This is one of the largest hostels I've stayed in in recent years. The social common areas are also huge, but completely separate from the sleeping quarters, so they don't disturb your sleep at all. There are plenty of bathrooms and laundry facilities, so you never have to worry about them being insufficient. In the evening, I played some ball and chatted with some young students in the common area, reliving some college memories. That night, four US boys in my dorm were buying tickets to go out of town, and I even got to use my rusty English, which I haven't practiced in years. But these were all long-awaited experiences, bringing back the YHA student vibe I hadn't felt in years.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Confucius Temple and Bailuzhou Park, making it super convenient for getting around. It's also very close to the subway station. The room was great, and the front desk staff were really lovely. The lobby has a charming, vintage feel. There's a big, beautiful outdoor terrace too. It recently snowed in Nanjing, and the light dusting of snow made everything look so pretty. Highly recommend!

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was much better than I expected. The hostel is conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to get downtown. There's also a police station nearby, and all guests are female, which made me feel incredibly safe. It's clean and tidy, with excellent service. There's a common area where you can eat, and one wall is covered with heartfelt messages from previous female guests, many of which were quite touching. It offers great value for money, and I'd definitely come back. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to noise, as it's like a university dorm with multiple people in one room. Since everyone has different schedules, some checking in late and others leaving early, some noise is unavoidable.

The hotel's design is really impressive, and I had a fantastic experience. Everyone should definitely come and check it out! Being on a high floor allowed me to see far into the distance through the window, which really lifted my spirits. The staff were all incredibly friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic, and even helped me with a small issue. 😁

10/10! This hostel is absolutely wonderful, from the cleanliness to the lovely staff (also the owner!). The room is very comfortable, clean and there is a locker for your valuable belongings. The bathroom is also super clean and has enough room for everyone. There is a laundry room with self service machines. The location is perfect (close to the meteo, but also to some of the main attractions of the city). There is a spacious dining area with plenty of chairs and tables. There is hot and cold drinkable water. The place is affordable and great! 10/10 for sure!

True to its international youth hostel roots, the location is incredibly convenient and it boasts a distinct artistic flair. The rooms don't come with tissue boxes or complimentary bottled water, but there's a purified water dispenser available at reception. It was very quiet this season; perhaps all the former hostel-dwellers have simply grown older. While there are common areas for guests to mingle, they were completely deserted. The owner was engrossed in his guitar, with a little Teddy dog faithfully by his side.

Hotel near Railway Station Area,Zhenjiang 17.5% of visitors choose this area
XXiaoyu 2025.05.03
Location: Very close to Zhenjiang Railway Station, just across the street, a 10-15 minute walk. Located in Changfa Plaza, next to Wanda Plaza. Convenient shopping; there's a large supermarket, ”Changshen Supermarket,” in the basement; Changfa Plaza has many restaurants, including Haidilao and Yong'an Fish Restaurant, and even plenty of street food stalls, catering to various price ranges. Environment & Facilities: The hostel is on the 4th floor of Building 5, easy to find with the map provided by the owner. The total area isn't large, but it's well-equipped. Upon entering, there's a common lounge area, small but complete with sofas, a dining table, a refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser, and a washing machine. Attention to detail is also evident, with a dedicated slipper sterilizer and ample clothes hangers. There are two shower rooms for women, even with shower gel and shampoo. There's only one squat toilet, but since there aren't many guests and everyone has different schedules, it's sufficient. All rooms have bunk beds, the difference being between four-person and eight-person rooms. There are approximately 3-4 rooms each for men and women. Each bed comes with a strip lamp, a small cabinet, a charging socket, disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, and earplugs. The only slight drawback is the lack of storage space for large luggage; you have to put it under the bed or simply toss it on the bed. The walkway outside allows you to get some sun, and there's a clothes rack where you can hang your clothes to dry. A bookshelf separates the entryway from the rest area. The bookshelf actually has many worthwhile books; putting down your phone and choosing a book is a pleasant experience. Most of the guests are young people with different schedules, so we didn't interact much. On the first night, I met a girl who bought fruit to share with everyone; the second night, I met a girl who couldn't get a train ticket to Suzhou and had to take a ferry from Yangzhou to Zhenjiang. I shared my Zhenjiang travel tips with them, hoping everyone had a pleasant trip. In summary: A very nice hostel where you can feel free and undisturbed, perfect for solo travelers.

