SSisiluoZhejiang Ningbo welcomed its first autumn holiday, and among numerous destinations, Beijing was our definitive choice – the trip felt like a 'great northern migration of Zhejiang people'! Before departing, flights from Ningbo to Beijing soared to unaffordable prices, and high-speed train tickets sold out instantly. We eventually settled on a plan to transit overnight in Nanjing. Before the trip, I was stuck in a hotel selection dilemma: aiming for an international brand within an 800-yuan budget, but most started at 1200+ yuan, often without breakfast, which was way over budget. Ordinary local brands didn't appeal, and even slightly better-located ones like Atour or Orange Hotel Crystal were 800+ without breakfast, offering rather poor value for money. Luckily, during the 11.11 sale, I snagged a deal for Wanda Realm on Ctrip. I booked two nights to test the waters, and to my surprise, the stay exceeded expectations. The night before, we had stayed at a certain international brand hotel in Nanjing, but the experience was quite disappointing. The lobby was on the fourth floor, and the bellhop left us at the elevator entrance. With two kids and a pile of luggage, no one offered a helping hand. The front desk staff, perhaps because we used a discounted rate, grilled us with questions like we were suspects. In stark contrast, upon arriving at Wanda Realm, a doorman immediately helped us with our luggage to the front desk, handing us over to the lobby concierge – a deaf-mute young man who stood ramrod straight the entire time. He patiently waited for us to check-in, then, with a constant smile, delivered our luggage to the room and neatly arranged it. His sincere and enthusiastic attitude was a stark contrast to the previous night's coldness and instantly touched us. The hotel is indeed a bit old, so the facilities are inevitably dated. As soon as we entered the room, there was a pungent smell of cleaning agents. The housekeeper next door, hearing this, immediately brought several bottles of mineral water and helped open the windows for ventilation. Her warmth melted away all discomfort. However, there was a minor hiccup: returning to the hotel at night, we encountered outdoor construction noise. We called for service to close the window, but the housekeeping lady couldn't manage it and called an engineering staff member. Here's a small suggestion: it would be better if guest rooms provided shoe covers. To reach the window controls, the uncle took off his shoes and stepped on the sofa stool. For families with young children, there's a natural concern about hygiene issues like athlete's foot, especially since kids crawl everywhere. However, overall, the 4-day, 3-night stay slightly exceeded expectations: the front desk, concierge, and reservations department all provided professional service. You can feel the high staff stability and low turnover. This is the service legacy of a seasoned hotel.

GGuest UserThe location is a nice quiet neighbourhood in Beijing. The room was nice and had everything we needed. We went to the bottom floor to the spa which had two pools and you can even get a massage or do yoga there. The breakfast is mainly Chinese cuisine but they have bread, yogurt and fruit too. The staff don’t speak much English but you can get by with translating. The staff were very nice and helped us when ordering delivery.

RRoushuwoniuHaving visited Beijing multiple times, this executive apartment is hands down the 'most comfortable option I've ever stayed in'! The overall experience far exceeded my expectations, especially for family trips or long stays. ✨ **Key Highlights** 1. **Excellent Location**: Situated in a prime area, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding amenities. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists. 2. **Spacious and Homely**: The rooms are incredibly large! With a living room plus a separate dining area, it's never crowded for a family. You can spread out your luggage without any hassle, offering a much warmer 'home-like' feel than traditional hotels. 3. **Compact yet Quality Gym**: The gym downstairs is exclusively equipped with Technogym machines. As a brand enthusiast, I felt very reassured, and it's perfectly adequate for daily workouts. 4. **Attentive Service**: The overall atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. The front desk was responsive, and the check-out process was very smooth. ⚠️ **Areas for Improvement** 1. **Facility Maintenance Needs Attention**: Some facilities are slightly dated, and a few rooms had flickering lights due to poor contact. Regular inspection and maintenance are recommended to enhance the sense of safety for guests. 2. **Inconsistent Mini-bar & Welcome Fruit Replenishment**: The mini-bar wasn't restocked daily, and welcome fruit was only provided on the first day. As the length of stay wasn't certain, I had to place separate orders for drinks and fruit during my 3-night stay, which should have been automatically replenished. This was a minor inconvenience. 💬 **Summary** Despite minor flaws, its excellent location, spaciousness, and home-like comfort completely outweigh any small imperfections. It's especially suitable for families traveling or guests needing a 'temporary home'. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Beijing! Looking forward to an even more perfect experience after facility upgrades!

