Come to be volunteer at the white mountain marathon, and make a rando. Hotel well located in the centre. Someone at reception 24h/24, early breakfast without problem, varied, pleasant room ... I'll come back ...
Le Faucigny - Hotel de Charme

We had a great summer stay at Le Faucigny. We were in room 10 which had plenty of room for our family of 3, and opened up to a shared patio in front of the hotel, with a lovely view of Mont Blanc. The room was very quiet, the beds were incredibly comfortable! It felt extremely clean and like they were taking great care given the pandemic. The afternoon snacks were cancelled due to the pandemic, and breakfast was a bit more complicated than I imagine it usually is, as the reception had to serve everyone, which is to be expected given the precautions necessary. The spa was lovely, you have to reserve a time to use it privately due to Covid, which I think is a great idea. We reserved a parking spot for the car which I recommend because parking in Chamonix can be difficult. We hope to return both in winter and next summer.

服務很好,前台會盡可能地幫助存放行李和解答疑問。前台有提供免費的咖啡和熱水。酒店的窗景是很不錯的,抬頭就能看見雪山。
Hotel Vallee Blanche

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in early September. The hotel is perfectly located, short walking distance to everything in Chamonix. It is an older charming style hotel, with some upgrades like plumbing, elevator etc. The personnel was very nice and friendly. The breakfast for 12 EUR was a bit on a pricey side, but considering other options, it was a good value. It offered cereal, yogurt, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, jams , croissants, coffee, tea and of course delicious French baguettes. Any ending supplies were replenished in a timely manner. Our room was on the upper floor. It was quite small, but there was also a loft accessible via steep squeaky stairs with 3 single beds. It contained a fridge with few drinks for pay and free safe for valuables, but we could not make it work. There was sufficient space for clothing and other belongings. Bed was comfortable. The windows could be wide open and the river was flowing just outside. At this time of the year we did not need heating or cooling. Few negatives: The TV was way too small and placed on the table in the corner. Could not watch anything. Besides that, only French channels were available. The lighting was absolutely insufficient, needed flashlight to read anything. The wifi ******, especially in the evenings. The hotel provides a ”guest card” for duration of the stay, which is valid for all public transportation in the area, from Servoz to Valrocine. I think all hotels do that in Chamonix. Despite the negatives above, the hotel met our needs and we enjoyed or vacation in Chamonix.
Langley Hotel Gustavia

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a week. The location is excellent and the indoor parking, when you find it free, is really the top. We booked a superior room, very pleasant the recent restructuring and view but very small size ... more suitable to host a single bed than a couple .... Breakfast is a total disappointment: of course, cause covid, The buffet is not there, without asking anything they brought us a dish packed by them with a variety of things above, most of which salty, not of our pleasure. Absolutely dismissed this mode to serve breakfast without asking for customer preferences .....

Due to stay here at the end of the month, however due to new French restrictions we have been unable to go. Upon trying to get a refund, the woman was extremely rude and point blank refused, despite our reason for cancellation being out of our control. We accepted that we may not get a refund so attempted to change our dates. Again an unbelievably rude response which even resulted in the owner asking us why we can’t just ‘fly to Switzerland and cross the border in France’, among many other excuses as to why we could not even be granted a date change. After going round in circles, the owner eventually abruptly put the phone down as opposed to ending the conversation maturely and as you would expect a business owner to do! I totally understand how running a business in these times is challenging, however the responses and excuses given by the owner of this hotel and the way we were spoken to was disgraceful and completely unacceptable. If you value your money and want good customer service, this is not the place!
