Hotels near Patong Beach, Phuket

Great place to stay. Staff Daniel and David were very helpful. We got to the villa late in the evening. Daniel came right away from the office and checked us in promptly and setup breakfast service for next day. ACs in all bedrooms and two of the rooms had the view of the Big Budda. Nice quiet neighborhood. Fans on the ground floor to circulate the air through the ground level. We had car so it was very easy to get around and only 5 min drive to beach. Very nice daily cleaned pool at the villa. Also we were allowed to used the infinity pool with a nice view of Kata area from top and gym at Kata hill’s other location within 5 min of the villa. Daily breakfast was delicious and made fresh infront of you the in the kitchen and cleaned up throughly after breakfast was done: very clean place and lots of space to move around inside for our family. included a washer right outside of the villa for private use . Master bedroom has a nice sit out place, can use some chairs and table. Private gated parking infront of the villa and plenaty of private safe parking outside as well. Very nice sit out space in front of the villa to eat meals and just hangout or work with nice table and chairs. Overall great stay. WiFi works well throughout the villa.

The reception is basic and run down. Initial thought embrace the jungle theme. The trek to our room was long with many steps, not the picturesque route imagined. We went through a very large run down wooden area, maybe a closed cafe. Initially the room looked perfect from the outside. When they opened the door the smell hit us, like a smoke den. So strong you could taste it. Honestly never been in a room anywhere with such a stench. Requested a move which happened promptly, not a problem. When we got to the next room the outside ashtray had been hidden under the table and the room sprayed with eucalyptus to mask the smoke. We requested to move hotels. Our agent couldn’t get us a move for two days which we agreed to. Hotel refunded agent no problem. The rooms have very dark furniture and are very dark. First night in the room I was bitten everywhere. Spent a month in Thailand and not a single bite. This was ridiculous When we met the agent in reception she commented on how many bites I had, yes from last night. The room was sprayed later that day. All our luggage ( waiting to move hotels) was moved. One bag shoved in a cupboard we didn’t know existed leading us to believe we had lost a bag. The whole experience was a nightmare. Breakfast was ok. Limited selection, cold fried eggs Coffee very good. We were shocked that this was the “rock” restaurant in the night. Thank goodness they didn’t respond to our two booking request months earlier for my hubby’s birthday, It really doesn’t deserve the hype. If you are disabled, have problems walking or children this isn’t the resort for you. Our first room had large pebbles on the floor all around the bath in the middle of the room. Not enough room to walk around them. The second room had a large shelf at the side of the bed, why? You needed to get in and out of the bed half way up to avoid knocking yourself. They did offer free evening meal at a local restaurant that they own. Food and service very good, only plus. We had come from a 5* hotel and this was supposed to be a 4.5* something very wrong with the rating system. Would never return. Hotel we moved to, same rating, fabulous! Booking again.

The hotel is located in the middle of the mountain between Patong and Karon Beach. When traveling, you must call a taxi or rent a motorcycle in advance. The rooms should be newly renovated, the staff are friendly and very quiet. Each room is independent and similar to a small villa, with a balcony. You can see the beautiful sea view, and you can see the beautiful sunset in the evening. The breakfast buffet area is simple bread, fruit and drinks. Others need to be made to order, which is very delicious. (If the room includes breakfast, these are free), Highly recommended if the budget is sufficient

To be honest I am sad that I can’t put 5*stars for this hotel, but everything being “out of order” I can’t do it. I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there. I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. The receptionist was very nice and I was able to stay with peace of mind. They are available even late at night. I also appreciated the fact that it was within walking distance of the beach at this price, and that they provided two bottles of water for each cleaning session. There is also a safe deposit box. Shampoo and body soap are provided, but hair treatments, toothbrushes, basic cosmetics for women, etc. are not provided, so we especially recommend that women prepare everything!

Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

Extremely nice staff! Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to have a feeling of acceptance, community and home (far from the one you mostly live in) The party street is nearby, but not close enough to interrupt your rest. Perfect location for party people :) If you are not one of them, (I'm definitely not) you can ask an owner to move you to Karon to another guesthouse he owns. Very cozy, quiet and cheap.

This evaluation should not be commented because I did not check in and said that the room was full. I booked it on Trip.com. Can't I book it? It is estimated that the price I booked is less than 150 and the boss put the room out. The reception staff let me talk to the female boss and I will check. In and check out a few words of English that are not accurate. The boss's English is to apologize for the room. I can't stay in a hurry. I'm so anxious. I'm really anxious. I can't use translation software during the call. The boss said that I will pay for my call. I don't do it. Where did I go at that time? Looking for a hotel during this period of time, the hotel in Phuket is more expensive than one. I just called my english is bad and I was going to find Trip.com. The 9 words started with it. It was useless. The other was actually Thai. I was going to unload the happy card and install the domestic card. It is estimated that the buddy saw that I was really anxious and responded to the situation. The female boss and the boss adjusted a room. I heard that the man had another hotel in the Thai English cavity and immediately calmed down. another hotel ok i follew you followed him into the door. The steamer-like two-cart kept saying hot hot. The man asked if China was not hot. I said my hometown is winter now very cold I want to say how much below zero. Said that the Thai also said that my English is good, too much, but because of the blessing of the disaster, upgraded to a homestay. The environment is really good. There is a big bathtub under the floor-to-ceiling window. There is also a balcony facing the back mountain. I used the hotel's hot water bottle to burn 5 pots of water and washed a half hot bath. The kettle is overheating and cannot be protected continuously. It takes a while to cool down. It takes too long. The hot water is not enough.

A great place, aside from the road - quiet and quiet. Clean and comfortable, the hosts are beautiful, the pool is good. To the nearest cafe five minutes, next to the supermarket 7-11, washing machine and everything else. To the beach 20 minutes walk, but at the hotel there is a moped rent for 250 batts a day. The houses are good, in the evenings it is great to sit on the dormitory and listen to the local fauna )

Great hotel! Great staff, helped with everything you need. Booked few trips with them and is was very good! Best experience for your money. Rent a motorbike nearby and whole Phuket is yours!
