The hostel is still the same, clean and in a good location. It's not far from the metro station, probably a 10-minute walk. However, it seems to have lost some of its buzz; it was really quiet and empty on a Saturday, with no activities. Maybe it's the off-season. Anyway, I hope it picks up!

This hostel was the biggest surprise of my trip! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its unique atmosphere. The common areas are incredibly well-designed, with bookshelves full of travel books and guestbooks. In the evenings, everyone gathers around the projector screen to watch movies, and strangers from all corners of the world quickly become friends. My four-bed dorm was clean and comfortable. The mattress had just the right firmness, and drawing the curtain created a completely private little sanctuary. Hot water was available 24 hours a day, with great, stable water pressure, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. The attention to detail was impressive: each bunk had its own reading light, USB charging port, and locker. What truly stood out was the 'human touch.' The guy at the front desk was not only warm and attentive but also a 'walking map.' His hand-drawn guide was full of fantastic, less-crowded spots. This isn't just a stopover on a journey; it makes solo travel feel warm and gives a welcoming place to land in an unfamiliar city. I'll definitely recommend it to all my friends and will absolutely be back!

From various angles, I am quite satisfied with their home. You can turn on the air conditioner by yourself, unlike young couples who say they won't let you turn on the air conditioner. In addition, even the laundry room and the bathroom are air-conditioned. It's not very convenient to go to the bathroom in winter. The bathroom is separated by a wall, which is safe. The corridor and the door are directly connected to the wall, so there is no need to worry about someone peeping or worrying about its safety. Moreover, they all use credit cards. From many angles, I think the security of their home is the best among the youth hostels in Hangzhou. I also like their blackboard mode, which is super suitable for people who like to paint in winter. Their hair dryer only blows the clothes, so the clothes are relatively dry. They also provide washing machines, and those who like can come more. The mirrors are all bright. The makeup mirrors are smart and can turn on the light, which is very suitable for girls to put on makeup.

This place is okay but I had slightly higher expectations to be honest. Cleanliness is alright, they give you a bag with a small towel upon request, both to be returned. Has free water dispensers, toiletries and a microwave. Common areas don't have a vibe but you can prepare and have your food and play video games as everyone else. The biggest common area is to the right side of the reception, which, as per usual, they don't tell you. There is that Olympic Stadium nearby, but the city center is actually on the other side of the river. From here you will either need to take public transportation or a cab to West Lake or other interesting parts of town. Walking to the light show on the other side of the river bank took more than 1.5 hrs and it is not supposed to be walked. There are no useful signs on the building but the way to get here is to use the ”hotel entrance” and use the single elevator straight ahead. Do not turn right to use the elevators in the elevator room. If you do, only the very right one brings you to the 5th floor where you will check in. Very confusing and no signs to help you. It also might take a bit until the right elevator arrives. The shoe rack was inside the room, which resulted in a very smelly room. Guitar with old strings, barely playable. If I came back, I'd rather try out another place.

The youth hostel booked on Ctrip this time is great! The location is easy to find, close to the subway station, convenient to go everywhere. The sanitation is very clean, the public area has a great atmosphere, and you can meet a lot of interesting friends. It's great to chat and share travel stories with everyone. The boss is hospitable, knows the local attractions and food very well, and the suggestions he gives are very practical. The accommodation is clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is odorless and cleaned in a timely manner. Security measures are in place, there are lockers, and public areas are fully monitored, making you feel safe living here.

I didn't know the hostel was under renovation when I made the reservation. When I arrived, I saw the public areas were a mess. I thought as long as the room and bathroom were clean, it would be acceptable. It's ok if the toilet didn't provide toilet paper. I don't know if it was a clogged toilet or a problem with the personal quality of the guests. They didn't flush the toilet after defecation, which was disgusting 🤮. The only thing that was heartwarming was the corner of the study room, the free drinking water supply, and the fact that everyone came on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. The laundry and drying services were also good.

