I had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down. I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind. I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

I had a brief stopover in Shenyang during my China train trip, so I booked this place because it's close to Shenyang North Station and affordable. The room is on the 21st floor of an apartment building, so you'll need a staff member to access it, so be sure to contact the owner in advance. I don't have a Chinese phone number, so I couldn't call, so I contacted them via WeChat. There's a kitchen, so you can cook. Hairdryers and slippers are provided. They also have a cute, timid dog.

I absolutely love this hostel! The location is great, close to buses and subway stations, making it very convenient for getting around. It's clean and tidy overall, and the six-person female room is spacious and comfortable. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, helping with my large suitcase. There's also a small pub downstairs where you can enjoy simple Japanese meals and drinks. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Dalian!

The owner is a well travelled young chap whom has a great sense of humour, he cares alot about the cleanliness, always ready to help and holds conversation well. The hostel is in a residential area, but in a strategic location, you can easily travel to the popular attraction. There's also alot of good foods around. The place is well equipped with one time use kits which most traveller will need. People with bad legs or lots of heavy luggage might have to reconsider due to the lack of elevator. Conclusion: Excellent, will stay again if I'm traveling solo.

I was living here for 5 nights, the stuff wearing the traditional clothes was kind. Its location is the best in Shenyang! 100m away from Gugong, 5 minutes from the closest metro station. I lived in 6-person room. Roommates were quiet, majority of them lived for a night. My capsule was good, but had some hairs close to a mattress, but I immediately closed eyes to that point, because, I repeat, price is great. A hall is amazing! WC is clear.

I have stayed in too many youth hostels, but this is one of the few true ”youth hostels”. A large number of young travelers gather here, playing guitar, chatting, singing, and drinking. The atmosphere is lively and lingers until late at night. Although it is the first time I have met, I feel... It's like meeting again after a long absence. The hotel regularly holds barbecues, group tours and other activities, which adds a lot of fun to the trip. There are also two particularly cute cats in the hotel, which is a different kind of fun. Both the boss and the landlady are very straightforward and treat people with sincerity and enthusiasm. The landlady is even more generous and capable, taking good care of every guest. Many residents have stayed here for several months and often promise to come back next time when they leave, making this place feel a little more ”home”. It's not just a place to stay, it's a unique experience, full of warmth and human touch. I miss it so much every time I think about it and highly recommend it to anyone traveling.

This capsule hotel operates with a bathhouse and jjimjilbang (Korean sauna). The women's bathhouse has a large tub and a shower room with a sauna, which is very convenient for washing up. It might seem difficult to use the bathhouse outside of operating hours in the early morning or early morning, but it's open from morning until midnight, so it wasn't a problem. The bathhouse is equipped with a jjimjilbang suit, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap, so I didn't have to bring anything, which was very convenient. The lounge area, while small, is equipped with drinking water and a microwave, which was useful. The only regret is that there's no refrigerator. It's better to bring a USB charger instead of an outlet, and if it's hot, it's a good idea to turn on the internal fan. I also received a cute key holder.

This is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).

I chose this youth travel for a short trip to Shenyang. The boutique two-person room is clean and tidy, the daily hygiene is well maintained, and you can live with peace of mind. The proprietress's service is super intimate, sincere, and also helps to carry the suitcase. The location is good. It is very close to Zhongjie and Shenyang Forbidden City, which is very convenient.
