The room is clean and tidy. The service is very considerate and humane. The facilities in the house are also complete. Although the price is low, the overall hygiene and living experience are also acceptable. ”It is small but complete.” If you don't pursue grade and just want to rest, you can consider it 🙂

This was an absolutely amazing stay! First off, the hygiene was impeccable; the beds were clean and soft, and the privacy curtains really ensured personal space. It was also very quiet at night. Secondly, the location is superb with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The best part was how warm and welcoming the owner and staff were, offering lots of practical tips to avoid tourist traps. To stay in such a cozy and stylish hostel for just a few bucks is truly incredible value for money. I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Located inside a housing compound. GPS navigation brought me to the door, which was fortunate as it would be hard to find otherwise. They could do with a sign in English – meanwhile, look out for the Chinese characters 观海. It looks like you're arriving at the back door of a ground floor apartment. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, using a translation app where necessary. The atmosphere is cheerfully scruffy and youthful, with hundreds of visitors' signature all over the walls. Facilities are basic – the showers are over squat toilets (plenty of water though), and there are no drinking water refill machine (buy plastic for 1 yuan at the reception). The lobby area is tiny – they actually advertise the sofa bed in the lobby as a single-occupancy. Not a great idea – don't confuse it with a tiny single room as I did. They upgraded me to a dorm room. The mattress is not soft. The location is good for a visit to May 4th Square and the seafront. Overall, it was okay to doss here one night, but I found Kaiyue Hostel much better value.

This is my second time staying in a hostel, and I absolutely loved this one – it's full of thoughtful details. The environment is clean and hygienic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great. Everyone was really friendly too; we even grouped up to watch the sunrise. Even though I only slept for three hours, I slept incredibly well. I found the mattress super comfortable, even more comfortable than my own dorm bed! They provide earplugs, laundry pods, and slippers. In the bathroom, there's disinfectant and disposable toilet seat covers. You definitely have to check out the common areas to truly experience the vibe. It's a shame I only booked one night and there weren't any events during my stay. I hope there are activities next time!

The hotel is in an excellent location with convenient transportation, and is surrounded by well-developed subways and buses. The room is heated, making it especially warm in the winter, and air-conditioned in the summer. The sanitation is excellent, the lighting is great, and there's a balcony for drying clothes. The room is ventilated and odor-free. There's plenty of purified drinking water (both hot and cold) and hot water for washing. The owner is welcoming and the check-in process is simple, with prompt notifications of any necessary matters. Takeout is available in the living room, which also has a smoking area where you can sit on the sofa for tea and a short chat. The rooms are well soundproofed, and there's no noise at night. The guests are all very polite and conscientious, creating a harmonious and comfortable atmosphere! Downstairs are Chao Yi Xing and Bao Zi Ke, so you won't have to worry about food and clothing. This is a great choice for studying, working, or traveling. Excellent Youth Hostel is probably the best located youth hostel in Jinan! Excellent Youth Hostel will provide the best service to make you feel at home. Welcome to Shandong!

I’m not gonna lie this was the best hostel I’ve been to in China and I’m travelling for more than a month. The owner is absolutely amazing, helpful, kind and happy. Also the other roommates at that time was so friendly and nice I had such a great time, it really make me feel like it was a small family 🥹 If I’m going back to Qufu one day, you can be sure I’m gonna booked this hostel again and for a longer time.

The room was quite clean and had air conditioning. My room also had a private shower, so I didn't have to use the communal bathrooms, which seemed to be mixed-gender. They don't provide purified water, a water dispenser, or disposable cups. There's only one kettle on the first floor where you can boil tap water, but I found the taste of the tap water to be a bit off, so I went out to a small shop to buy bottled water. A nice bonus is that they have two well-behaved and friendly cats that you can pet.

It was a very nice stay. The emplacement was perfect, near the sea and near the subway station . All the accommodations was great and the owner of the house was very kind. A friendly place for sure! I will come back again if I come back to Qingdao 😁

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and the environment was really great. Plus, it was only for girls, which made it feel safer – that was one of the main reasons I chose this hostel. The bed was also very comfortable and soft; the owner and the hostel staff were incredibly kind, and their pick-up service from the station was excellent, helping with my luggage. Truly good hotels don't need much advertising or positive reviews; we students will naturally promote them, haha. The hostel also had lots of little stickers for leaving messages, which was really thoughtful. I left one too, hoping the owner's business thrives, and that I'll recommend it to my friends next time they visit Qingdao, hehe. For those of you traveling in Qingdao and still undecided about which hostel to stay in, don't hesitate, book now! As a university student, I prioritize honest reviews.

Best hostel I've ever been to! This hostel opened recently so thanks to this there currently aren't a lot of guests staying, which is great for a quiet stay. Everything is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are large and convenient, and most importantly the manager is really nice! He will accommodate your stay to make it as pleasant as possible. The area around the hostel also seems newly built (the building where the hostel is also doesn't have many businesses at the moment) and everything is available within walking distance. If I have to stay in Weihai again, I will for sure come back to this place!
