Taking advantage of the New Year's Day holiday, I brought my family here to experience it. The festive events were rich and colorful, with parade performances, bonfire parties, and a fireworks display. Both the kids and adults had a blast! The concierge staff, especially the 'Da Ge' (big brother), provided incredibly warm and thoughtful service. It was a very pleasant trip!

The environment is superb 👍 fresh air, surrounded by greenery. The breakfast is very rich and delicious 😋. The room is spacious and soundproof. Soaking in the hot spring helps with sleep, it's very comfortable. Alvin at the front desk was very enthusiastic and meticulous during check-in, introducing the hotel facilities and various activities.

A great stay at the Zhongshan Hot Springs Resort. The breakfast was excellent and even included western food like bacon and eggs and French toast. Coffee machine made perfect espresso every time. The business rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot springs were easily accessible and not too crowded during the weekday we stayed. The gym had free weights, but was hard to find and most of the machines were broken or couldn’t power up (no elliptical or bikes, but the treadmill worked). Staff was very polite and responsive. Some were able to communicate clearly in English, although Chinese is clearly the preferred language.

The hotel's exterior is grand and minimalist, and the lobby is clean and bright with a warm and elegant decor. The lighting is soft, the air is fresh, and there's no harsh renovation smell or smoke odor – it immediately gives a relaxing feeling upon entering. The common areas are neatly arranged, with just the right amount of greenery, creating a quiet yet stylish ambiance overall. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk staff were enthusiastic and thoughtful, smiling throughout and speaking gently and politely. Afterward, it really helped alleviate travel fatigue, and my sleep quality was exceptionally high. The room's cleanliness was very thorough; the floors, tabletops, and windowsills were spotless, and there was no dust accumulated in the corners. The bathroom area was dry and clean, with the toilet and shower thoroughly cleaned, and toiletries were complete and neatly arranged.

This hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff).
There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.
Zhuhai Imperial Hot Spring Resort, a long-standing Japanese-style open-air hot spring in Zhuhai, has become a popular weekend getaway for visitors from surrounding areas, thanks to its unique Japanese ambiance, rich hot spring experiences, and comprehensive facilities. Here's a multi-dimensional review:
**Environment and Design**
The Imperial Hot Spring is centered around a Japanese garden style, with antique wooden buildings, traditional tiled eaves, and bamboo-lined hot spring pools creating a picturesque scene. When the red lanterns light up at night, the atmosphere is incredibly captivating, and every photo taken looks straight out of Kyoto. The park is lush with greenery, and the hot spring pools are nestled amidst the foliage, offering excellent privacy. The pool water is regularly changed (approximately every 4 hours), and its cleanliness has been praised in many reviews.
**Hot Spring Experience**
The open-air area boasts nearly a hundred unique hot spring pools, including the 'N' power of Six Blessings Soup, herbal baths, specialty wine baths, and fruit and vegetable baths, offering both health benefits and fun. The carbonic acid springs have fine bubbles, the traditional Chinese medicine pools exude herbal aromas, and the stone slab recliners provide a detoxifying and health-promoting experience, catering to diverse needs. Soaking in the hot springs at night is particularly delightful, enjoying tranquility amidst the starry sky and swirling mist.
**Facilities**
* **Dining:** The Grand Temple Fair buffet is a major highlight, offering unlimited freshly prepared dishes like Brazilian BBQ, charcoal-grilled oysters, and Cantonese dim sum, along with complimentary fruits and soft drinks, providing excellent value for money per person.
* **Leisure & Entertainment:** In addition to the hot springs, there are saunas, massage rooms (with Thai/Chinese therapists available), steam rooms, and a children's play area. Evening fireworks displays and interactive NPC activities add to the fun.
* **Accommodation:** Various room types are available, including Japanese tatami rooms and LOFT villas, some with private hot springs. The room details are meticulously crafted (e.g., Japanese-style bathrobes, wooden clogs), though soundproofing in some rooms could be better.
**Service and Value for Money**
The staff are generally warm and attentive, offering water and detailed guidance. The massage therapists are highly skilled, with the Thai stretching and hot salt bag services being particularly recommended. During the off-season, the per-person cost is approximately 400-600 RMB (including accommodation + hot springs + dining). Prices increase on weekends and holidays, but the overall experience remains competitive.
**Drawbacks and Suggestions**
During peak times, it can get crowded, and some pools are relatively shallow. There have been occasional service oversights at the front desk, so it's advisable to inquire about directions in advance. Families with children should pay attention to the child-free ticket policy, as some game activities have age restrictions.
**Conclusion**
Imperial Hot Spring Resort, with its core offering of 'exquisite Japanese service + diverse hot spring experiences,' is suitable for travelers seeking an immersive vacation and attention to detail. If you prefer a quiet, healing retreat or want a one-stop experience of hot springs and local culture, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Facilities: Stayed on a weekday during a cold spell, so there weren't many people. Soaking in the hot springs was very comfortable, and the aromatherapy oil in the room helped with sleep.
Cleanliness: Pretty decent.
Environment: The lobby would be more pleasant if it were a bit quieter.
Service: The front desk staff were diligent, and the auntie in the hot spring area proactively offered tea – she was very kind and polite.
It was nice to take a walk around the town in the evening and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The private kitchens at the nearby farmhouses are good too.

