|2.3km from downtownI don't even know how to begin... overall, the service staff were very friendly. We knew the hotel was old so we were expecting the worst but got a newly renovated room instead and that was nice. But the renovation felt incomplete with a number of issues / poorly done, and weird things like a very very rusty shower soap rack (because it's clearly newly renovated, why is it rusty???).
Amenities wise there's a hair dryer, 2 bottles and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Nothing in minibar. Room was spacious, but the safe was spoilt and way too small (barely can keep iPad level small). There's only one door lock and no extra chain lock on the door. I mean I didn't feel unsafe unsafe but at the same time I knew it was not really safe.
The water turned a bit brown for about 3 minutes the first night (we suspect rust?) but didn't appear any more after. Drainage was okay but can be improved. Towels were stained and bedsheets not pristine.
It's beside a school, so expect some noise if your staying in the morning on weekdays.
There was also an air freshener in the room that went off every hour (literally every hour throughout the night) but I'm pretty 100% sure there was nothing in the air freshener.
The weirdest part was the outside of the hotel - not the hotel property itself but the road leading up to it. It seemed completely abandoned and like it could collapse anytime.
Overall - would not stay again but if no other choice, can make do. Paid about $160 for 3 nights.

|0.12km from downtownDear,Managent In charge I can say that Iam quite a regular in city central and Iam writing due to my unpleasant stay and treatment from 1 of your staff I eloberate a small build Chinese lady with a stuck up and rude outlook and respond to guest frankly let me give the management my point of view if this lady don't know how to respect guest and smile I guess she don't belong to the Service Industry. And I believe the management are not on the ground to see this problem so as a guest I pay and not staying city central for free so I demand a small respect from your hotel staff as Iam a guest .But for the pass few days this small build Chinese lady wearing city central uniform really piss me off as if she owns the hotel ,higher management please look into the matters as if this staff keep on having her attitude problem towards guest she can spoilt city central good names from the outlook of a guests perception.Management should take note about this matters seriously before the situation get Bad for your hotel outlook and please send her for a hotel course so she can learn to respect guests in future . |1.23km from downtownThe hotel is in the batam center, about 40,000 to the ferry terminal, 70,000 to nagoya, 90,000 to the airport, the hotel is cheap, the breakfast is very simple, there are several restaurants in the east of the hotel, the surrounding is not very rich.

|0.38km from downtownVery efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

|5.56km from downtownview was great, it’s the kind of view that you wish to wake up to every morning. private pool and the place was overall quite clean as well. buffet breakfast has a wide spread of cuisine and food (mostly local food though). the only downside is the location and the security. since the place is very far off from the city, if you were to go back late at night, the road to montigo is super dark, no street lights at all so i would recommend going back early. finding a grab to the city was always relatively hard, took quite some time. the main door of the villa is see through and not really secure so just lock your bedrooms at night :)

Hotel is quite old, and some of the facilities are quite worn out. But overall is still good for this price point.
Location is good too. Walked straight out and you can locate numerous restaurants.

|0.57km from downtownI had the Greatest nights in Nagoya Mansion Hotel & Residence, everything is close to Perfect! When i arrived on the first day, i was quite early for Check-In hence i recheck my booking and was actually rewarded for Diamond's Tier Early Check-in. The receptionist upgraded my room from Deluxe to Executive! So nice of her to actually hear my Request upon arriving. Will definitely be back for longer nights!

|1.16km from downtownIt was good before, hence coming back. However, in my opinion, the service is not up to standard now.
The cleaning of room is only upon request and I was not made known.
The room allocated was with no window and too small even for a solo traveller (i need to walk side way and no space for my cabin size luggage).
Loud sound from early morning (630AM local time).
Probably will not be back again. But the location is definitely a plus point.

