Totally mixed feelings. Check in great. Greeted by the wonderful Nicki. What an asset she is. All the reception staff are helpful and friendly. Room ready on arrival. Had booked a single room limited sv. Was given room 242. Walking into the room my heart sank. Room looked like it hadn’t been upgraded since it was built. Off walls in places it didn’t need them. Sparse furniture which had seen better days. Comfy bed and pillows was the only positive. It was the most dark and depressing room I’d ever seen. The bathroom was ridiculously small. Great if you are a Pygmy but not a real sized adult. To get into the shower you have to twist your body as the shower doors put on the wrong side, squeeze through the tiny gap by the sink then put you leg up and climb into the bath. Then run the shower which is just a hole, it leaked all the time & the toilet didn’t flush properly. There was not a limited sv just a view on a green roof and the stunning sister hotel next door. Went to complain. I hate complaining but the room was dire. This is a 4*hotel not minus 4. Nicky said she’d speak to her boss and to come back the next day. They did upgrade me to the deluxe room 442 Which was so much better and lovely however this is the type of room should be the standard. I always stay in 4* and the room was like any other hotel I’ve stayed in. Lovely see view. If I’d have stayed in room 242 I probably would have left to go to another hotel as it was that depressing! They shouldn’t be selling these rooms. It’s not fair to guests who book a 4* hotel. The restaurant is nothing more than a cafeteria. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the food and the choices. Food always luke warm. More 2-3 star standard. Meat and fish choices with vegetable, chips etc. I’m not fussy and did get some odd concoctions but bitterly disappointed by what was on offer. Staff pleasant. The breakfast was the best meal. Bacon extremely overdone but I did get some whilst they were cooking it and got some not overdone. Lovely fresh omelettes available, fresh fruit, pastries etc. need more coffee machines as queue can be long in the morning. Bar- great outdoor bar. Staff lovely. I tried to order in Spanish to the boy of one of the lovely waiters. Food nice at the bar. Good selection of drinks. Sunbed situation - I arrived at lunch and found one sunbed free. If you want a good spot be down for 7:20am Otherwise there will be beds by the sea available till around 9am. The beds are back breakers. Very worn out. They do have about a dozen matresses but these go by 7:30am. It’s a wonderful place to sunbathe. The sea breeze is perfect. Entertainment- can’t comment as didn’t partake but the lads who run it are friendly and don’t annoy you if you don’t want to join in. Hotel is not really near anything. Marina 10-15 min walk away. Taxi to centre around €8- 9 The beach bar is a fabulous place to sit out. Didn’t eat there but you can pay to. Was told by reception that if you book direct with Cat

2nd stay here in this beautiful hotel. We booked direct with free cancellation. Upgraded to a huge suite when we arrived with separate lounge 2 terraces! What an amazing treat! Also came back after day of relaxing by the pool to a bottle of cava and a note to say thank you for returning! Really appreciate theses perks, makes it feel special. The actual hotel is beautiful, no kids which makes it such a calm quiet retreat. The pool on roof amazing. No rush for a sunbed, always a bed or cabana available whatever time you get up there. Breakfast is so delicious and the choice is out of this works, we would sit for a good hour and leisurely enjoy the food and ambiance. Beds are huge and very comfortable views in all rooms are sea view. The staff here are so attentive but not overbearing. Will help with anything from bits needed for room to restaurant recommendations. Lovely happy helpful people. I really cant wait to return, hopefully in September! Sunshine, great food, amazing views, comfy beds, no kids! Perfect 🤩

Been here for a week now. Good to see so many positive reviews but a bit confused by the negative reports on here. Don’t come to a family hotel and then moan about families enjoying themselves. The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are constantly working to keep it that way. They are also so friendly and happy in their work. If you’ve taken 15 minutes to walk to town you must have gone the wrong way. There’s a nice beach in town and an even nicer one the other direction 10 - 15 mins walk along the coast (playa Niu Blau). Even Es Canar is only 40 mins walk by road. Food is fine with plenty of choice and the staff here are wonderful Best thing about it is we’re here for another week.

