Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

Coming to Xishuangbanna in December was perfect weather-wise. On the last day of my trip, before flying back north, I decided to spend a day at the hot springs. I chose the Ganlu room, which has pure hydrogen sulfide hot springs – definitely a sulfuric smell, but after soaking, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and I slept like a baby. Besides the private bath, there are also three small public hot spring pools and one large one. The butler mentioned that this area was originally a hot spring site. In the Peacock Valley courtyard, there are about 5-6 peacocks and a little calico cat. Breakfast is complimentary, and the environment is very comfortable. The only downside is that the road to the village is quite remote; I thought I had taken a wrong turn at one point.

The hotel's guest services called a day in advance to ask about our estimated arrival time, if there were any elderly guests, and any special needs. It's clear the hotel really values guests' requirements. 👍🏼 The hotel environment is excellent, with good greenery, and staff are always maintaining it. Plus, every corner of the hotel is super photogenic! 😆 The front desk staff quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room for free! 👍🏼 They also explained all the important details clearly. 😎 The room was clean and tidy, with a great wet/dry separation and an amazing ambiance. I have to say, both the hotel's interior and the rooms are incredibly picturesque! 😛 The hotel breakfast offered both Western options and Yunnan's special rice noodles, and it was consistently good every morning. 😊 All the hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. 👍🏼 From the environment, cleanliness, facilities, to the service, my family and I were extremely satisfied. Choosing the MGallery was definitely a wise decision! 🌹🌹🌹

This Shuanglang B&B, highly recommended by my friend, is absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in, I was stunned by the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake are simply breathtaking. Every photo I took turned out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot 📸. ✨ The butler service was incredibly thoughtful! They picked us up at the intersection, helped with our luggage, making our trip with kids so much easier and stress-free. ✨ They even offer free professional travel photography! The photographer was fantastic, and the unedited photos were already perfect. ✨ The public area's afternoon tea was gorgeous, breakfast was nutritious and well-balanced, and they even delivered heartwarming desserts to our room in the evening.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Pullman Lijiang Resort and Spa! We absolutely loved this hotel. The Naxi-style garden is elegant and tranquil, and our room was clean and comfortable. Rita provided excellent and attentive service. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the location is convenient yet quiet, creating a perfect vacation vibe. Highly recommended!

I booked a 76-square-meter apartment, and 76 is absolutely amazing! Cleanliness: Satisfactory, no obvious unsanitary corners. Service: Just average. No one helped with luggage, and the cups weren't changed during room service after my two-night stay. Facilities: The hot spring was great, the swimming pool was huge, the breakfast was just average, and the mini-bar was all portable. They generously provided a lot of bottled water. Summary: Suitable for families with children. 76 square meters is truly spacious! The airport transfer was in a large Mercedes-Benz van that could carry a lot of luggage. There's room for improvement in other areas.

This hotel offers premium service, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The breakfast extending until noon is perfect for those who like to sleep in while on vacation. The BBQ dinner is really substantial. Plus, there's a different complimentary dessert drink every night. The hotel lobby has a tea bar open all day (they even have red date and winter melon tea!). Throughout the hotel, there are comfortable sofas and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view, cloud shadows, and the incredibly pure sky – the scenery itself surpasses many attractions. The hotel provides complimentary one-on-one private transfer service to and from the airport, which was a pleasant surprise as we didn't have to wait at all. In the evening, there's a bonfire and dance performance. The staff, especially the proprietress, is incredibly thoughtful and a beautiful woman with great taste. I wish I could stay here indefinitely...

Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle. This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help! My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!

The store is located in the Honghe Water Town, the city tourism complex project in Chengnan District, Maitreya City, with convenient transportation; close to the wetland park, green trees, quiet and beautiful; supporting commercial street formats have everything, mature and complete; The shower water temperature was slightly lower on the night of check-in. The housekeeper contacted the engineer in time to improve after receiving feedback. It is recommended to add non-slip mats or floor towels in the shower room, and try to make guides and souvenirs for customers around the local attractions. Although it is still a trial business period, the service enthusiasm process is smooth, the room is clean and tidy, the special storm hot spring and public pool experience overall exceeds expectations, and the quality and price ratio of local products is very prominent, it is worth choosing again.

The environment: The room was thoughtfully designed and very spacious. There were welcome fruits, and the cold brew tea was incredibly delicious. The pool was absolutely stunning for photos! Every corner was perfect for a photoshoot! Especially at sunset, lying on a lounge chair by the pool was just amazing! Location: It's right in the heart of Gaozhuang, close to the Lancang River. It's just a five-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market. Breakfast: A mix of Chinese and Western options, well-balanced and with a wide variety to satisfy different tastes. The best part is that you can have breakfast by the pool, and the ambiance is fantastic! Such a great hotel! I took so many photos!

It's a designer hotel. The rooms are loft style, clean and nice. However, major minor points: you can not use the swimming pool in the evening, the staff is not really willing to look for solutions. We have bikes and they could not be stored ( only in an unsafe public parking outside). The (reception)staff did not really show any willingness to solve the situation..very different from other hotels in China, where our bicycles could each time he stored either in the lobby or in the room. Other minus is the difficult to find location: it's a hidden hotel,unknown by taxi drivers. Our conclusion: quite overpriced hotel