|0.78km from downtownFirst experience of staying here, and it was quite satisfactory. Choosing this hotel because of its strategic location (it happened that this trip to Batam did not take a private car as usual). Arrive at the hotel at 11 o'clock and it's nice to have a room ready (Grand Deluxe - 2 Queen Beds) even though the consequences are not suitable for City View special request; if you want to stay City View, you must wait for this check-out time normal. But it's OK, the important thing is that you can go straight into the room because the little guy fell asleep again. The reception staff is quite friendly, although it may be more friendly, but yes, yes, it's okay. The lobby is clean, cold and as its name suggests; this hotel is indeed vanilla flavor! For the Grand Deluxe 418 room is very ”worth it” for 350an (tiket.com plus redeem TIX point as big as 124ribu-an ).. the room is quite clean, quite spacious with 2 queen size beds, a lot of hangers hangers provided (and i'm so glad for that! ) clean bathroom, 2 pairs of hotel slippers provided; which is not expecting to get hotel slippers because budget hotels usually don't drink yak ... to Grand Mall, Sushi Tei, Pak Raden, just walk. There are also many food around the hotel, Alfamart next door, and a delicious durian shop! Until this review is written, I haven't tried the atmosphere of the rooftop and the breakfast (it's 3 am in the morning FYI ) but I hope it will be just fine! Overall with a price of 350 thousand, Grand Deluxe room, very satisfied! Recommended hotel for those who do not bring a car; because parking is a bit difficult ya. Keep the good work, Vanilla Hotel!

|5.55km from downtownIt was our first time at Turi Beach and the overall experience was somewhat different from Telunas. We didn’t have a good encounter in our first room. We felt an eerie presence in the room and asked for a change the next morning. In the new room, we had an issue with the hot water. The water was brown. Fortunately, house-keeping wasted no time to attend to our request. Anyway, it was an OK experience.

|0.9km from downtownOld dated hotel but can stay. Try booking using the hotel website. They will get back to you via whatapps. 395K for standard room. But it was fully booked. So recommended to take grand superior room at 475K IDR. It is manageable to walk to peniun market area and A2 food court and grand batam mall. About 10 mins +-. Gojek from Marriott hotel (gojek shelter) cost 26K IDR to this hotel. There is a specific go jek shelter pick up point nearby Marriott hotel area. Just need to keep a look out. If can should book artotel which is a newer hotel compared to hotel 89.

|0.22km from downtownDecent hotel at a good location in Nagoya Hills. The room is spacious, but we were give a smoking room which we did not like. The floor was a bit dirty as well, but overall cleanliness was fine. Beware of the traffic noise which can be quite loud as hotel is along the main road and where motorcycles park.

|0.42km from downtownChecked into superior double room facing roadside upon arrival to Batam. Room was big enough for 2-4 pax (would need to add extra mattress), however, it was dimly lit for a huge room, aircon was faulty, bedsheet have some stain, towels are questionable and toilet/bath is not very clean. Told reception about the faulty aircon and staff went in to check. Confirmed faulty (which receptionist is apparently aware of the issue already beforehand). Got transferred to a twin room which seemed better. Well lit, working AC and bathroom is still so so. One of the beds still got visible stain.
About to have dinner outside the inn, booked Gojek only to find out last minute that room door is unable to lock from the outside (note that from the inside, there is a working double lock, but I’m giving feedback from outside the room). Auto lock is faulty, hence I’ve tried to close the door and check several times to give it a chance but to no avail. Told the receptionist again and was informed that they will change my room the following day. Next day, I’ve decided not to go out of the room as the receptionist told me the booking is full and no other rooms available. Staff will just come and rectify the lock.

|2.53km from downtownAP Premier is one of the oldest hotel in Batam Indonesia and was known as Novotel in the past. The hotel was one of the top grade hotels in Batam when I stayed there 20+ years ago (yr 2001). Although there are many hotel options now days in batam but AP Premier is still my favorite place to stay when visiting batam for business trip recently. The hotel location is good to me. It is very near to ferry terminal, Habourbay (in fact within walking distance) and Nagoya, the old town center where most of the tourists from Singapore would like to visit. The hotel public area is quite spacious. The breakfast selection was great. Room is clean and comfortable to stay. Hotel service is awesome especially the front desk team like Miss Wani and Mr Dona are exceptionally helpful.

|1.33km from downtownBooked superior room again. The room size is great. But unfortunately this time, we tried to store our medicine in a fridge and freezer. They told us, they do not offered fridge storage service anymore, only able to assist with freezer. We were really disappointed. If you needed such services, pls do reconsider on this hotel booking. And I seriously thought that the 3 stars hotel standard should be reevaluated. And the room door sound proofing is really bad as well. So at the hotel room corridor, when they are guests talking loudly, you will be able to hear it clearly at the room.

