Ii recently had the pleasure of staying at Hans XiHu for a three-day trip, and I am thrilled to say that we made the right choice. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for a fantastic experience.
First the hotel is small but clean. Our balcony room was well appointed with modern Chinese accents. This addition was a delightful touch and provides a serene space to relax and rewind after a full day of exploring.
The location of the hotel was another highlight. Situated in a busy yet safe area, we found ourselves surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and shops, making it convenient to find dining options and explore the local scene. Additionally, the proximity to a park with a small lake was a delightful surprise. We took advantage of this by enjoying peaceful mornings in the park before embarking on our daily sightseeing activities.
One of the standout features of the hotel was the complimentary laundry service. This amenity was a welcome surprise, and we took full advantage of it by submitting 15 pieces of clothing for laundering. To our delight, the laundry was returned to us on the same day, washed and neatly folded. This level of service exceeded our expectations and made our stay even more convenient.
However, what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. From providing valuable recommendations for local attractions and restaurants to going the extra mile in making reservations for us, their attentiveness and genuine care made our trip more meaningful and memorable.
Overall, our experience at Hansi Xihu was highly satisfying. The combination of a clean and comfortable environment, a convenient location, surprising amenities like the complimentary laundry service, and the outstanding service from the front desk staff made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a delightful and personalized experience.
The environment is very good. The room is very spacious and has a bathtub. I didn't want to take a bath at first, but I saw that the merchant was very considerate and provided a disposable bath mask and bath liquid, so I took a nice bath. The service of the little brother and sister at the front desk was very good. They helped me wash and dry my clothes thoughtfully. I will stay here again next time I come to Chaozhou. My friend saw me taking photos and she wanted to come too, haha.

We have had a fabulous time since arriving at the hotel. We were received by very friendly and helpful receptionists. The room is very clean and is well stuffed with toiletries, the Aircon is cold to my liking but can be adjusted accordingly. The roof terrace is very scenic, however, the views of the Guangjie Bridge is only in partial view.
The location is superb, walkable to all the top attractions.
The hotel breakfast is at nearby with delicious local dishes. The owner is ever so helpful, her service is above and beyond to cater to my mum.
Lastly but not least, we are overall very happy with the service we received from this hotel and will highly recommend anyone looking to look for a 5 star accomodation.
A big shout to receptionist Xiao Yi for her fantastic service.

The location of the hotel is pretty good. It is not far from the ancient city, but there is a distance, so it is not noisy. The hotel has a sightseeing bus to Guangji Bridge, but due to traffic control, it cannot be delivered to the front. Walk along the Hanjiang River and buy a hairpin to make a hairdo. The things in the scenic area are not expensive. This must be praised for the ancient city of Chaozhou. There were not many people in the scenic spot yesterday, and it was convenient to eat and walk. The lady at the front desk was very gentle and took the initiative to upgrade our room type. The room is quite large, the pillows are very comfortable, one latex pillow and one low pillow. The shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and hand soap are all orange-flavored, which feels very good. The breakfast is also good. There are not many people. The noodles and rice noodles are delicious, and there are oil oranges and yellow peaches. There is just a small problem. The small floor lamp is too sensitive at night, and it will light up when turning over. Everything else is really good. Recommend friends who go to Chaozhou to play must choose here.

The room is actually better than the photo. The layout is very reasonable and the facilities are new. It is very clean and the security is very good. It is very quiet at night and I slept well all night. The landlord is very reliable. Every time I contact him, he replies in seconds. If I have any questions, he can also give a satisfactory answer. I will recommend this homestay to my friends~
The hotel is located on the main road of Chaofeng Road, adjacent to the archway street of Chaozhou Ancient City, Chaozhou West Lake, Kaiyuan Temple, Chaozhou Municipal Government, Chaozhou Customs, Chaozhou People's Square, superior location, convenient transportation, many catering and delicacies for you to choose, surrounded by RT-Mart, Nanfengli Shopping Center, Left City/Right City Food World, Xinqiao Road Commercial Pedestrian Street, Suning Tesco and other shopping and food shopping malls
The hotel is mainly decorated in the new Chinese style, using Daixi's new zero-pressure mattress, airy memory foam pillows, and high-end bedding to meet the different needs of business and leisure travel. At the beginning of the design of the hotel, the team adheres to the concept of creating a good time for the guests, and is in the process of transposition at any time, thinking about what people think, conveying affection with things, and making every effort to provide our guests with a comfortable and elegant check-in environment, full of care between the bits, so that the guests can stay as warm and warm as a family.

