Hotel is a block from the 60s , rooms are very small, good location, nice bar and bar staff. Reception constantly under staffed. Bathrooms also take you back in time. The area is very attractive, but you need a car , there is a bus service from and to the hotel.

we were upgraded to a suite which had a separate lounge area and great views over the river. It was a single night stay so we could not make full use. Big comfortable bed offset by a slightly tired bathroom and the lack of a proper shower. Breakfast - easily the best experience of our tour through Germany and overcame the disappointment of the previous night's dinner, which was indifferent (my wife's gnocchi was massively overcooked). Koblenz is a beautiful city.
