Mercure Haikou City Center

1) Upon Check in on 19 Oct 2025, around 12noon, made the request with check-in to have our 4 rooms to be on same floor. Reception was very helpful and assisted with the request and we had 4 rooms on the same floor. As my mom is elderly and staying with the helper, it was good to be on same floor in case they needed help. Forgot to ask for the receptionist name. 2) Twin bedded room was huge and amenities were all well equipped. rooms were all very cleaned. 3) Hotel location is good as nearby to some eateries/shopping and also about 30mins to Meilan International Airport.

My family of 8 stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Excellent front desk and housekeeping services, many of them went all out to help us. For instance, we are so impressed with this front desk lady(Ms 郭) who patiently shared various suggestions with us on where to eat and tour; when one of our smoke free room smelled of smoke, she arrange a air purifier for us and it does help to improve air quality. Housekeeping personnel made arrangements to get us 8 pairs of slippers when we want to go opposite for dinner once the typhoon has subsidized but certain areas are still very wet. Rooms are spacious and clean. Love the spread of breakfast. Walking distance to a few shopping malls. Will stay here again in my next visit to Haikou!

We booked 4 rooms on the same day of check in and was very glad we checked into this hotel. The hotel has new furnishings and rooms are clean. We were delighted with the warm customer service especially Ms Guo Lingzhen who attended to us. The location may not be the best as in a mall is right in front. We don't need that! A bit of walking will bring us to eateries and shopping. We absolutely loved the breakfast! If I were to be back in Haikou, I will not hesitate to check in this hotel again.
