The room is underground and there is no elevator. I was exhausted carrying two large boxes down the stairs. The signal was not good, the wifi could not be connected, the traffic was even worse, there was a damp smell, and the sound insulation was very poor. In addition, the bathroom door cannot be sealed, and there is no way to separate dry and wet areas. The anti-theft chain on the door is broken, and the phone in the room is also a decoration. I have to run out to find the front desk myself. The sheets are torn. I can only say that the aunt who delivered the paper to me was really kind. She looked at me holding two big boxes and opened the door for me.

Service: This is the key point. The receptionist is really excellent. She speaks very casually and gives people a sense of intimacy. It may be because she is beautiful and has temperament! How can it be just because of appearance? Later, the TV had a signal problem, so the front desk answered the phone and asked us to try it ourselves. If it didn’t work, she came over to move stools and climb up and down to help. It really exceeded the scope of work of the general front desk, and her attitude was always friendly and patient! My son said that the auntie was so nice!

Facilities: Smart voice control to open and close curtains, turn on and off lights and TV. Smart toilet, bathroom shower and large shower head can be used together.
Environment: The room is clean and tidy and very comfortable. The room is equipped with room temperature water and ice water, which is really considerate in hot Beijing.
Service: As soon as I entered the hotel, a waiter helped to move the boxes. The front desk lady also kindly informed the location of breakfast and that I could check out one hour later if necessary. The takeaway robot ordered was delivered directly to the door of the room, and the phone was notified to open the door to pick up the takeaway.
Dining: The breakfast is very rich and the variety is very rich.

The duplex room booked, the sofa on the first floor became a single bed of more than one meter, just to satisfy a family of three, you can check out at 1 pm. The more uncomfortable thing is that the network speed is slow, and the others are fine. The last night, the child in the family was still noisy at 10:30 in the evening. Very close to the subway, when you go to Huguosi Street to eat, people are full. After checking out at 7 o'clock in the morning on the last day, you can also store your luggage. After climbing the Great Wall, you can buy special products and come back to pick up your luggage and go straight to the South Station.

My favorite hotel! We got a free upgrade to the room type and breakfast! Basically, I would stay here if I have something to do. It is very close to work. The service attitude is very good, the business room is quiet and comfortable to sleep in, the Internet speed is fast, and the office is convenient. The lady at the front desk is beautiful and generous, enthusiastic, proactive and efficient. The hotel has a free parking lot, which is large, safe, secure and awesome. The location is great and awesome! ! ! Will stay here next time! Love this hotel so much!

We recently had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The service stood out as being exceptional - although they spoke limited English, the staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were small but very clean and well-equipped, and the daily housekeeping was always a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day.
The first night, however, was a bit challenging due to a baby crying non-stop down the hall. The echo in the hallway meant the sound travelled quite easily to our room, keeping us awake. But this was an isolated event, and we enjoyed peaceful sleep for the remainder of our stay.
Breakfast was a delight each morning, offering a small but good variety of food items that catered to different tastes. It was a great way to start our day before venturing out to explore the city.
The location was not the most central but still very easily accessible by subway, taxi, or walking from the Shichahai area. It is situated outside the hustle and bustle of Beijing, providing us with a quiet, serene stay while still having easy access to the city.
Overall, despite the minor issue on our first night, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful! Only a couple of minutes from the Railway station, which makes day trips to remote locations with the train a worry free activity, the hotel and room were clean and the people were very helpful and positive, even through the language barrier.
The only things I would add to make it better would be a small fridge in the room to keep the delicious food fresh, a better/repaired shower head, because the current one was leaking horribly and more toilet paper, because you never know when you need it.

very cute and lovely hotel for a couple, front desk doesn't really speak english but with a little understanding of chinese u can easily pass through it. you're also able to choose your room yourself and switch rooms every single day to check the others out. bathtub was really nice, sadly in one of the rooms the bathtub was slightly broken as the water was more room temp. theres also a mirror on top of the bed, which was interesting. the area wasn't bad and it was just easy to get around. will definitely go here again!

Great value for money. Staff are always very attentive and ready to help if you don't speak chinese. It's clean, and they have regular cleanings every day. The washing and drying machines are free, so you don't need to worry. There is not a lot of socializing in the lobby, but that is just normal in most chinese hostels.
Very good place, not too close to everything to avoid recurrent crowds, and not too far to avoid commuting for long.

AAnonymous UserWe really enjoyed our stay at Manxin Hotel. The room was very clean, although we did not need much help from the staff, everyone was very friendly and kind.
The location is amazing - walking distance to the center attractions (Forbidden City, National Museum, Tiananmen Square). Everything else you can reach by using Metro. The station is located within walking distance from the hotel. There are loads of food and shopping options at Wangfujing street, there is a food market at the metro station, as well as Beijing apm mall which we used a lot for food.
Great value, amazing location, we will be coming back!