An excellent stay! Moving here from a crowded local hotel next door, I found this branded hotel to be much more reliable. If you prefer a quiet, less-crowded place for a family vacation with kids, or if you enjoy swimming, this is a great choice.
**Service:** The response time was quick, and they answered every question. The hotel isn't huge, but there's a wide variety of recreational activities. For families with kids, I recommend staying two nights to experience everything.
**Facilities:** I was pleasantly surprised to find that the outdoor pool uses hot spring water! For younger children, there's a mini-train, slides, and a ball pit. Older kids can enjoy go-karts, archery, a climbing net, biscuit DIY, and kayaking. Just follow the schedule. The mini-train stops running in the rain. The pool also has small boats and popular inflatable ducks available for use.
**Breakfast:** The food was delicious, especially the waffles. It wasn't crowded, so we could enjoy our meal comfortably.

You can tell a lot of thought went into the details.
**Amenities:** There's a stream nearby for fishing and playing in the water. On-site, you can barbecue, camp, have bonfires, experience intangible cultural heritage activities, practice calligraphy, and enjoy tea ceremonies. It's a rich and diverse offering, providing entertainment just steps away – you'll never be bored.
**Room Interior:** Equipped with a Laifen hairdryer, disposable bathtub liners, mountain spring water for tea ceremonies, both disposable and reusable towels, comfortable bedding, and a separate wet and dry area.
**Dining:** Breakfast was very rich and varied (I forgot to take a picture!), served in a nine-compartment style, with fruit and soft drinks in the fridge. For lunch and dinner, they can help you order from a local farmhouse to eat at the guesthouse, or you can barbecue directly at the guesthouse. There's also afternoon tea, which is exquisite and delicious, and the freshness of the fruit really shows their dedication.
**Service:** The service was very thoughtful. It was cold, so they brought breakfast directly to our room.
I'll definitely come again!

I stayed here for a while, and the room was very clean. The environment was also perfect for our vacation and wellness retreat. Downstairs, there's a convenience store, food stalls, and snacks. The beach is super clean, and my kids loved playing there. I genuinely recommend it!

