Reserved the Deluxe Seaview Room for 5D4N with my husband. From check in till check out, the service was exceptional. The receptionist (Mon) was fluent in english and escorted us to our room on the 5th floor. Unlike other hotels around, there’s an elevator in this hotel so you don’t have to worry about climbing the stairs. The bellboy also helped carry our luggage into the room and load our luggage into the car when we check out. Lobby: Cozy, with many sofas, pool table & foosball table. Room: Spacious room with partial sea view from the balcony. It also feels great to sleep on the cozy king bed after a full day tour. The TV only has cable channels, but we’re mostly outside so it wasn’t much of an issue. All the light switches & alarm clock is by the bedside which is very convenient. Smoking: They provide ashtray to smoke on the balcony. Bathroom: Spacious & clean, with bidet spray. Shower area & bathtub is separated. The water heater is easily adjustable and heats up very fast. Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel & toothbrush is provided. Breakfast: Buffet style breakfast with Asian & Western cuisine. If you’re a muslim, do note that there are some pork dishes. You can avoid eating the porridge/bacon/meat. Surrounding: The hotel is situated on top of the hill away from the hustle & bustle. Hourly shuttle van to Kata Beach is provided for free. It’s possible to walk to the beach as it’s only 5 minutes away. However the slope is quite steep. There’s so much to explore while walking. Kata Walking Street & Karon Plaza/Beach is within walkable distance from the hotel. There’s also restaurants, ATM, minimarts, clothing stores & bars nearby. Central Phuket & Jungceylon is around 20-30 minutes by car. It takes about 1-2 hours to get here from Phuket International Airport depending on the traffic. Activities: VR games, yoga, cooking class & underwater scooter rental are available at additional cost. Staff: Very polite, friendly and fluent in English. Always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant staffs are very service oriented & housekeeping did a fantastic job in making up our room everyday. Cons: Insects on the balcony, especially lizards at night. Just close the balcony door & it won’t enter the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Patong Beach
A great place to stay. Once you get your bearings, you can walk to anywhere really. Fantastic pool area. Plenty of space to swim and get a day bed. We never missed out. Plenty for everyone. Good drinks at the swim bar. Thanks to Som, a bar staff who was very friendly and engaging. Helpful. Special promotional deals plus happy hour. Very good breakfasts. You have a large choice that changes daily. Special mention to Josef the chef, and Si the egg cook. Pool food service and room service really good value. No guilt there Spa provided incredible massage packages, very, very reasonable. Rooms good. Clean. The hotel is about 15 years old. But holds itself well. Good restaurants around. Of course all of the Thai staff are wonderful, friendly and obliging! Shame how some tourists treat them so arrogantly and disrespectfully. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend. It's considered to be central Patong Beach.

Patong Beach
The staff at the hotel were great - they were warm and friendly and the customer service was superb. The manager Nicholas was a very cheerful Frenchman who spoke very fluent English and was quite helpful. The staff were basically Thai and they were typical examples of friendly and welcoming Thais. We came with our children and they were good to our children. I am glad the hotel is not in Patong, where it is said to be full of middle-aged, fat, bare, painfully expressiond “Europeans” who lie on the beach all day long until their skin looks red or chocolate. Norfolk Hotel is in a very civilized place! Thankfully. I would never have gone to Phuket had we not had children. I prefer places with a less commercial Thai atmosphere, such as Koh Chang. Other reviews have mentioned the steep slopes of the Norfolk hotel in the past, but the steps are easy to walk and I climbed up quickly. Strictly speaking, if you have difficulty going up and down the steps, it means you are unhealthy. However, the mountain has other problems. My child's stroller can go down the mountain slowly, but up the mountain requires a hotel shuttle to transport back. The tropical heat makes climbing very difficult. If I don't have a stroller, I climb the steps every time. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and the waiters here were very friendly. I would be happy to tip the staff at the hotel. Because I feel the quality of the service here is worth my tip - the service here is not as bad as the UK or the US. I have two things to complain about. One is that the pound was in a bad situation and the exchange rate was terrible, so I couldn't splurge on it. But with a baby and a four-year-old couldn't save. The other is that the kids club was too small. Really need to expand and add entertainment. I am still very disappointed with this. Other than that, the hotel is very good.

Stayed here for 2 nights, the check in process is very fast and my room was ready just right in time. Maimoon is the best! She helped me all the way! The room itself have enough space and the view at night is very stunning. The rooftop bar is soooo cozy. The breakfast is superb all food are warm. I had a problem on my last night the electricity suddenly shut down, as I informed reception since it’s very late night I expect to have some delay however I didn’t wait that long engineer arrived and told me that cannot be fixed after 5 mins HK and even FO staff helped me to change the room. I wasn’t able to get their names since it’s late night. Overall I had the best experience and will surely comeback!
