Hostels in Shandong, China

I have stayed in seven or eight youth hostels in many cities in Shandong, and this one is the best. What I like most is that it has a large drying area, and you can use the washing machine for free. The washing machine is also very clean, the public area is also large, and the atmosphere is great. Not bad, small activities are held every day. This hostel is absolutely fantastic! The location is great, situated inside a large shopping mall, and the decor is super modern. The front desk area doubles as a bar and cafe, giving off a chic and comfortable vibe – from the outside, you might even mistake it for a Starbucks! It definitely caters to a younger crowd. The communal bathrooms are the real standout. Every shower stall has a dry and wet separation, which is so convenient for changing. There are also vanity areas with hair dryers. The facilities definitely justify the price. If you're willing to pay a little extra for excellent quality and surroundings, this place is a huge step up from the 30-40 yuan per bed hostels in the area.

The room window is very large, very beautiful, facing the sea, the sea is very clear, blue, I have to admire the boss's choice of scenery, open the window in the morning, the air is cool and fresh, the room is spacious, clean, and many of the beds are for tourism. Two or three sentences can be chatted. This atmosphere is too comfortable and the boss is also very good.

First of all, the owner is incredibly kind and attentive to every detail, even proactively informing us of anything we might need during our stay. I arrived early and asked to leave my luggage via WeChat, and they opened the door remotely right away. It is only a 10-minute walk from Hanlefang, so it is the perfect itinerary to tour the city, wrap up with a meal there, and then head back. 👍

Best hostel I've ever been to! This hostel opened recently so thanks to this there currently aren't a lot of guests staying, which is great for a quiet stay. Everything is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are large and convenient, and most importantly the manager is really nice! He will accommodate your stay to make it as pleasant as possible. The area around the hostel also seems newly built (the building where the hostel is also doesn't have many businesses at the moment) and everything is available within walking distance. If I have to stay in Weihai again, I will for sure come back to this place!

The place to stay in Qindao The owner greeted me so well on my first days in China. He got me dinner the first night, drove me around the day after to get a Sim Card and even gave me a phone charger. Great man, never asked for anything In exchange just from the philosophy “you are my guest “ However, the rooms were spacious and clean, same as bathrooms and common areas. The ambient is cool with some Chinese travelers and also all over from Asia willing to make plans and get to know you. Location was convenient with public transport and local restaurants near by. Felt like home.

I’m not gonna lie this was the best hostel I’ve been to in China and I’m travelling for more than a month. The owner is absolutely amazing, helpful, kind and happy. Also the other roommates at that time was so friendly and nice I had such a great time, it really make me feel like it was a small family 🥹 If I’m going back to Qufu one day, you can be sure I’m gonna booked this hostel again and for a longer time.

This place has both high-rise buildings and cultural history. It is close to many attractions. Absolutely live this hostel and they have a cute cat. Facilities were really clean and they provide everything except towels. Location is really close to railway and metro station and also conveniently to all attractions.

For me personally, the location is quite good. It's not far from any of the attractions; you can easily get there by taxi or rent an electric scooter. Plus, it's near Weihai Railway Station, making it convenient to leave. The overall space isn't very large, but it has everything you need, which is especially convenient. They even provided three hairdryers, which was a great touch! 🥰 I would definitely stay here again if I came to Weihai again. Highly recommended!
