The best accommodation. The family is super attentive and will always help you, with a smile. There is a breakfast of coffee/tea, omelette/pancakes/nasi goreng/mie goreng and fruit that is served every day at the time you indicate. The room is modern and the wifi works perfect. Everyday they cleaned us the room. They helped us book the Batur trekking and the boat to Nusa Penida and Gili Trawagan at a much cheaper price than everything we found out. On top of that, a family member was getting married so they invited us to the wedding and lent us clothes, it was incredible to experience. It is located 10 minutes by motorbike from Ubud. Super recommended, we stayed 9 nights, the best in Indonesia.

We book a villa with 2 bedroom. First room has bath tub + shower room, for 2nd room shower only. The first room very very nice, big bed & very soft. Including private swimming pool, and have outdoor living room, dining table & small kitchen set. The villa price is affordable compare to another nearby. I stay on November which is on wet weather, so on night time have a lots of laron, quite shock on the morning because I experienced the outdoor full of laron 😵💫 But the helper come to clean it away directly when we ask. It’s ubud ~ we blend with nature living.

Bali has a lot of beautiful hotels from the rice fields of Ubud, to the beaches of Nusa Dua, the cliffs of Ulawatu to the busy streets of Kuta. I've been to Bali 3x and tried 4 hotels and by far this is the best hotel I've booked and lucky we did. It exceeded our expectations way beyond we can imagine. We went off season in early December so the hotel is not fully booked. We felt it's our own private villa - the privacy is spot on. The hotel is about 20 mins from Ubud Center and 1.5 hrs from Denpasar. The price is really affordable for our standard room at just 80 SGD per night plus breakfast. We took a private car going to hotel and coming back we took the hotel's free shuttle service from Ubud Palace. The lobby is amazing - spacious, clean, and refreshing. The hotel's décor is Balinese with a touch of European design. The yellowish white marbles were very shiny and elegant. They even have a Grand Piano which I tried and a Balinese Gembalan. The lobby itself has an amazing view of the jungle and the river Ayung that runs through it. The check in is fast and quick and we got amazing Pineapple fruit juice and cold towels provided to refresh us. We were booked in the 1F just right from the lobby and our room is standard with a King size bed and free breakfast. The room is ginormous - feels like an apartment. Like the whole hotel, the decor is Balinese/European inspired and the floors are made of marble. I really love the Balinese woman painting in our room. As you enter the cabinets to your left has a safety lock and slippers are provided. The mini bar has coffee/tea/complimentary bottled water provided and it has mini ref. To your right stands the might toilet which has tub, toilet and sink and it is massive. Toiletries are also provided and i really love their frangant soap. The tub, which is very big/clean and easy to fill-up water and toilet bowl has divider. The water pressure is really strong. The TV is placed in a cabinet and it has both local and cable channels. The wi-fi is really fast compared to other hotels I've stayed in Bali. The study table is really posh and elegant specially that lovely lamp shade. The King size bed is really clean, comfortable, soft and relaxing - 4 pillows provided and it has power outlets and lampshades on both sides. White/Yellow Plumeria Rubra which is really very fragrant. Situated beside the bed there is also a chair and side table and complimentary fruit basket provided on our first day. To top it off the balcony really seals the deal - a complete bird's eye panoramic view of the Ubud rainforest and the River Ayung, Bali's longest river that flows throught it. There is a river rafting actvity on this river and I could see the rafts and the cheering tourists on it - really unique experience. An abundance of birds are also endlessly flying through this forest. The pool is really the crown of this hotel. Absolutely incredible stay! Fantastic staff - especially at the restaurant recommending dishes for us etc, room service was incredible and well priced, pool was beautiful with great views. Don’t listen to people complaining about the location, no it’s not in the centre of Ubud, but how would it be and be in a wonderful setting in the jungle too? 10/10 would recommend, even as five star hotels go this is very up there. (They gave us a free room upgrade too). Wild monkeys can be seen too but don’t take over the resort, deer on site, they buggy you from the restaurant to your room, free afternoon tea and activities also on daily!

