Hostels in Jiangsu, China

This was a unique trip, and I'm so glad I found 'Xiying' in Nanjing. I met interesting fellow travelers and enjoyed comfortable sleep here. Facilities: The huge open-air observation deck was exactly like the photos (I imagine it would be even more fun in summer 🤔). Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: The front desk staff was a fun person (hahahaha). With a gentle spring breeze, goodbye Xiying, until we meet again.

Mahjong and pool tables. Huge common area. Lots of clean showers and toilets. The area was very good right beside a good metro station and dozens of food options under a 5 minute walk. Not a big fan of how many free roaming cats they had (for both ecological and allergy reasons) but it seems to be kind of the standard in some parts of china.

Suzhou Narrow Encounter Youth Hostel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is superb; it's within walking distance to Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road, and the metro is incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with no unpleasant odors. The staff were warm and attentive, patiently recommending local tips. The common area was cozy and inviting, feeling like a little home away from home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou!

Great for solo travelers. My bed was clean, you do your own sheets and return when at the end. There is a water dispenser in the common area. Bring your own slippers for showering. My room was very clean with no issues. The best part is the price and what's around the area. Food prices are expensive because it's a tourist area but if you walk away into alleyways. You'll find where all the locals eat for half the cost.

The hotel's design is really impressive, and I had a fantastic experience. Everyone should definitely come and check it out! Being on a high floor allowed me to see far into the distance through the window, which really lifted my spirits. The staff were all incredibly friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic, and even helped me with a small issue. 😁

The location is fantastic! There's a McDonald's right downstairs, and it's not far from most major attractions. On the way to the subway station, you'll pass Aunt Xu's, which always has a long queue. There are tons of shared bikes downstairs, making it super convenient to cycle to the subway, and ordering takeout is a breeze too. The service was pretty good, and the environment was clean and hygienic. However, when I stayed, out of the four squat toilets, three had signs saying they were prone to clogging, and the paper towel dispenser on one side of the sink was often jammed and not promptly fixed.

This is exactly what a youth hostel should be like! The owner and volunteers are super enthusiastic, organizing activities like group dinners and Werewolf, making it easy to meet friends from all over. We cooked, chatted, and explored together, just like a warm family. The rooms are clean, and there are cute cats and dogs to pet. You won't feel lonely even if you're traveling solo; it's a real 'recharging station' on your journey.

There aren't many hostels in Zhenjiang, but this one is pretty good. It's opposite the train station, and there are shopping malls downstairs, making it very convenient for eating and shopping. There are plenty of food options. The hostel is on the fourth floor (top floor), so it's very quiet. The owner is also very nice. The toilet has only one squat toilet and two shower stalls.

I forgot to take a photo on the trip) Whether it is the overall feeling, or the details feel very good! The manager's sister will patiently teach me how to stay. Although it is 8 people, the room is actually very spacious and the bed is spacious enough to sleep. The sanitation is very good, and it is all where the girls are, clean and fragrant... The most satisfying is the bathroom and bathroom! Really clean! Next time you come to Xuzhou, come to this store!

True to its international youth hostel roots, the location is incredibly convenient and it boasts a distinct artistic flair. The rooms don't come with tissue boxes or complimentary bottled water, but there's a purified water dispenser available at reception. It was very quiet this season; perhaps all the former hostel-dwellers have simply grown older. While there are common areas for guests to mingle, they were completely deserted. The owner was engrossed in his guitar, with a little Teddy dog faithfully by his side.