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is our second time bringing the kids to Forest Sea Resort, and this time we chose the Ocean Family Loft Suite. My child absolutely loved the climbing net facility.
Playing in the sand and water on the palm-lined beach, riding electric boats on the lake, catching fish and shrimp, and having a blast at the indoor heated water park – it's truly a paradise for young children.
The room voucher included buffet breakfast and dinner. I have to say, the buffet dinner was even better than last year! The package deal overall saved us both hassle and money.
The butler service was very patient. Thumbs up to the hotel staff!
AAnonymous UserThe room offers an excellent view, absolutely stunning ocean views. The service from the attentive butler was truly outstanding, proactive and thoughtful, even bringing water to the room.
The environment is pleasant, aside from a construction site nearby. Despite the construction, there was no dust or noise, which was a huge plus. The hotel offers many facilities, but unfortunately, the sky garden was closed, and the rafting experience was canceled. We happened to catch a wedding during our stay, and there was a live singer at 8 PM. In the afternoon, at 2 PM, there were even deer around. I'd advise parents to keep a close eye on their kids as the deer can be quite energetic and strong.
I have two suggestions:
1. The sand on the man-made section of the beach is quite coarse, not as comfortable as the natural sand closer to the shore.
2. The Qiáo Shí Bar doesn't offer much of a coastal view at night. It would be much nicer if it had lighting, similar to the one in Bali, which really enhances the experience.
EErica StrolenFamily getaway
First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon.
Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched.
The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest.
We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing.
Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform.
Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming.
Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults.
We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee.
Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing.
Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.
GGuest UserSo quiet and clean! The butler service was excellent! We brought our own tea set for a '圍爐煮茶' (a type of traditional tea brewing around a small stove) on the balcony, which was incredibly pleasant and comfortable. The balcony in our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views. There's also a small outdoor balcony with a lounge chair, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The fourth floor has a private kitchen offering Cantonese cuisine, which you can order directly to your room! Downstairs, there's a common area for activities. We only stayed one night, but I feel like I could easily stay for several more next time! Highly recommend!

Very Good
LLion1130Located in the valley at the entrance of Conghua Street, the campsite is very large. The whole valley is full of lychee trees. It should be nice to come here in summer.
We booked a mountain stream tent, which is quite large. There are two 1.5 beds. The family of three slept very comfortably. There is a large hot spring pool on the balcony. It is very comfortable to take a bath at night.
The children went fishing. There are so many fish in the small pond in the campsite. They caught a lot of fish in one or two hours. It was very fun.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was excellent, but there were some oversights in cleanliness. A used tissue from the previous guest was found under the curtain in the corner, which hadn't been cleaned. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are mostly well-maintained. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn't cooling; the 16-degree room temperature directly gave me a cold. The hot spring was great, and it wasn't crowded at all at the end of the New Year's Day holiday. There was plenty of ginger tea and towels available.
The seafood buffet dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (under 1.2 meters) was just mediocre.
11366019****The kids had a blast and can't wait to come back for a third time! It's perfect for 5-12 year olds; they can play independently and even tackle more challenging activities like rock climbing. They keep saying they want to return!
GGuest UserThe family room was very spacious. Although the decor was a bit dated, the environment was great and it was kept very clean. The shower had excellent water pressure and hot water, which was a big plus! The hotel's overall service was very good, and they were very responsive to all our requests. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the rice noodles (肠粉) were delicious! The hot springs were very relaxing. It's a perfect place for the whole family to unwind. We'll definitely come again.
SShenzhenshanmoweiyunChecked in at night, and the lovely front desk staff upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise! We immediately went for a hot spring bath. Even though the weather was cold, the hotel's excellent facilities, friendly service, and high-quality hot springs instantly washed away our fatigue and left us feeling joyful. Waking up, we saw our upgraded room faced the pool, a lush lawn, and a serene lake with beautiful mountain views – everything was just perfect. It was the best scenery I've ever seen, a breathtaking combination of human design and nature's artistry. Absolutely stunning! Both breakfast and lunch were top-notch too! My mom and friends were all very satisfied. We'll definitely come back for another vacation if we get the chance.
GGuest UserAs a regular guest who has booked dozens of stays at Biquan, this was my first time using the Trip.com corporate app to book, and it seems there was a slight discount. Biquan's service, as always, deserves a 5-star rating. Front desk staff member Li Min always has my preferred room ready early and notifies me promptly, and she handles the check-in process personally and efficiently. This time, I also want to specifically commend Li Lijiao from the housekeeping department on the 7th floor of Ginza for her incredibly quick response to guest requests like extra blankets. Li Huidan at the buffet restaurant always proactively offers additional services like delivering hot food, and supervisor He Meiyan personally takes care of everything from reserving tables to queuing for food and even clearing dishes. The only downside, which warrants a deduction, is the cleanliness of the swimming pool. The bottom edges were covered in unsightly stains. I remember in previous years, I would often see staff cleaning the pool late at night from my room around 9 PM, without affecting its opening the next day, but I haven't seen that in a long time. Also, they should at least require swimmers to wear swimming caps, like other five-star hotels. I hope to see improvements on my next visit.