Not long back from a two week wonderful stay at the Duquesa Playa. My umpteenth time a the Hotel and it never disappoints. From the rooftop pool , and the cleanliness of the rooms, it ticks the boxes at all levels.Walid and his team make you feel so welcome. Finally, step out of the Hotel and your in the lovely town of Santa Eulalia. The Marina, restaurants and boutique shops to visit.What a place.

Excellent hotel next to the marina - Superb views of sea and marina ( 426) Our balcony ideal for chilling in late afternoon All rooms sea facing have lovely views Location is ideal for restaurants at marina or in town or beach areas . Great for walking too Many plus points to our stay Breakfasts were excellent and loads of variety each morning - cereals, hams and cheeses , fresh fruits , variety of breads , full English if you wanted & both inside or a lovely outside seated courtyard area Amenities of hotel great - Wi-Fi , lounge areas inside and outside too with comfortable furnishings & reception area Ample size pool of varying depth Sun beds Lounge chairs and pool bar - We loved the pool snacks and late afternoon drinks / cocktails Quality Dining room for option of evening meals menu available Rooms modern & are tasteful and with all amenities including well stocked fridges bathroom toiletries and superb walk in shower too Modern bedroom furnishings make it special Finally the hotel staff , Always friendly helpful and happy to make your stay special . They helped make the atmosphere of the hotel welcoming Big thanks to all the staff making it a holiday break to remember Highly recommend this hotel We didn’t eat in the restaurant as there were so many restaurants on the marina or “Main Street of restaurants “ to try Loved the hotel

This was our second trip to The Hotel Riomar in Ibiza this year and we were not disappointed. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. Two things stand out , the hotel is in the best location in the resort, being right across the promenade from the beach with its own and free to hotel guests beach facilities, It means you can wander between the beautiful pool and the beach. The second feature of the Hotel Riomar are the brilliant staff. We have stayed at all the best hotels in the resort and none compare with the Staff at the Riomar. I would love to now the secret of recruiting and managing such a great team. It seems a bit unfair to single out individuals as everyone without exception was great however we did feel that Oscar (who sorted out our room so brilliantly) Diego and Nieves (spelling ?) who went well beyond the normal level of support and service, Thank you all for this. It is hard to find anything to criticise,. but the rooms are quite small but very well appointed, A small tip is that if you are looking for a lighter snack take a look at the kids menu, the toasted sandwiches are excellent and good value. We will be returning

We stayed in a Level superior room for a week in July. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 12 years and have seen many changes, we think this was the best experience so far. We prefer the rooms in the newer section of the hotel due to their larger size, walk in shower, comfortable super-king bed, balcony with day bed and beautiful views - this was our reason for wanting the room, we were not sure about the ‘Level’ experience and the extra costs for it but went for it and were so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed and our luggage taken to our room ( which was the same specification as previous years), we were lucky to have a corner room so the view was even better. The Level facilities were wonderful, the new lounge and dining area is beautiful, so peaceful, and a nice place to come to and enjoy a cool drink away from the heat around the pool. It was a bonus at breakfast to have options that were cooked to order and great coffee. Until 11 pm there were all drinks available as well as a range of snacks. Tapas and cocktails 5-6 pm was brilliant, there was always something to enjoy. We like to visit the town in the evenings for drinks and meals and do not expect entertainment at the hotel, we appreciate the quiet atmosphere, so it is perfect for our needs. We used the larger ground level pool mainly, there were many new wooden beds as well as the original ones, there were plenty to go round and did not see beds being reserved as in previous years. There is piped music played all day, perhaps when there is a DJ set or musician playing it could be turned down so you can hear the live music? We found staff in every area of the hotel to be friendly, helpful and professional, we were asked about our experience a few times and anything that might be improved. The only thing we might suggest is that there could be at least 1 English speaking channel on the room tv - all other nationalities seem to be catered for? We will be back in the Level next year, thank you!
