The Aman Summer Palace is like living in a fantasy. If you love the Summer Palace but want to avoid the crowds this is your choice. They have their own private gate. The staff are so friendly and the service is just amazing. I would give them more than 5 stars for service If I could. I am an executive for Resort development with Universal and I got a lot of great ideas during my stay. It is very quiet and peaceful and especially at night. I also had one of the best massages I can recall with a Shifu massuer. I am not sure what herbs he was using and I was dubious at first; but the proof is in the results. You just have to stay here at least once in your life!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly easy to access all the key tourist spots. There are also tons of food options nearby, which made exploring the local cuisine a breeze. The hotel itself provides free breakfast throughout the stay, which was a lovely touch and super convenient. But what really stood out were the staff members. They were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to address my questions immediately, making me feel truly taken care of. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

There is a sentry on duty at the gate. Guests need to enter with their ID cards. I don’t know why I couldn’t swipe it (there will be an answer in the third point). The sentry checked it repeatedly and asked a lot of questions. Finally, he looked at the Ctrip booking record on my phone and reluctantly let me in. 3. Arrived at the front desk. After checking, the staff said that they did not see the record of my booking through Ctrip, and then asked me a lot of questions. Finally, I was asked to rest for a while and asked the leader whether I could check in. 4. Finally checked in, and I also knew that the front desk had entered my ID card information, and I had to bring my ID card when entering and leaving the gate of the compound. 5. After dinner that day, I successfully swiped my ID card + facial recognition to return to the hotel. … 6. After dinner the next day, I returned to the hotel and failed to swipe my ID card. I was interrogated by the sentry again and asked to contact the front desk. I told the front desk that I felt that the front desk should be off work according to my experience of staying in the hotel the day before. The sentry hesitated for a moment and helped me call the duty phone, but no one answered. So I went back to step 2, showed the Ctrip booking information on my phone, and was allowed to pass. Throughout the whole process... the sentry, the front desk, and the guest were all very professional and cooperated with each other, without any displeasure!

The Orange Hotel has good facilities, it is very clean and quiet. The waiters are very nice, knowing that we brought our baby, they gave us a small gift 🙂 The breakfast is very rich, the dishes are replenished in time, and the taste is good. There are large supermarkets and good roast duck restaurants around 😁, it is also very convenient to eat, it is a good choice to go to the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan 👍

I want to live close to Peking University and Yuanmingyuan. This is a very good choice. The first feeling of staying is relatively biased, but the health and service are very good. It can make up for the defects of the first feeling. It is quiet at night and is generally satisfied.

We were given a room with cigarette smell and got changed instantly. Shower room and toilet are separated and spacious. Clean and comfortable beds, friendly staff and efficient service. MTR and bus stops are nearby and it was easy to get a taxi too. Will stay again next time.
