The hotel offers dedicated underground parking, which was very convenient. Facilities: Everything was excellent. Cleanliness: The room was spotless. Location: While the hotel is a bit of a distance from the ancient city – I definitely wouldn't recommend walking there as the South Gate isn't accessible – getting a taxi or shared bike is easy. On the plus side, there are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent. If the robot delivery for takeout was delayed, the front desk would promptly bring it up, which was a welcome change from endless waits at other hotels. We also received complimentary fruit and 'goodnight soup'. The breakfast was arguably the best part of our stay. It offered an incredible variety and tasted delicious.

We stayed one night on our visit to the grottos in Datong. This hotel is friendly, clean and modern. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel (around one mile). Would definitely recommend.

The only thing I am not satisfied with is the elevator. There are only two small and slow ones. Everything else is very satisfactory, although the price is a little expensive during the Spring Festival
