Very good for a short travel

I arrived on 13th September and stayed until 19th September and had a truly marvellous stay. Reception was very welcoming and staff very friendly and more than happy to speak English because regretfully I do not speak French, always smiling and greeting no matter what time of day you were in or out. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, lovely decor, and great facilities including air con shower superb and although it seemed to be open to the room it could actually be screened off, room was serviced every day complimentary water on first day of arrival plus tea making facility. My room had a nice view out towards the Alps and the hotel itself is very central to the main centre and to travel to other places so a great location. There is a swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness room. Lovely small lounge downstairs behind reception with complimentary coffee. Would I stay at this hotel again, yes most definitely. I had a tiny room in this huge, impersonal hotel. For the price I was expecting a better experience. My room overlooked a very unpleasant looking car park. The canopy below my room was filthy, had rubbish on it and was unkempt. The window frames were mouldy, in and outside the room (see photos). At the restaurant I asked if I could have my meal in my room. They said yes but without specifying that they was an ”eat-out” With the exception of a very helpful and friendly man in the breakfast restaurant, the hotel staff were impersonal and ineffective.

It seems to be an annex apartment of a star-level hotel. If you arrive at night, you need to check in at the next hotel. The location is not on the main road, but at the back of the row opposite the train station. There are microwaves, kettles, and coffee machines. Electric stove, boiling pan, refrigerator, but no frying pan, no condiments, comfortable bed, generally very good, there are very few food around, Annecy is too expensive, so it’s okay to live here and pass by.

A peine arrivé vous paye tout votre séjour et vous comprenez vite pourquoi… 1 - Super bruyant ! Les portes qui claquent les télés des chambres d’à côté qu’on entend vachement bien, mais aussi les autres clients qui copule ! 2 - vous prenez une douche de 5min et la salle de bain est trempé d’un bout à l’autre 3 - menage limite 4- on étend les douches des chambres d’à côtés 5- les WC mon dieux qu’elle horreur d’entendre la chasse d’eau des autres clients toutes la nuit résonner dans toute la chambre avec parfois des gros bruits forcés comme s’il n’y avait plus d’eau 6 - 1 verre avec une petite bouteille d’eau pour 2 🤣 7 - nous avions une urgence à repartir car mon beau père a des soucis de dos et était bloqué (nous avions pas passé la première nuit) qu’il refuse le remboursement car soit disant réservation en ligne il ne rembourse pas chose qui n’était pas le cas nous n’avons pas payé en ligne, mais la dame a répondu aucun hôtel ne rembourse de toute façon, heu… lol en faite sisi…. Quand on répond mais si vous m’auriez pas obligé à payer il y a 1heure on vous aurait rendu les clés on aurait rien payé ? Et sa ose répondre oui… Enfin d’un point de vue heureusement qu’on a pu trouver quelqu’un pour l’aider.. Je n’ai jamais payé un hôtel le premier jour…. Une honte… Et encore on est juste heureux de ne pas avoir pris la formule petit déjeuner… 10h30 les tables vident avec encore les plateaux déjeuner sales sur les tables… Enfin en bref lieu à fuir Je préfère payé 1 chambre 20€ de plus mais isolée et avec le service qui suit, annulation etc…

The location is quite good. Just by the lake, the balcony is full of mountain and lake views. The front desk is closed very early. There is no one at 8 o'clock. Need attention. In addition, the air-conditioning operating system is complicated. It is best to ask the hotel in advance.

The word ‘budget’ often means basic. There was no water bottle in the room. There were no pictures on the walls. There were no coffee making facilities. At day’s end, you get what you paid for. Check in went smoothly. To access your room [and the building later at night] there is an access code. The quirky bit was a bunk bed installed perpendicular to the main bed. I am sure in the dark people have hit their head on it, forgetting it was there. Let’s say a design flaw. There is a small television, desk, chair and mirror. The bathroom is all in one room, a hair/body wash dispenser for use. The best of the room was a very comfortable bed and a not so thick duvet. Not a sound sleeper, I had a good 5 hour stretch. The wifi was generally good. It is not password protected. The breakfast was rather basic but between the breads, fruit salad, yogurt, juices and coffee making there was enough. Overall the place made for a decent stay.

2e visite en quelques semaines. Les chambres sont grandes, aérées, propres, le balcon est agréable (pas de vue sur les chambres voisines). Le côté parc est plus agréable que le côté route (même si l'insonorisation des chambres est bonne) ; il correspond aux chambres paires. Hammam très grand qui aurait besoin d'entretien (des carreaux manquants et d'autres descellés). Piscine intérieure agréable, car délaissée par les clients (qui préfèrent s'entasser dans le jacuzzi ou la piscine chauffée extérieure). Salle de fitness vieilissante (il faudrait penser à entretenir les machines qui rouillent du fait de la proximité avec le spa). Petit déjeuner trop répétitif (tous les jours absolument les mêmes prestations) ; manque de fruits frais (soit trop durs, soit en fin de vie, pas de bananes juste pommes, kiwis et oranges), pas de légumes, charcuterie de qualité médiocre (épaule plutôt que jambon blanc, uniquement accompagné de jambon cru), ainsi que les jus de fruits. Fromages fades. Grand parking gratuit et sécurisé. Compter 20 minutes pour rejoindre le centre ville à pied.