It was my first time staying at this hotel, and the overall experience was quite good. There are also many places to eat nearby, and it is very close to the ancient city, a five-minute taxi ride away, so it is quite convenient to go out and play. The hotel facilities are complete - quite good, the suite is large and equipped with a bathtub, the front desk service attitude is very good, there is free tea in the lobby, and there is a piano performance at the door. Overall, it is highly recommended
Chaoyi Minglin Mansion is a courtyard style inn of Chaozhou ancient residential buildings invested and operated by Chaoyi Minglin Mansion Tourism Management Co., Ltd. The original owner was Lin Xichun, the Minister of the Ming Dynasty. The mansion was built by Lin Xichun during his leisurely visit to the forest and has a history of over 400 years. The inn retains the traditional architectural layout of local ancient houses, providing customers with an immersive "museum" living experience. The Minglin Mansion faces west to east and is a three entry courtyard. On both sides of the main gate, there are standing stone drums and blue brick walls, granite, depicting traces of 400 years of wind and rain, exuding a strong historical charm. Chaozhou Gongfu Tea, Chaozhou Woodcarving, Chaozhou Ceramics, Chaozhou Cuisine and other craft and cultural imprints are scattered throughout every corner of the mansion. Through this model of Ming Dynasty mansion architecture, many aspects of Chaozhou culture can be read. The style of the guest rooms varies greatly, and the room names are all taken from Lin Xichun's poetry, reflecting the basic concept of "bringing poetry into life" in homestays. The rationalization of the interior of the mansion and the appropriate introduction of modern facilities have also made the living environment more elegant and comfortable.

Absolutely amazing, every little detail. The hotel is charming, beautifully designed and the rooms are spacious, with every convenience of modern living - better than a five star hotel in almost every way.
The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and have tons of very very good recommendations for restaurants and services. From drivers to rentals to the best things to see. The restaurants we tried on their recommendation were excellent. Far better quality than most on the walking street - I just wish we had more time to try them all - two days was not enough.
The rooms are perfect for two couples or a family, the bathroom has enough privacy, and they have very nice quality amenities. The air conditioners keep the room warm in winter, and the beds are very comfortable. You can also bring back food from outside to eat in the common courtyard.
Would very highly recommend this hotel if you are going to spend time in the old city. One of the best I have stayed at.

The most incredible hotel stay in China after more than 3 weeks travelling around Xinjiang, Beijing and Xiamen. I have only superlatives in describing every moment and experience at Chaozhou Nanyi from the cleanliness, rooms, beds, bathrooms with the latest high-tech toilets, showers etc. The deco along the passageways, room layout is just so tastefully laid out.
The unit I had comprised a master bedroom, another separate single room, a spacious sitting/tea/tv lounge, 2 separate bathrooms with latest high-tech features and a walk-in closet.
The breakfast is more than ample from a western to a noodle station to suit your choice of ingredients.
Tea and light snacks is served every afternoon, including a late night bowl of noodles, if you are hungry.
This hotel surpasses my every expectations of what a top 5 stars hotel should be, much better than some of the Kempinski’s I’ve stayed in, in Europe! And it’s surprisingly affordable!
No doubt my hotel of choice in Chaozhou!

Friendly staffs. Free teas sampling for guests. Welcome fruit tray. Room amenities are standard. Two types of pillow to choose. Memory foam bed. Room size is standard. Good value for the price. Here are some area can improve: shower floor is slippery, enforced on smoking prohibited policy in building premises, hotel lobby.