AAnonymous UserChoosing the Regent Hotel for my business trip was absolutely the right decision! As a five-star hotel, it truly delivers on luxury, making for an excellent experience. The location deserves a special mention; it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. It's just a short walk to Metro Lines 1 and 5, making travel effortless. Right outside the hotel, within 100 meters, there's a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options that you'll be spoiled for choice – all your retail and food needs are easily met! The room itself was an even bigger surprise. It was exceptionally spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view, and relaxing there while enjoying the scenery was incredibly comfortable. The facilities were also comprehensive. The pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable; I slept soundly straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed. Breakfast is also worth highlighting. There was a wide variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, with plenty of choices, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. I also want to especially thank the staff. They were enthusiastic and polite throughout, always thinking of the guests' needs, and providing truly attentive service. They definitely deserve a big thumbs up! I had such a pleasant stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

2206290****I forgot to use Ctrip's room upgrade option when booking, so even though it was off-season, when I asked the front desk if they could upgrade my room, they just gave me one on the 7th floor, which was slightly higher. The room really wasn't big, and the mini-bar items weren't free. However, the daily cleaning was quite thorough; they'd change the bathmat and tidy up personal belongings. The location is truly excellent, very close to Dahuaishu, Siji Minfu, Zengshengkui, Heiyaochang, and Ziguangyuan, all within walking distance. For places with long queues, you can get a number and go back to the hotel to wait.

MM303531****This hotel is great for a weekend getaway with kids. Juyongguan Great Wall and Shuiguan Great Wall are nearby, with Shuiguan Great Wall being closer and less crowded, though a bit challenging to climb. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pleasant environment with individual villas dotted up the hillside. Our room was quite far, so we needed to drive to the lobby and restaurant. The hotel also offers many family-friendly activities. On our second morning, we participated in a valley hike, which was essentially a mountain climb – it requires some stamina. There were also quite a few downsides. Given how spread out the rooms are and how far they are from the lobby, one would expect butler service, but there was none. Moreover, it was very difficult to get through to the front desk from the room phone. For a self-proclaimed 'family-friendly hotel,' there weren't even children's slippers in the room. After finally getting through on the phone, it took an hour for them to be delivered. Why weren't they provided directly at check-in when they saw we had a child? The room itself was fairly large, but the bathroom lacked air conditioning/heating, and the shower was open-concept. This design might be fine in Sanya, but in Yanqing, showering at night was absolutely freezing. There was also water pooling, and when staff came to check, they said it was because the floor drain was too high, and nothing could be done, which was a bit frustrating. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was good, albeit a bit pricey. We also ate at a farmhouse restaurant down the mountain where the iron pot stewed fish was delicious – I forgot its name, but it had “Tell Old Mo I want to eat fish” written on the wall. Despite the downsides, it's still a good place for a weekend with kids. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a children's splash pool, which were closed due to the cold weather. We'll definitely bring the kids back in the summer.

까즈미Great value for the price—this hotel exceeded expectations. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee/snack lounge was a pleasant surprise. Though it’s slightly away from the city center, the amenities and pricing make it a smart choice. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserI was in Beijing for a business trip and stayed in Sanlitun. I chose the Intercontinental, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I checked in, GRO Chloe's warm welcome showed incredible sincerity – proactive greetings, thoughtful service, and attention to detail were all top-notch. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The location is also superb, right next to the giant outdoor screen, and super convenient for shopping and getting around. For someone like me with a packed schedule, it was truly fantastic. The staff were always available and responded quickly to any request. I even received a lovely welcome gift from the hotel, which was a really sweet touch. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this place again. I've already recommended it to friends; it's truly worth experiencing!
