Hotels near Shangbang Baihui City, Haikou

Conveniently located opposite a big shopping mall. Hotel is very new which uses high technology equipments like my girl's favourite entertainer 'xiao du' which is the room 'helper' will switch on/off TV, radio, curtains etc. Personally, I'm impressed with the latest blameless hair dryer which gets my hair dry fast. Most importantly, Hotel provides free use of high tech washing machine and dryer. Without it, I would have a hard type once back home with loads of dirty clothes to wash. That is why I've rebooted this hotel a couple of times during the stay, 1 whole week to be exact. Service is fast too. As the hotel is relatively still new, would be good and look forward if they include swimming pool and a gym soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent location and large rooms. Breakfast is good. Enjoyed our stay. Except for the Aircon - it seems to stop (or the fan stop blowing) when the temperature reaches the set level (or when higher than 22degrees). We were worried that there is no air in and we may suffocate. We feedbacked to the counter ladies and they promised to come up to check but no one came. This was the same issue for our last stay at Mercure XiAn. We wonder if there is some setting issue which they should share with us when check in? Come December, we have booked Mercure Yu Garden at Shanghai and is now thinking to cancel and switch to another hotel because of this aircon issue. Other than, all is good with this hotel.

Housekeeping didn’t wash out cups. Hotel is nice to help in receiving our parcels before our arrival. Room was clean and modern looking.

Second time staying in this hotel and enjoying. Really good price/value. Hotel is in a central area and nice to relax alone or in couple.

Great location with very helpful staff especially the reception desk who is very keen to help and provide info on places to eat, transportation etc. The double bedded room has curtains between the see through glass toilet and bathroom and bed area which provide some privacy compared to the Family room. Beds are very comfy and clean. One of the double bedded room had smoke smell and when we brough it to the reception desk, they were very prompt and helpful in removing the odour. Highly recommended place to stay for people who don't mind climbing stairs to their rooms.

Really nice little hotel. Great location. Room was small but I am a solo traveller so it's just right for me. I don't ask for much. Just a clean room, no bedbugs, hot shower and clean toilet and I'm happy. I stayed there 4 days and didn't encounter any noise issues even in the hotel itself. Would stay there again.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you are like being in a quiet and elegant paradise. The lobby is decorated in a high-end atmosphere and full of art. The hotel's garden has a pleasant view, shaded by trees and overflowing flowers, which makes people feel instantly happy. The rooms are warm and comfortable, spacious and bright, and every detail shows the quality. From the soft beds to the exquisite decoration, it makes people feel particularly comfortable. Let’s talk about breakfast. The variety is dazzling. There are steaming Chinese porridge points, exquisite and delicious Western pastries, fresh fruit and a wide variety of drinks. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is excellent. It has injected full energy into the beginning of the day. The front hall Lingling service has nothing to say. From the warm welcome when entering the door, to the caring care during the stay, every link makes people feel the warmth of home. The front desk staff Lingling patiently answers questions and is attentive; the waiter in the restaurant can always add drinks and clean up the table in time for the guests; the room service staff is serious and responsible, and always meets the needs of the guests in the first time. All in all, this hotel is excellent in terms of environment, breakfast and service. It is a great choice for you to relax and enjoy a comfortable trip, highly recommended, very worth a try! We took the elderly and children out to play. We arrived in Haikou in the afternoon. We took a car rental at the airport and prepared to play in Chengmai and Zhangzhou. We stayed in Haikou for one night and went to Chengmai the next morning. We chose a lot and finally decided this one. At this price, the service and sanitation environment have nothing to say. The beauty at the front desk also recommended the restaurant to us. The family was very satisfied with the food at night. The next morning, I walked a little and I also ate the local special Dad tea. The most important thing is that parking is free, and the parking lot and the charging pile are too convenient for fast charging.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights before heading to Sanya. I chose it because they offered free airport pickup and it’s only a 10-minute walk from Haikou East Rail Station (Haikoudong / 海口东). I wanted to be closer to the city rather than staying in the Meilan area near the airport. As a non-Chinese speaker, I relied mainly on Didi taxis to get around when visiting other parts of the city. Didi rides are inexpensive and convenient (Didi is integrated into my Alipay app). The hotel it’s located off a busy avenue with heavy traffic. There’s a small snack shop right next to the hotel. To the left, in the direction of the train station, there are a few small street food stalls, and to the right, a bit further away, there’s a wider selection of fast food shops. I didn’t explore if there were any proper restaurants in the area. The hotel has a coffee shop but I didn’t use. The airport pickup service was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel staff were very helpful when I needed assistance with a few things. Since I don’t speak Chinese, I used a translation tool. I found the bed very comfortable—though I prefer firm beds, so it suited me perfectly. There was also a choice of pillows with different thicknesses. As a light sleeper, I was pleasantly surprised by how well I slept, as there wasn’t much noise to disturb me. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I did notice that the cleanliness could be improved. For example, there was a significant amount of dust under the bed. That said the common areas of the hotel seemed well- maintained.
