We were in a room where there was a hole in the roof that had been patched up with bandaids. There was a thunderstorm during the night and water started dripping. We were meant to stay 2 nights, but only stayed 1.
There is also not a permanent member of staff on call all the time, so if you need assistance, you may need to wait a few hours.

The hotel's location is great, with plenty of restaurants nearby, right on the edge of Myeongdong shopping street. Public transport and subways are very convenient. The front desk had a staff member who spoke Chinese during check-in. I stayed for four nights straight to avoid moving around (the only downside was the slightly small room). It offers excellent value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again if I come to Seoul in the future.

Spent a consecutive 1-week vacation in Korea and stayed at this very nice accommodation. The location was good, with Myeongdong nearby. Although it was quite cold in Korea in December, the room remained warm and comfortable due to good temperature control.
The airport limousine stop was very close to the hotel, and there were several 24-hour restaurants nearby. Overall, the accommodation offered very high value for money, and I would definitely choose it again when traveling to Korea.

Every time I visit Seoul, South Korea, I make sure to stay at L7 Myeongdong. It's a stylish hotel with a comfortable atmosphere and an excellent location, right next to Myeong-dong Station (Line 4). Step out of the hotel, turn the corner, and you're just a few steps away from the Myeongdong shopping district. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and there are two 24-hour convenience stores right next door. The hotel lobby is on the third floor and provides complimentary coffee from a coffee machine. There are also cafes on the second floor and in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic!
(For those wondering about transport: From Incheon Int’l Airport, take the A*Rex Airport Express directly to Seoul Station, then transfer to Subway Line 4 and ride two stops to Myeong-dong Station. The entire journey takes about an hour.)

⚠️ This hotel is mainly for Chinese guests, but avoid it at all costs!⚠️
First, the good points: The location is great, convenient for the subway, airport bus, and shopping. The room was also tidy and slightly larger than typical Japanese hotels.
Now, the bad: The staff's attitude was terrible 👎🏾. They overcharged for early check-in/late check-out.
I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM local time today. Since I hadn't slept all night on a red-eye flight, I asked the front desk if I could pay for an early check-in. The receptionist immediately told me: ”You can check in at 10 AM, but it will cost 66,000 KRW.” (There was absolutely no miscommunication! The receptionist showed me the number on a calculator!) I felt that paying almost a full night's rate for just a few hours early was clearly unreasonable, so I gave up on checking in and went out to work, despite my exhaustion. (At the time, I even tried to negotiate a discount, but the receptionist told me that was the fixed price.) Later, when I checked in normally at 6:30 PM, the hotel provided an ”Check-in Guide” which clearly stated in black and white: Early check-in / Late check-out will incur an additional charge of 11,000 KRW per hour.
This means: They inflated the price in the morning and deliberately didn't mention the hourly rate until guests saw the clear pricing standard for the first time during evening check-in.
What's even more ironic is that when I asked about late check-out in the evening, the staff still just mechanically repeated: ”11,000 KRW per hour,” showing no awareness that there was any issue with the information provided in the morning.
It's not that they can't charge, it's that they shouldn't charge *like this*. Because I complained to Trip.com and reported the issue to the hotel manager that same night, the next day at check-out, the staff member who quoted me the price had a 180-degree change in attitude compared to yesterday. Their face showed their displeasure directly – this is South Korean service for you.
I strongly advise against this hotel for travelers who are sensitive about rules, have tight schedules, or need flexible check-in times. Be cautious and avoid this place.

a really nice hotel, great bathroom and comfortable beds (not soft but that’s normal, they are really good anyway). no breakfast but you can have unlimited noodles, and not the cheapest flavorless ones but the good kind! the staff was helpful too, even let me register for my flight using their computer. one thing that might be a problem for some people is tat there’s no elevator, so jf you have heavy luggage and are staying on 3/4/5 floor, you’re in trouble… i stayed on the ground floor so it wasn’t an issue. the terrace is great, we spend our mornings and evenings there eating breakfast and dinner.

We booked 2 double timber spa room for 5 of us as there were no other family suite available. We were assigned 601 and 701, which was 1 floor above each other. No connecting room as the other room on the same floor is another configuration.
The room was clean and it was nice to be able to have our laundry washed. Instructions were clear during check in. They also had some green tea leaves for us to make and drink. Water bottles were provided in the fridge.

