2 Star Hotels in EL Nido

I stayed at this hostel 4 nights on 12 bed room. Good place to party, nice view and far from town. You must take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. Wifi not so good. there is no wifi inside the room and no line connection. They have island hopping tour, van transport etc. Also have restaurant down there. Overall i will stay here just for sleep.

We had an amazing and comfortable stay at Swiftlets. Perfectly located in between the town and Corong Corong beach. Friendly staff and Great breakfast. We were able to walk in and out of town which was a saving. However Tricycles are readily available right opposite the hotel. There is a laundromat opposite the hotel which was really cheap and efficient. The manager is very hands on and staff on duty 24/7. Great Value for money. We will definitely use them again should we return.

Disclaimer: This was during check out. Overall, it was a good value for money. I's safe and near the town and el nido dock. You can just walk to find food. Although, they don't have the best amenities, it was good. Most stays in El Nido are quite expensive so this one was a catch.

Not bad, soundproofing is a little worse

El Nido is such a small hotel

Rooms are spacious, looks clean. There is free wifi, with repeaters on each floor. In the room there’s A/C, a ceiling fan, a TV, a dresser table and some wooden chairs. Some reviews mention dirty water and a funky smell. There is a slightly funky smell which you’ll get used to so it’s not a big deal. Water from the faucet was not that dirty in my opinion, probably depends on the supply. In each floor there is a common area where you can fix yourself free coffee and tea. Each floor has a balcony area, the 3rd to 4th floors have a great view of the bay. There is no elevator, only stairs. There’s intermittent power interruptions (not the hotel’s fault). For those times, there’s a generator that usually kicks in, you won’t be able to use the A/C but the ceiling fan should work. Location is great. Walking distance to the pier where boat tours start, lots of restos around, located centrally downtown. There is a small ref in the lobby where you can buy mineral water, but there are small convenience stores outside also. We usually leave the keys in the lobby when going out. We stayed 3 nights, rooms weren’t proactively cleaned while we were gone. It didn’t matter to us since we weren’t really messy, but some people might be looking for regular room cleanups. Prices are affordable. View at the top floor is great.

The first impression was just horrible. Taken a group tour and within his program, we all, in the size of 7, were settled in this place. The room is very close: the baggage is essentially hard to build so that it doesn't interfere under the feet. Also the transition was useful (always take with you), as in the rooms another type of roast. But we are still lucky: perhaps because we asked a room with a big bed (the workers are practically not speaking English at all and hardly understood at all that we all wanted from them). Although the room was eventually with two beds: one big and the other small. Still in this space we had a small cabinet and we had everything worked and nothing smelled. We stayed in a big plus. The rest were lucky less: It smelled, didn't work hot water, there was no chair and even the Internet barachlid more often than we (successful second floor). And although with great hardship and a couple of days later, part of our group moved to the same second floor - the Internet we worked better. Cleaning, if I correctly understood, on request. Breakfast as in all hotels of this category and on the ball above, scarce. Three breakfasts are offered for choice: English (toast, bean with jam and butter, banana), some kind of no toasts like and the Philippine version with rice (subscribed to the same bean and a couple more variations, For example with dried and at the same time fried fish). The room is very close to the restaurants and bars but is quite away to make no so much noise. The room has a mosquito and air conditioning. Instead of a closet there is a fireplace and the bathroom smells a little moist. The staff are not only speaking English but are quite clean and the wifi works well.
