Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

The hotel's guest services called a day in advance to ask about our estimated arrival time, if there were any elderly guests, and any special needs. It's clear the hotel really values guests' requirements. 👍🏼 The hotel environment is excellent, with good greenery, and staff are always maintaining it. Plus, every corner of the hotel is super photogenic! 😆 The front desk staff quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room for free! 👍🏼 They also explained all the important details clearly. 😎 The room was clean and tidy, with a great wet/dry separation and an amazing ambiance. I have to say, both the hotel's interior and the rooms are incredibly picturesque! 😛 The hotel breakfast offered both Western options and Yunnan's special rice noodles, and it was consistently good every morning. 😊 All the hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. 👍🏼 From the environment, cleanliness, facilities, to the service, my family and I were extremely satisfied. Choosing the MGallery was definitely a wise decision! 🌹🌹🌹

I booked a 76-square-meter apartment, and 76 is absolutely amazing! Cleanliness: Satisfactory, no obvious unsanitary corners. Service: Just average. No one helped with luggage, and the cups weren't changed during room service after my two-night stay. Facilities: The hot spring was great, the swimming pool was huge, the breakfast was just average, and the mini-bar was all portable. They generously provided a lot of bottled water. Summary: Suitable for families with children. 76 square meters is truly spacious! The airport transfer was in a large Mercedes-Benz van that could carry a lot of luggage. There's room for improvement in other areas.

Coming to Xishuangbanna in December was perfect weather-wise. On the last day of my trip, before flying back north, I decided to spend a day at the hot springs. I chose the Ganlu room, which has pure hydrogen sulfide hot springs – definitely a sulfuric smell, but after soaking, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and I slept like a baby. Besides the private bath, there are also three small public hot spring pools and one large one. The butler mentioned that this area was originally a hot spring site. In the Peacock Valley courtyard, there are about 5-6 peacocks and a little calico cat. Breakfast is complimentary, and the environment is very comfortable. The only downside is that the road to the village is quite remote; I thought I had taken a wrong turn at one point.

The InterContinental Kunming is located in the beautiful Dianchi scenic area, boasting stunning surroundings and first-class facilities. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful. We had the 218 RMB set menu at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and it was incredibly varied and excellent value for money. All in all, the InterContinental will definitely be our top choice next time we visit Kunming!

The hotel is right next to Huquan Ecological Park, offering a tranquil environment with lake views directly from the window and fresh air. The overall garden landscape is beautiful and perfect for photos. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful rest. The service was warm, attentive, and prompt, with thoughtful details. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Guests can also enjoy hot springs and leisurely walks, as the facilities are comprehensive. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the value for money is superb. It's an ideal choice for a vacation in Mile. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it!

The hotel is located next to the ancient town and just opened this year. The lobby has a stylish design and a fishpond, perfect for taking photos. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas. There's an elevator, the breakfast is good, and parking is free. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. The only drawback is that the air conditioner vent in my room wasn't working. I hope this can be improved.

The room's floor-to-ceiling window offers a direct view of the Lancang River, and you can even enjoy the river view from the bathtub! Watching the sunset cast its golden glow on the river in the evening creates an absolutely mesmerizing atmosphere, with the water shimmering beautifully. At night, you can even see cruise ships passing by – it's incredibly therapeutic. The room itself is clean and comfortable, the bedding is super soft, and the bathroom has a luxurious marble finish with a smart mirror that's perfect for photos. The minibar drinks are complimentary, and there are welcome fruits and local Yunnan tea. The infinity pool seamlessly blends with the river view, and the flamingo floats are fantastic for photos. There's also a suspended hammock where you can lie back, soak up the sun, and enjoy the river view – pure relaxation! Breakfast can be enjoyed by the pool, with both Chinese and Western options that are as delicious as they are aesthetically pleasing. The hotel's location near Gaozhuang makes it super convenient to get to the Starlight Night Market.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this boutique hotel. The pool was perfect to cool off in after a long drive and has a picturesque view towards the golden pagoda. Our room was perfect with a huge bath tub, and giant balcony overlooking the garden. I normally chose sleep over breakfast but I decided to join my wife, I was not disappointed - nice bread, sausage, noodles and freshly brewed coffee. The staff were extremely approachable and helpful, giving tips on the city and recommending places to eat. Finally, and most importantly- there is a fridge full of chilled German wheat beer, one free for each day of your stay! If the stay wasn’t perfect enough, this topped it off!

The staff was enthusiastic and took the initiative to help with luggage, introduce us to local specialties, attractions, food, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the night was very quiet and the bedding was very good. The hotel also had a free self-service laundry room. It was very convenient. The hot spring on the roof at night can eliminate the fatigue of the day. I choose this one for business trips here. The price is very high.

Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle. This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help! My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!
