I stayed for two nights, and the hostel itself was quite decent – the room was clean, the breakfast was okay. I also went on an organized tour to Muynak from the hostel. I was originally planning to go there myself, but the weather was so bad that I didn't risk it. In addition to the former shore of the Aral Sea and the ship graveyard, we also visited a typical old cemetery and a camel farm (although almost all the camels had gone for a walk, we did try some salted milk). We didn't get to see the Aral Sea Museum because the wind damaged a power line, and there was no power. I'd especially like to commend the conscientiousness of our guide and hostel employee, Atabek, who then took us to another museum – an ecology museum – but there was no power there either. And although none of this was his fault, of course, as compensation, he took us to one of the Khorezm fortresses (Gyaur Kala Khodjeyli) located near an ancient cemetery, which was also very interesting to explore.
Overall, I was very pleased with both my stay at the hostel and the tour.