GGuest UserThe room is quite new and very clean. It is very close to the Taifo Store. However, it is too hot in Chaozhou. I am sweating as soon as I go out. The attitude of the front desk is very good. They give me summer tea as soon as I come back. They are also very enthusiastic about introducing Chaozhou. Attraction, I will continue to stay here next time I come here
GGuest UserThis time when I traveled to Chaozhou, I chose the All Seasons Hotel. The style of the All Seasons Hotel is relatively uniform, with a simple Japanese style. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is quite good. It takes about 3 quarters of an hour to walk from the ancient city, but walking and appreciating the Chaozhou street scene on the roadside is also a kind of city walk. I will still choose the All Seasons Hotel next time I travel.
GGuest UserThe inn is located in the ancient city, and it is easy to find. Just turn a corner and you will reach the main street of Paifang Street. It takes only 2 to 3 minutes to walk to Kaiyuan Temple, Guangji Bridge and other scenic spots. It is convenient, and you can come back to rest when you are tired; turn the other end to Xima Road Snack Street, where there are always endless delicious food. The room is very cost-effective, and the room is very comfortable and clean in all aspects. Various supporting facilities are well used, and it is also equipped with disposable toilet mats, disposable water cups, and earplugs (in fact, the surroundings of the room are very quiet, so they are not needed at all). It can be seen that the store owner is very careful and considerate. There is also a large rooftop upstairs, where you can go up to enjoy the cool air and be in a daze. It is very nice and comfortable; you can also dry clothes. It is really suitable for guests who come out to play for a few days. Friends who come to Chaozhou can place orders with confidence! !
GGuest UserThe boss is very, very enthusiastic! The fish the boss raises are very beautiful ~ especially the three fat fish are very cute! The location is in the ancient city of Chaozhou. It is also very fast to Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple. It takes only ten minutes to walk there. The whole journey is in the ancient city, which is very suitable for taking pictures! If you don’t want to walk, you can also rent a small electric car from the boss! But you have to book it early, otherwise it will be rented by others. In terms of food, compared with beef hot pot and sashimi, I still prefer snacks, especially I love sesame tea too much. I ate three bowls of sesame tea and one bowl of almond tea by myself in two days, but my husband didn’t like it very much, especially the taste of almond tea, he couldn’t accept it, he said it smelled like gasoline. The fermented bean curd chicken wings recommended by the boss are also very delicious. It seems to be called Hutu Ji. You can ask the boss for the location. It is not far from where you live. It's cooler in the evening after the sun goes down, much cooler than Changsha. I suggest you walk around the ancient city, and watch the light show at Guangji Bridge at 8 o'clock. But we all think the color combination of the light is a bit too emmm... Please watch the VCR... In short, Chaozhou and Shantou are all about eating and drinking~
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is new and location is great for visiting relatives in the area. Room size is good for 2 pax. Cleanliness is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. They even provide free airport transfer, which is a plus point. The chauffeur is friendly and help us with the luggage. Overall. It was a great experience.
GGuest UserAround 5 mins taxi to the entrance of ancient city, great view, excellent room design, particularly like the bathroom design! Exceptionally comprehensive gym equipment, neat and stylish gym environment. Helpful staff who helped to arrange taxi and recommend restaurant.
Major complaint was cleaning staff entering my room after I left the hotel despite my Do Not Disturb light was on. I was sure it was on because it is my usual practise, and I double-checked it that morning when I left the hotel. And the room service (which I did not expect) was chaotic. Used towels and bath rope were taken without replacement, and unused towels were somehow rearranged. Filled up some disposable utensils but were not tidily placed e.g. the slippers looked like being casually tossed around on the floor.
Instantly realized someone had entered my room when I arrived at my room door that evening as I could see the DND light was turned off. Hotel explained that the cleaning staff was unaware of the DND light. How ridiculous! It was deliberately turned off. Worse, how the hotel tried to keep the hassle low key by offering me free bfast or something was disappointing. I don't think the hotel had geniuely tried to understand how I see it as an intrusion, and how unacceptable that was to me. I did not feel safe when I found out someone entered my room against my will. Probably won't visit Chaozhou again and prefer not to stay with Crowne again.
GGuest UserIt was my first time staying in this B&B. The room was large and clean, and very quiet at night. It is not far from the ancient city, convenient for access, and very comfortable. I will recommend friends to stay here after returning.
Lleleplay1. It is not a B&B in the core area of the ancient city, but its advantages are also obvious. It is close to the entrance, the transportation is relatively convenient, and it is very quiet at night;
2. The room configuration is good, the hygiene is excellent, the bedding is very comfortable, and the mattress is praised; it is recommended that a door be added to the bathroom if possible, which will remain unchanged for our family trip;
3. The boss and his wife are locals and very enthusiastic. They drank tea and chatted together when we checked in and left. The boss’s tea was very good. Because I was sick, I went to the hospital first, and the boss even lent me a battery car to pick my husband up. I;
4. I went to both recommended restaurants. The Chaozhou restaurant is very good and the boss is very enthusiastic. Several recommended dishes taste better than ordinary roadside restaurants. Friendly reminder that it is a relatively high-end restaurant;
NNuosenbotangshiThe outdoor environment is normal! It feels almost like living in a garden building, nothing special. The weather is so bad that it feels like there is no wind if you want to go out for a walk, and the sun is everywhere! The room is not smelly! There are a lot of little cockroaches! The stainless steel floor drain is very dirty! I dare not take pictures. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but it's not surprising. It is more in the mountains, but the outdoors are not quite like the mountains... The health system is unprofessional... If you really want to make a name, it is recommended to change people
PPaul AllenThe hot springs spa (sold separately from the hotel) are a nice day/evening for relaxing and if you're going to the neighboring mountain for a bit of hiking then it might be worth it. But, the rooms (although clean) are a little minimal. The breakfast was a complete joke, served cold in a smokey, noisy environment. I couldn't believe it. This place was mentioned with a couple others in a vdieo review you can see here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7_GKqw0Qdk&t=395s