The hotel is conveniently located near fabulous restaurants, cafes and shopping at market stalls and a short walk to some great shops. It was a short walk to the beach however with two fabulous pools with swim up bars, why go elsewhere? The rooftop pool had 360 degree views and great for sunset shots. The main pool has a jungle wall and slide! Our room was clean and spacious and we loved the housekeeping including small treats left for us. The breakfast menu was extensive and did not disappoint. The restaurant on site was fabulous. Great special nights and a place to watch the world go by! I loved the complimentary sunrise yoga class on Fridays and the spa salon was divine! Enjoyed 3 different treatments during my 6 day stay. Special thanks to all the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Sintya Lisna who was so welcoming at Reception and talked to us about special events celebrated throughout the year. Thank also to Gusti, our driver who gave us a wonderful day in Ubud. Could not fault the hospitality.

Great location and very friendly staff .. they do everything to make guests happy … clean beach and quit a lot of chairs .. housekeeping is amazing especially Aldino that made all the request perfectly right … breakfast could have some improvement on hot section since everyday is the same .. pastry is quit good as well as crapes idea .. still quit a lot of variety .. .. food in other restaurants is quit ok but portions could be bit bigger for the price .. the only flow is that there is way too many mosquitoes around so one can’t sit outdoors after 6:30 pm which is really pity especially that there is nice restaurants at the beach with music .. they need to buy some outdoor fans and spray daily .. one does not have this problem in Jimbaran .. the only reason I might not consider going back is mosquitoes!! They bite like crocodile … bite places are swollen and achy!!

Had a 6D5N stay at Courtyard on the ground level. The room given was located close to both swimming pools (Courtyard and Marriot Vacation Club). Breakfast was plentiful though there were times when there was a shortage of cups for coffee and had to wait or order with staff. Unfortunately, during the first night, since we were staying on the ground floor, we kept hearing knocking, dragging of items across the floor, above us from early morning till 5 plus am. It made our sleep very uncomfortable and having flown in on that day itself, and due to the lack of sleep, we felt quite tired the very next day. We made an immediate feedback to the Okin. Noise persisted on 2nd night. Thankfully, the following nights were bearable. Suggestion that Courtyard management should consider placing a carpet to minimise the noise level. Special thanks to Okin who handled the situation professionally after we feedback about the noises. Okin personally checked in on us daily to ensure everything was good. Others not forgotten were Bagus (who taught us how to make a bracelet and played the ball game near the pool bar), Kezia and Yuli (at pool bar). Everyone serving there always has a smile on their faces and it made our stay at Courtyard a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Internet is extrem slowly and ist impossible to do anything useful with it. The Pool and pool bar are closing at 8pm!!! Which is more than ridiculous and the main reason, why I won’t book that hotel again. Bathroom design is not well planned and the double function door will wetten the whole room, each time when used, toilet seat half loosen and fall one sides into the toilet. On top many lloud Chinese in the morning and an alarm clock isn’t the room, which can not be deactivated and wakes you up every morning at 7:00 with a loud „no radio signal“ sound. , breakfast do not have cheese or salami or any sausage choice and the ordered eggs arrived every time so late, that we were already done. ! The Free given Drinks are only alcohol free All over all, and even the staff was nice and extremely friendly, I would not suggest that hotel, if you like to use the pool and have a proper western breakfast.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

My family and I have stayed here on a few occasions as well as other 5-star resorts, but we prefer Movenpick. The architecture is appealing from the outside to the inside. The rooms are large and well appointed with a large Bali bathtub, natural stone accents and color palette. Linens are luxurious, which include down comforters and oversized pillows. Service is superior to most Bali resorts. From the personal interaction with Maicel at the front desk to the servers in the restaurant & pool side bar….all creating a memorable & personal stay. Thank you Movenpick employees. We’ll see you in a few months for another great experience.
