The pillow is splendid and feels like our Tempur pillow back home, providing the firm support that our necks need. The TV system is a smart one as we are able to choose “do not make the room” on our Home Screen. Netflix and YouTube are available too, providing us some entertainment for us who are non-Japanese. The water pressure is good for shower, and there is sliding door that separates the the bedroom and the bath/toilet areas. The buffet breakfast is worth our money as we find everything is so systematic. Every staff knows exactly what to do, and it is not chaotic at all. A food spread that can match a 5-star hotel, which includes grilled scallops, grilled mackerel and salmon, and even crab meat omelette for your dining pleasures. Great stay at Hotel Torifito! The lady who served us was extremely helpful. It was raining when we checked in and she helped us bring our baggage into our rooms and offered to lend us umbrellas! She also told us to park opposite the hotel for more affordable parking! (1100 yen for 24h). The hotel room was very new, bright, clean and spacious too. There was no big dish due to the influence of the corona, but the menu was rich and I was able to enjoy it slowly while watching the Otaru Canal. On the other hand, dinner was prepared for two nights this time in the inn. It was very delicious, but it was a little disappointing that there were few meat (rather than saying it). It may be a cherry blossom that you think about the age of 60. It is a room. This time I made a room with a balcony. I didn't go there to do something there because of the snow, but I used it to cool a little up the bath or enjoy the scenery. The old building, which was renovated from the former Otaru Chamber of Commerce, has a small room, but was it a meeting room for economic people in the past? I thought. The breakfast buffet venue on the 3rd floor has a high ceiling and a retro chandelier falls. You can imagine the social gathering place of the Otaru people when they were prosperous with herring in the past. I've been grateful.

we made a short trip to Otaru to visit some of its good izakayas, we took a room with 4 beds, it was a nice surprise the distribution of the spaces in the room. Our room had two almost separate areas, in the main area two beds and a couch, the second area was a small terrace with the other two beds, the access to the terrace was a staircase in the room. the terrace was a very pleasant space, even though it is not possible to stand in the terrace area because the ceiling is very low, the terrace gives an air of independence being in the same room, each bed has its space to recharge the cell phone and has an independent lamp. our room had an elegant glass balcony with a beautiful view. the shower area is very elegant with a fairly modern and clean design. the television system was fun too, our room had a projector with a very good video quality I really liked my stay at the hotel and I hope to stay there again soon

Hotel has a nostalgic feel. Stayed at top floor corner unit which has an excellent view of the canal. Room is spacious for family of four. Location is great with easy access to various sights.

This is a hotel I stayed for a family trip. The location is good, it's clean, and the staffs are nice and friendly. However, I was disappointed with the low ceilings and narrow bathroom in the room. The furniture lacks cohesion and appears mismatched. It seems like a room renovation is needed.
