Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

This hotel had been on my 'favorites' list for a while, so my expectations were quite high. After my stay, I'm a bit disappointed. **Facilities:** The hotel has a gym, kids' room, and entertainment room. The kids' room is quite basic and unsupervised. The entertainment room, with billiards and table tennis, is decent. The gym was empty, and the equipment was new; the changing rooms were excellent. The cocktails at the lobby bar were pretty average, but the live singer was good. The breakfast buffet had limited variety and the taste was just okay. The Chinese restaurant offers group deals, and the food was acceptable, but nothing special. Honestly, there aren't many good dining options nearby, so you're mostly stuck with the hotel's. **Hygiene:** The room environment was fine and quite spacious. Be careful with mosquitoes – don't leave the door open easily. When they provided children's toiletries, there was no mouthwash cup. I hope they can include one in the future, as glass cups are quite dangerous for kids. **Environment:** Overall, the hotel's environment is very comfortable and great for photos. **Service:** The service isn't quite up to par. Staff members aren't very enthusiastic when they see guests. The shuttle bus driver was great and very nice. Generally, the staff members I encountered weren't very friendly. For a hotel in this price range, I feel the service awareness is a bit lacking. **Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets & Sightseeing Car Tickets:** This saved us some money, and the shuttle bus drops you right at the scenic spot entrance, which is very convenient. **5 Digitally Retouched Travel Photos (requires advance booking):** The photographer was very nice, and the photos were ready quickly. He also provided good 'emotional value' (meaning he was good at making us feel comfortable and happy during the shoot).

The service was absolutely amazing! The cream puffs at the luxurious and exquisite sea-view afternoon tea were so delicious, we wanted more before we left, and the manager was incredibly kind and gave us two extra servings for free! The sea view from the room was absolutely stunning, a truly premium beachfront view. Sitting by the sea and feeling the breeze was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast noodles were the best we'd had in two days, much better than several popular influencer spots! We even asked for a second helping.

The experience at Lijiang Pullman Resort was absolutely fantastic! The Naxi-style architecture, coupled with the snow-capped mountain views, was breathtaking; you could see the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your window. The garden courtyard was tranquil and elegant. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Rita provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options. It's truly an excellent choice for a Lijiang vacation, five-star recommended!

The resort is spacious, with attentive service. We booked the Hot Spring Superior Twin room. The perks included were very thoughtful: the stocked mini bar, access to the hot pool, breakfast, and airport transfer. We communicated mostly via WeChat. Front desk was attentive, helping us arrange a daytrip driver to Ruili, and sorting out places to eat. Although the place is away from the city centre, it is equipped with a restaurant and massage parlor nearby. The closeness to the airport and the noise may be a concern for some.

Went with friends to see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon. After days of searching, I finally chose Luye. The moment I wheeled my luggage into the room, I knew this trip to Lijiang was going to be perfect. It instantly erased any feeling of unfamiliarity, turning me from a 'traveler' into someone who felt 'at home'. In my book, a perfect vacation is one where you can 'waste' all your time at the hotel, and Luye delivered. The hotel faces the snowy mountains directly, so you can see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' as soon as you open the window. No matter how late it was, there were always staff available to assist us. After checking in, we wanted to go explore Baisha Ancient Town and have some rice noodles, and the hotel provided a dedicated buggy to take us there. Fresh fruit, afternoon tea, and sweet soup in the evening were provided daily. The front desk ladies were beautiful, kind, and lovely, and the manager was gentle, generous, and charming. Phase two is currently under construction. I'll definitely bring my family back next time! 🪵💕

Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle. This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help! My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!

The store is located in the Honghe Water Town, the city tourism complex project in Chengnan District, Maitreya City, with convenient transportation; close to the wetland park, green trees, quiet and beautiful; supporting commercial street formats have everything, mature and complete; The shower water temperature was slightly lower on the night of check-in. The housekeeper contacted the engineer in time to improve after receiving feedback. It is recommended to add non-slip mats or floor towels in the shower room, and try to make guides and souvenirs for customers around the local attractions. Although it is still a trial business period, the service enthusiasm process is smooth, the room is clean and tidy, the special storm hot spring and public pool experience overall exceeds expectations, and the quality and price ratio of local products is very prominent, it is worth choosing again.

The room's floor-to-ceiling window offers a direct view of the Lancang River, and you can even enjoy the river view from the bathtub! Watching the sunset cast its golden glow on the river in the evening creates an absolutely mesmerizing atmosphere, with the water shimmering beautifully. At night, you can even see cruise ships passing by – it's incredibly therapeutic. The room itself is clean and comfortable, the bedding is super soft, and the bathroom has a luxurious marble finish with a smart mirror that's perfect for photos. The minibar drinks are complimentary, and there are welcome fruits and local Yunnan tea. The infinity pool seamlessly blends with the river view, and the flamingo floats are fantastic for photos. There's also a suspended hammock where you can lie back, soak up the sun, and enjoy the river view – pure relaxation! Breakfast can be enjoyed by the pool, with both Chinese and Western options that are as delicious as they are aesthetically pleasing. The hotel's location near Gaozhuang makes it super convenient to get to the Starlight Night Market.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right across from Mixc mall and close to local parks and basketball courts. The hotel may be hard to find but I have attached a photo of the doors to go through, then go to the 25th floor. Pool was not in use during our stay which was a bit disappointing.
