The host was responsive and helpful in ensuring smooth check-in and out. The location of the apartment building is good, within walking distance to CIQ, city square mall and other shopping areas. The 2 bedroom apartment we booked was clean and neat. The unit smells good too. The only complaint we had was the aircon in the living room being too weak, too old and not cooling. As the windows and balcony sliding doors were huge with great views of the custom check point, the sunlight and heat coming into the unit was unbearable, the aircon does not provide any comfort at all. Luckily the aircon in the bedrooms were working properly. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable to use. The lift is clean and not crowded at all, so going in and out was a breeze.

Neat hotel at an affordable price. Stayed for a night as we had a morning flight to catch. Conveniently located across Komtar Mall. So many eateries available in Komtar or City Sq. I appreciate the quick check in and check out service. The room was very clean and equipped with TV. You can access YouTube, Netflix etc. Bed was a little hard, but I will take that anytime as long as room & bathroom is clean.

Our room enables us to access the executive lounge and we loved it ! It’s quiet and we are able to enjoy the snacks and beverages provided . I loved their breakfast buffet as well . Malay and chinese cuisine are nicely done . It’s our first time staying in Amari and we will definitely be back again !

Good location, just a little noisy from the bar downstairs and soundproof not that great (can hear neighbour / upstairs moving chairs sound. A bit of a bummer was that I have asked to setup sofabed given my booking was for 3pax. However, it was not done when we checkin at night, so extra manual work to do. (I’d wanted to rest immediately as I’d informed host I’ll be checking out super early next morning)

The communication with the agent over the agent was a challenge . Took me a while and some trouble to liaise with them . However , once able to liaise with them then it okay but had to pay for roaming calls😖. The check in instruction given was direct and straight forward. Need for a deposit of 300 RM . The internet connection provided is smooth and steady and the amenties provided are basic . There are 3 bed provided 🙂 Given a chance , will i still book again ? Yes … yes if the rates are attractive .

Easy to check in and host was really pleasant. However the apartment wasn't really well maintained. The couch was unstable and the toilet smelled of sewage. Wifi only worked in the living room area, which was really frustrating. Wifi was also unstable.

I stayed at KSL Hotel & Resort for a short one-day trip, and overall it was a pleasant experience. Even though my stay was short, it was still a nice spot to unwind. Overall, KSL Hotel & Resort is a solid choice for a quick getaway — convenient, comfortable, and good value for a short stay. Super spacious hotel! I was glad I chose this over an airbnb option. It was really near CIQ, but I would still suggest taking a Grab to the hotel. It felt very safe and clean. Their in-room dining service was great and affordable. I might even say better than cafe food around! Their garlic parmesan fries are so good, I would go back just for that! I extended my stay through the hotel direct and they almost charged me 100RM more. I had to show my booking confirmation from their reservation team just for them to award me the price they quoted. It was gracefully settled so no issue, but just be careful and check what you’re paying for!

The location is great as it’s very near to JB Sentral. However, my experience there was really disappointing TT First, when I was about to shower, the room suddenly had a blackout… The staff took quite some time to fix the electrical issue :’) Then, in the middle of my shower, the water supply was cut off! TT I had to just stand there in the bathroom waiting for the water to come back… and when it finally did, there was no warm water at all. Can you imagine how cold that was…? 🥶 Oh ya — there’s no parking around the hotel. But you can park at the private open parking near the police station (RM20 per day) or at Wisma Vasty (RM16 per day).

Very convenient location You can find various of foods (especially those run by China Local like hot pot) massages and convenient store by walking distance. Aeon Bukit indah and 24 hours Mc Donald located nearby too. The room consider cheap for solo business traveler like me. I might give it full star if the wall paper beside bed can be change to new one. Otherwise tidy and clean. Washroom is clean too, which is very important. Wish they can upgrade their water pump cause the water shower pumping water too slow 🤣 24 hours reception counter and security. Overall 4.3/5.0

Check in process was a bit of a hassle. Had a hard time connecting to the admin staff who did not respond to my phone calls. Their instructions given very vague & had to spend almost half an hour wasting time searching for the lift lobby to access the apartment. Worst still, the stay was also disrupted by the leakage of the bedroom aircon unit … water dripping sound disturbed my rest throughout the night. Other than that, location was convenient as R&F Mall just downstairs & minutes away from CIQ.

The service provider was attentive to the administrative details - some of which, were rather complex. Though the external building block appeared pretty rundown, the unit that we stayed was exquisite in furnishings for a very comfortable stay. No food was provided but the two canteens within the compound offered economical and nice food at great convenience.
