Batu Gajah Hotels & Accommodations

Centrally located and clean hotel. It was value for money. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was there with 4 friends and we really got to know Batu Gajah and it’s surrounding towns. Mr. Yip the hotel owner took us to the places of interest in his Toyota Estima and he was so knowledgeable. Had it not for his hospitality and kindness to ferry us all over and even to savour some of the famous local delicacies we would not have had such a great and enjoyable trip. Thank you very much Mr. Yip!

Opened in 2023, the 1 Day Car Hotel - BG Perdana is a great accommodation choice in Batu Gajah.With Ipoh Railway Station just 14km away and Ipoh Airport only 15km away, transportation is very convenient. Seeing Batu Gajah's sights from this hotel is easy with Masjid Toh Puan Besar Hatijah, Batu Gajah, Galeri Rumah Lat and Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Resort all close by.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Batu Gajah hotel features parking on site.

I booked this hotel at a very reasonable price, considering its location, facilities and comfort. It is strategically located near some popular makan places (about 5 mins drive away) like tong shui street, main town where they sell popular chicken rice, souvenir shops and pasar malam. The room was clean and neat, comes with a bath tub! Had a comforting bath after a compact day in Ipoh. Basement parking was free. I would recommend this to friends and anyone who wants comfort stay and convenient when travel.

Great place, the design of this hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. Hotel was very accommodating of the request for the special occasion. Location is convienent to get to most attractions or central places. Albeit minor cleanliness in terms of dust it isn't an issue at all. TV is slightly difficult to navigate and is not a smart TV so this is something to note. Overall is very worth the price point, highly recommended!

(CNY stay with my 7mo baby) I'm sorry, but I originally intended to complain about the long queue for breakfast. However, I changed my mind after observing how friendly the waitresses were, even though they were very busy. Unfortunately, one disappointing encounter with the room service staff made me leave a negative review. When I called the room service and asked for help in freezing my ice pack so that I could store my breastmilk in the car when I travel back home, the staff member told me that there was a chiller in the room. I explained that the chiller couldn't freeze the ice pack, so I needed the hotel's assistance. To my surprise, the staff member asked me to pack the ice pack nicely and bring it down to reception. It was already 10:30 pm, and I was in my pajamas with my 7-month-old baby. I had to wake her up and carry the ice pack all the way down to reception. In addition to this negative experience, I also had to queue for breakfast with my baby on both days. I thought that they should open a hall if there weren't enough tables for the guests, but the waitresses were still friendly and welcoming, even though they didn't have a baby chair for the first 10 minutes. Despite this, I never thought of leaving a bad review. I was disappointed and saddened when I had to walk all the way down to reception at night with a baby, and I don't think that guests should have to do that.

Parking are convenient with just a few step to Hotel main entrance. Great welcoming from front desk. Thanks to Christin Loh for time showing us the wonderful art on the lobby area. Few picture taken by us and family especially at one of the art with Harimau design wall. Enter the room with neat bed made up and clean environment. Warm and cozy design with black wall but brighten by light in the room. Entire one night stay was not enough will definitely came again for the next visit to Ipoh. Thanks Christin and Team.

Feedback Check in - no proper registration (reg card) - can't remember their names.. 3 ladies with hijab (upon inquiry n verbal booking via walk in around 11am + & upon checked in around 3:15pm) - At 6pm+ when i'm about heading out for dinner, only realized n i asked is there's any reg card i need to sign, then only she gave me the reg card to be sign. (Ms Dines if not mistaken were at the counter that time & sorry if i'm wrong. Friendly & have the welcome gesture when guest approached counter. keep it up!!! ( Those who upon booking n checked in, just a humble reminder from a sister that is in the hospitality indusries too. Once at counter, just smile no matter how bad ur days are.. I've been there, still there n still counting.) & again as we r aware.. registration card/form is the most important things upon guest check in.. #hoteliersforlife Between 9am to 9:10am - sidewalk level 4 (heading to breakfast area) - on the way to bf - staff is not approachable - just a small gesture won't harm even there's a direction. (smile/greets) Between 9:15am - 9:30am - Condiments for porridge, nasi lemak & finger food were not replenish (boiled eggs, anchovies & chilli sauces) - Staff chatting at bar counter - guest in & out but still didn't do any replenish. - Juice no option - Fruit platter (orange looks dry) - Guest not yet done with their breakfast, staff already collected the plates & cutleries. (not mine but table next to me & my mom). I believed f&b team were given proper knowledge on how n when to collect it.. Always alert whether guest done or not.. - check out smooth - system hang (thing's happened) truly understand 🙂 - perhaps can practice to asked guest as a reminder (safebox cleared/valuable items all taken, etc) it was my first stay at D Hotel but couple of times for my mom n dad. I ain't complaint. Just a small feedback as a guest that work in hotels too..

As always, Travelodge never fails to deliver. Love staying here because it is clean, spacious room and good service. Reception lady Man Yee is very helpful and friendly. On the day we checked in, the hotel had the lion dance ceremony 💞💞

Never regretted booking here. Rooms are clean. Rooms are spacious. Only issuebis the narrow car park and the limited spaces. But apart from that, this is my go to hotel in ipoh. As a couple or a family or even business, you cant go wrong with excelsior. Rooms come with separate bathtubs and shower . Excellent hotel
