Went 30 December 2022 to spent the last couple of days of the year in what it supposed to be a cosy mountainous hotel set up. It was just that. A cosy refurbished old hotel in the middle of a forest, a short walking distance from Platres village. There is a huge history concerning the role the hotel played as the place for the rich and famous in the early 20th century until the end of the 80's. Royals, movie stars and wealthy individuals stayed at the hotel, photos of which are everywhere. The room was clean, the temperature was perfect and everything worked just fine. The a la cart menu offers few choices, but the food quality was above average to our satisfaction. Not expensive as well. The wine list was short and was focused to local wineries from which there was a handful of worth to try (if you are familiar with the local varieties or if you can get help from the head waiter). Excellent service at the restaurant, smiling faces everywhere and helpful staff in every corner. Taking under consideration the fact that is a facility deep in the forest, old and with a well established mountainous character, it is unfair to judge the simplicity of the design or the lack of 5 modern star building materials. You get what you pay and that is not a high end 21st century super luxury hotel. There is of course room for improvement starting from the unacceptable condition of the private road when you enter the gates heading upwards for the Hotel (about 4 hundred meters). It's totally destroyed and no maintenance have been taken place for decades. There is no lighting to help you avoid the holes so if you are not cautious your car might end up with some kind of damage. If this piece of road is part of the land that belongs to the hotel , then this is totally unacceptable. Generally though a good experience.

This place has a long history and already existed in the 1950s. Given that you shouldn't expect a completely renovated new hotel yet a cute little place to rest after hour hikes. The rooms are clean and some have a balcony overlooking the beautiful valley and the olympus. The staff speaks English and was very friendly. The hotel is clean and the All you can eat breakfast for 6,50€ per person is best to enjoy on the terrace outside. The rooms don't have air conditioning but a little fan so it'll get hot in summer. Would totally stay there again!

I came to Casale Panayiotis to celebrate my 50th birthday with my closest friends and family who all enjoyed my celebrations at the Kava which I booked for my private event and my guests all stayed over too. My family and I stayed for three nights to enjoy the local surroundings, the village and the spa facilities. Honestly, we all had an amazing time. The staff not only treated me like royalty but all my guests too. We had a fabulous time. Angelos, Kyriakos and all the team were incredible on the night of my party. Nothing was too much trouble and every request I had (which there were several) were all met with smiles and attentiveness. I couldn’t have asked for more. The food was amazing all thanks to the chef and his team, thank you. As an event planner myself I understand the headaches of demands with so many tiny details and everything I asked for was met perfectly. Iliania and Axis from the operations and F&B team have answered every query I had in all the planning and preparations long before I arrived. Honestly 5* doesn’t do justice to the way in which I and all my guests have been treated. Thank you all for an incredible party that I will remember and cherish forever and to the fabulous stay and 100% the best massage I have ever had from Kiki in the spa. Thank you so much

Generally we have enjoyed our stay! Wonderful location, view, many available amenities, deco of the hotel, family atmosphere, friendly staff and food -especially buffet. But the first cold night the heating, that we paid for, was out of service air condition and central. The people that were available to talk to at night in the reception weren't able to help. The next morning they manage to send a technician- that we demanded -and the problem was fixed but nobody came us to discuss any payback to us in any way as it was a lost paid service. Plus, despite that I have booked a room for two adults and two kids, 9-year-old and less than two years,they told me that they could not see that at their system. They said that, they will arrange it. Finally they charged us without any prior notice, despite I have paid online our stay.
