Yitel Properties in Datong

On our second day in Datong, we switched to this hotel and were absolutely delighted! We had originally stayed at a decent chain hotel nearby on our first night (I usually book through their app, it's convenient and rarely disappoints), but the AC wasn't working. So, first thing the next morning, we checked out and moved to Yihe. We arrived quite early, but the front desk lady, understanding our situation, immediately gave us a freshly cleaned room and even offered a welcome fruit platter! So thoughtful! When we got to the room, the cleaning staff was still meticulously checking for cleanliness. Upon hearing that the AC wasn't working at our previous hotel, they immediately adjusted the AC to a cooler temperature for us – amazing! What I loved most is that after a day out exploring, you can comfortably enjoy coffee or even a bowl of noodles late at night in the lobby restaurant. Pros: Excellent service, rich breakfast, good late-night snacks, and close to attractions!