JJulian PeensThis is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay.
STAFF
The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu.
FOOD
The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass.
ROOM
The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too.
POOL AREA
The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some weeding around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful.
BAR
The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this.
ROOFTOP
The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.

DdyhxMy first Orange Hotel stay and it's exceeded my expectations. Being a local chain known for its budget style, I was imagining Ibis type but it turned out much better. The hotel looks old from the outside but this being a newly opened one, everything inside looked clean and modern. Smart lifts where my room level is automatically detected once the card is scanned. I got a smart room that's controlled by Xiao Du小度 (their equivalent of Siri / Alexa). I had fun commanding Xiao Du to adjust the aircon temperature and switching on/off the TV, lights and even the curtains. They also have a food delivery robot and provide free self service laundry facilities. There's a small gym here which I didn't use. The room is a little small for 2 pax but more than comfortable for 1. The standing shower and toilet is separated and both of good size. The bed is firm and pillows comfy. Bottled water, mini fridge, tea bags are provided. Basic shower amenities are also provided, along with a pack of disposable toothbrush and comb at check in. I like the open wardrobe concept and they provide many hangers here including the clip ones. It's a rather basic hotel in general but certainly value for money. There are also quite some eateries along the street just a few mins walk from the hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I visit.

The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM.
The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM.
The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.

Very friendly customer service even we want to take a taxi we have no app to order taxi the customer service help us to go out to the main road and help us stop a taxi and get us to airport. GGuest UserThis place is super convenient for family traveling with elderly and also toddler. It is well-equipped with washing and drying machine for laundry. The cooking hob & knob are provided too but there was no pots and pans provided in the unit for cooking. I didnt find out further if we are allowed to cook inside the unit but when i went to level B1 for coffees (free!) i saw there was anoher kitchen which is bigger that has pans and pots (but very limited, I only saw 1 pan). The plates provided in the unit are only 3 plates without any bowls, which is quite restricted when we dine in the unit by ordering food delivery. However, we managed it by using the food containers from our delivery. We did not approach the front desk to ask for more plates and bowls though. So i am not sure if they can provide.
The front receptionist who work during night time during our stay is more warm and friendly than the rest. There was a morning shift staff whom I have not met, but heard from my family, that she gave a cute keychain to my kid, which i feel is a very lovely gesture.
Having read that some taxis refused to drive into the hutong due to its small and narrow road has caused me concerns when i did the booking, but fortunately all the taxis we got managed to wait for us right outside our apartment. Meaning that all are willing to drive in.
There are bicycle returning spots right outside the apartment which makes it so convenient for us to return the bicycles we rented using the online platform.
Outside the hutong, there are shops like eateries which make it very convenient for us. We even took our brunch at ”men ji mi fan” which serves very good ”mi xian”(noodles) that i was looking forward to when i am visiting Beijing.
My kid and elderly mum really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. They even enjoy chatting with the lady who cleans our apartment as she is really friendly and warm. There are 2 bathrooms in our 2-bed unit which again makes it super convenient for us during our stay. My kid loves the apartment as if its her second home.
We like the coffee provided free at B1 as the fragrant is really as good as those at coffee shops. We visited B1 entertainment room for a few times and chill there for a short while. There is a pool table and a gym room right next to it.
The stay is very peaceful and quiet throughout our 1 week stay. Reception and security guard are there 24 hours. There is even a postage room that keeps all our online shopping parcels which makes it very convenient to shop.
I gave only 4/5 for facilities due to shortage of cooking utensils/bowls in our unit. But other than that, there is nothing else that is short of our expectations.

AAH 86I had a wonderful stay with my little one.
The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and so patient when I had an issue checking in.
My daughter also took part in a cake decorating class during our stay and she thoroughly enjoyed.
The pool was quite large for hotels in Beijing, and the gym met needs.
Yael on the front desk, Andy for in room dining, Paolo and the team at Dacappo restaurant made our stay comfortable down to the last detail. The breakfast had enough choice, and the in-room dining portions were generous.
We will be recommending to friends, but will also come back again 😃

TTess BeijingVery dated for a 5* Hotel, especially the TV. Didn't feel like a 5* hotel compared to others we have stayed at in Beijing.
Highlight was the bath. The aircon did not work properly and was a very uncomfortable stay with it being too hot in the room.
Don't think we would stay again.

AAnonymous UserAircon didn't work, have to suffer in a stuffy environment for 3 days. Was told that the aircon system broke down for awhile and they didn't fix it. No daily clean up service provided, items in the room were not changed although cleaning was provided. No solution to the problem was provided by the hotel, had to do everything by yourself. Location was good 3 mins from the subway although entering the street can be troublesome as there is a security counter at the entrance of street and had to use passport to enter.