|2.55km from downtownStayed between 12 - 14 Dec 2022. The hotel is about 5 mins walk away from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. There are 2 Circle K across the hotel and the stretch of seaside restaurants (Wey Wey, Alco) is about 2 mins away. Nearest supermarket, Go Go Supermart is located approximately 5 mins walk away from the hotel, located beside Swiss-Bell Hotel and underneath the defunct Harbour Bay Mall. Hotel's Front Desk is friendly and able to communicate in English. I was asked to consider upgrading my room at a special price (~S$9) as the room I booked was small. I agreed since the offer was much larger and came with a balcony. Regrettably, my room was only ready at about 3.30pm, 30mins after the check-in time at 3pm. My Room (207) is in a slightly run down condition with uneven floor tiles, cracks and paint peeling on the walls, water ponding at the toilet drain outlet next to the toilet bowl. The cleanliness is bad too with stains on the covers of the bed, pillows, blanket. The furniture surfaces in the room and balcony were dusty. Water pressure in the shower was adequate but the hot water only lasted for about 5 mins. Bath towels were unavailable during check in and only available at 4pm according to Housekeeping. I left for dinner at around 5pm and the towels weren't delivered yet. Thankfully, they were there when I came back. The view on my balcony was partially obstructed by the hotel's signboard as it is located directly above the hotel's arrival lobby. The corridor was dark most of the time with only lights at both ends. During my stay, I've only encountered the lights for the whole corridor switched around 7pm only on one evening. Breakfast is provided Sweet Corner Restaurant at Level 1 of the hotel between 7am to 11am. The food was simple with options of rice, noodles, porridge, white bread with condiments. Style of the staples and complimenting dishes varies daily. Eggs can be ordered from the staff. Choices available were Sunny Side Up, Soft Boiled, Omelette. The options for beverages were tea, coffee, and orange juice made from highly watered down concentrated syrup. I also have 2 of my lunches there; once while waiting for check-in and once before check-out. Staff were not eager to serve though but still gets your order right. Waiting time for my lunch to be served was about 10 mins. Located at Level 1 is also Alamanda Spa & Massage, which offers various types of massages and spa treatments. They have a beautiful section on the rooftop of the hotel but it could be only used for the higher tiered packages as I was always led to the rooms at Level 1 twice for my Tradition Full Body and Totok Wajah massages. Grab can pick up at the hotel. Please note that Grab are not able to pick up passengers at the Ferry Terminal and some Hotels and Shopping Malls. You might have to walk a distance away from these locations to board. Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall and Batam City Square Mall (BCM) have dedicated Grab Points at the Pintu Timur (East Entrance)

|2.22km from downtownUpon checking in, we were asked to pay 400k Rupiahs if we insisted to have a double bed to replace the twim bed for the husband and wife because our reservation was a cheap one by the Trip.com. If this is the case, we may book our rooms on ourselves and pay higher for what we want. However, we just topped up with cash in order not to be separated at night. The entire hotel looks quite tired for age although they had renovated the main lobby. In the Trip com booking system, we paid for breakfasts for 4days, during the 4 days, we were served a set breakfast instead of buffet service with our understanding of no other room guests taking breakfast in the hotel or the hotel has no room guests except 2 of us. Overall stay was alright with no further comments as we would like to try some quiet areas little bit far from Nagoya. Last question to trip.com is: will the service standard be lower when we use your service???

|3.77km from downtownI recently booked a room at Radisson Golf and Convention Center for a short vacation with my wife to celebrate her 65th birthday. We stayed from December 1st to December 3rd. The check-in process was swift, and the staff were excellent and very friendly.
On the morning of my wife's birthday, during breakfast, the FB Team surprised us by presenting my wife with a birthday cake. The whole team gathered around and sang the birthday song, with the chef playing the guitar. It was such a heartwarming gesture that made my wife's day very memorable.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the staff at Radisson, especially the FB team, for going the extra mile to make our stay so special. The level of service and the attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations.
Thank you, Radisson Golf and Convention Center, for making our stay unforgettable!