Booked a 3-night, 4-day stay at Myeongdong SL Hotel through Ctrip, and my overall experience was a mix of good and bad. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable – just across the street from Myeongdong, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Plus, there are convenience stores nearby, so grabbing drinks or other necessities was a breeze. The room amenities were excellent, with a washing machine, dryer, and refrigerator, which is incredibly practical for longer stays or frequent travelers. Everything was easy to use. The only downsides were that the room's heating was a bit too warm, making it feel stuffy after a while. Also, there's room for improvement in service details; on our third day of a three-night stay, housekeeping didn't clean the room, and our key card wasn't registered, causing a delay before we headed out. I hope the hotel can improve its daily checks for hygiene and key card functionality.

This is my first time staying somewhere so satisfying in all my trips to Korea! Even though I only managed to book a double room, it was incredibly clean and the location was excellent. I also have to commend the ********* girl at the front desk – her service was thoughtful, enthusiastic, and polite! I suggest the owner gives her a raise to keep her; I want to see her again on my next visit! Thank you!

HHuoxingdouhuliThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to Ibis and across from Lotte. After arriving at Incheon, I took the 6015 bus, which took about an hour and a half to reach the Ibis hotel stop. From there, I walked a short distance to see the Apple store, and the hotel is located upstairs. You can enter the building from either side. I went to the 9th floor for check-in.
I booked the most basic room, and it was indeed small. I couldn't fully open my 26-inch suitcase at the foot of the bed, so I organized my belongings in the area near the door and then stored the suitcase away during the day. On each floor, near the elevators, there's a water dispenser with both hot and cold water. During check-out, a Korean gentleman who spoke Chinese provided excellent service. Additionally, the hotel offers luggage storage lockers, which are free for up to 8 hours.

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely superb, with the subway station literally right outside the door. It felt very safe at night. The front desk staff member was also incredibly diligent and responsible. Breakfast was also great. We'll definitely book again next time; it was truly fantastic!

GGuest UserWe spent 6 nights here and absolutely loved our stay! 🩵 The service and communication were amazing — the staff were always respectful, super friendly, and really made things easy for us. I could even ask the reception to help me with delivery orders, which made my trip feel so much lighter and stress-free.
The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. I especially loved the dining area where we could enjoy our meals while watching movies with a great sound system — such a nice touch! The place is well-equipped and thoughtfully designed.
Overall, a lovely stay with one of the best service experiences I’ve had in Korea. Would definitely come back next time! 🌸

AAleen88Book Family Room that can accomodate 4 people. Very clean, provided with small towel, not a bath towel. Shampoo and shower soap available. No toothbrush provided. Comfy bed and pillow. Very big room and we can open our 4 big luggages.
Breakfast provided with self service, laundary area available. Common room or pantry available for you to cook yourself.
Elevator available to bring the luggage to the room.
Only that, for you to reach the guesthouse, very hilly area. Recommend for young people, but not for old people.

JJane14The hotel’s location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The breakfast selection was satisfying, offering fresh and delicious options to start the day. Hotel facilities were well-kept and thoughtfully designed for guests’ comfort. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The bed was extremely cozy, allowing us to have a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless and replenishing amenities daily. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made our stay even more relaxing. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. They were always polite, attentive, and willing to assist with any requests or inquiries. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

RRaff_MI stayed at Myeongdong Stay Inn and found it to be a basic budget option with a great location and convenient self check-in. However, the room was quite small and the bed not very comfortable. There were no bath towels provided—only small ones—and no cleaning service during the stay (you have to take out your own garbage). It’s fine if you just need a place to sleep for a night, but I’ll likely choose a different place next time.

Ddee_emThe room was not for couples, it is made for 1 person only. Too small for 2 people. But the location is great. Price a bit reasonable but not really (if you know what I mean). Staff were friendly though. No flat iron in the room nor at the hotel so make sure you have one when you book here, don't forget your adaptors for your chargers too ;)

MM272309****Convenient stay: It is more convenient, next to Myeongdong subway station, but you need to take a big uphill, it takes about 5-8 minutes
Facilities: The facilities are relatively complete, the room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer , etc.
Hygiene: The overall hygiene can also be accepted, there is a little dirty
Service : Self-service throughout the whole process, basically there is no service at all