This youth hostel experience was fantastic! The vibrant atmosphere enveloped me upon entering the lobby. The colorful graffiti walls and shared tables and chairs were a creative touch. The space was filled with opportunities to chat and engage with friends from all over the world, instantly shattering the sense of familiarity. Although the rooms were shared, the beds came with blackout curtains, charging outlets, and individual lockers, ensuring both privacy and security. The bedding was clean and odor-free, and the bunk bed ladders were non-slip—all thoughtful details. The shared kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to team up with my roommates to cook and share meals every night. The location was excellent, with a bus stop and a snack street nearby. The owner was friendly and engaging, and the Werewolf and city hikes he organized were super fun. The value for money was excellent, perfect for solo travelers or students. I'll definitely be back!

It is a youth hostel full of experience. It is not difficult to find that many small details are taken care of to make the guests feel warm, such as the wide stairs to the upper bunk, disposable cushions in the toilet, and each bed has its own room light. The on/off key, and the most considerate thing is the water barrier in the shower room. I have never stayed in any hostel or hotel that provides the above facilities at the same time. As for the study room and music restaurant downstairs, they are also unique. They are overflowing with literary and artistic style. The study room even provides Japanese comics. The lady at the front desk also explained it very politely and patiently. Surprisingly, she also provided soy milk for breakfast, which was delicious. I really want to savor it carefully next time I come back, and I look forward to seeing you again!

I stayed here for several days and actually forgot to take pictures of the interior. Overall it's really nice. I chose this place because the living room is spacious. Unlike other youth hostels with small living rooms, they are full when just a few people sit, making it inconvenient to eat. This hall is relatively large. There are several large and small tables behind the right wall in Figure 2. The decoration style is also very nice. The floors and walls in the room are very clean, the mattress is also OK, and it doesn't squeak when you turn over. The curtains have good blackout properties, and Da Huang is also very cute. This place seems to have been newly opened not long ago, so the environment is really good, really clean and hygienic, and it's very close to the subway entrance and shopping mall. There is also the Hangzhou Little Red Car downstairs, which makes travel very convenient and really good. Most of the people staying here are young people, and I have made a few friends. I really recommend it. It seems there is also WiFi. #cost-effective

SSeraphineNoelleThe address in Amap was completely wrong, so I struggled finding the hostel. I had booked it because of the metro being nearby, which was not the case in the end. BUT, this made me a new local friend who showed me the way, so it turned out well. It is situated in the main area, so to get anywhere, you'll walk through the hustle & bustle, but it's in a calm street, so you don't have any noise inside. Some of the staff spoke English or used translation tools, but not all of them. But they were very kind. Also, it was cheaper to extend directly with the hostel and pay them instead of rebooking online. I met some really amazing people in my dorm, which also added to my Hangzhou experience. The WiFi sometimes didn't work so well, but that's just very usual in China I find. They have free (mostly hot) water, and you can also buy water bottles from them.

GGuest UserThe hostel I picked for this trip completely exceeded my expectations – it definitely deserves a five-star rating! The biggest surprise was its proximity to the subway station, just 800 meters away, a mere 7-8 minute walk. Even with luggage in tow, it was stress-free, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, exploring, and dining in the city. To my delight, the hostel even had adorable Ragdoll cats! Their fur was smooth and soft, and they were gentle and friendly. Petting them every day upon returning instantly melted away my travel fatigue; any cat lover would be absolutely thrilled! The 24-hour air conditioning in the common areas was incredibly thoughtful. No matter how hot or cold it was outside, the communal spaces always maintained a comfortable temperature, which significantly boosted my sleep quality. What truly impressed me was the dedicated vanity room. It had ample lighting, a full makeup mirror, and plenty of outlets. No more struggling to do my makeup in the main room with a tiny mirror – it was super convenient for getting ready and chatting with friends. The overall environment was clean and tidy, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

KKjeldMy phone had some water damage so I couldn’t pay for things (without cash) and I couldn’t look things up. I arrived in this hostel and people started helping me immediately, offering me food, offering to come with me to the phone repair man etc. It was very fun being in this hostel with very friendly Chinese (students I guess) and some of them speak good English. I’m gonna miss this place but mostly the people.