I stayed in their six-person room, and it was quite spacious. There's a trash can in the room, and the cleaning lady comes regularly to tidy up. The bathroom has both squat toilets and regular toilets, and the cleaning lady cleans them several times a day, keeping them spotless. The owner is also very nice and helpful with any issues. They collect the hair dryers at 11 PM to be used in the study room, which helps maintain quiet. Overall, my stay here was a good experience.

Cool, busy youth hostel. Bed was comfy and light/plug by bed. No locker in the room, just small ones by reception. Horrible wifi, especially in the evening. Spacious common area with lots of plugs. Feels like a college dormitory, very social atmosphere, even a few foreigners staying there. Free hot water and a fridge. Great endless hot water in the shower and clean (sit-down) toilets. No toilet paper or bidet however, so bring your own (why??). Located right by a metro stop. There's a fantastic aldi-style grocery store in the attached mall. Nearby streets also have local food options. It's confusing to find: enter via the west side of the building, at Qingfeng Hotel, then take elevator to 6th floor.

It was a great experience. The hostel is very easy to find. The hostess at the front desk speaks English very well and was very nice and friendly. I have stayed in a 4 beds female room for one night. The room was great, it provided sleepers, sheets and even had air conditionning. The showers are okay. The good point was having products in the shower : shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and even a cleanser for the face ! It was very calm the night that I have stayed. The common space is nice and cozy. I didn't but you can order drinks or brekfast there. It is close to the subway, just a few steps from the bus stop, there a plenty of restaurants in the street and a supermarket across the road. I highly recommend this hostel.

GGuest UserIt's worth comparing several options, but overall I recommend staying here. The hostel is located in a commercial street with a lot of foot traffic, so if you're looking for work, you might want to stay further away. The cleanliness, service, and common areas are all very good. The downsides are that the room isn't well-ventilated, the upper bunk has no roof, there are huge gaps on the sides, there are no hooks, the light is very small, and the storage cabinet is small and dirty; the water in the bathroom is inconsistently hot and cold, and there's no place to put clothes.

GGuest UserI personally think this hostel offers great value for money. Although it's not super spacious, it has everything you need. There's nothing to complain about regarding the facilities, environment, or service. I highly recommend it for solo travelers! The guy at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly. He quickly helped me check in, carried my heavy 20kg suitcase all the way to my room, and even meticulously explained the hostel's environment and facilities! If you're a traveler, the hostel also provides a huge map for your reference. If you're really unsure about something, don't be shy to ask the front desk guy; he'll offer recommendations tailored to your situation. All the front desk staff have excellent attitudes and regularly check the common areas, promptly clearing full trash cans and such. And I absolutely love the cleaning lady! She has such a kind smile and always strikes up conversations. To exaggerate a little, I feel like the atmosphere here is just like being at home. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Suzhou. Go for it, everyone!

GGuest User英文好评 I only stayed one night, but this all-girl hostel already feels like a second home. The key-card access and 24 h reception made me feel safe the moment I stepped in. Beds are wide, with thick curtains, individual lights, plugs and even a tiny shelf for glasses—no awkward climbing or flashlight reading. Bathrooms deserve a trophy: rain-shower heads, constant hot water and a heavenly grapefruit shampoo provided free. Every corner smells like fresh linen because staff launder nonstop. The communal kitchen is better stocked than my apartment back home; we made midnight banana pancakes and left with six new Instagram mutuals. Checking out felt like leaving summer camp; I hugged the receptionist and promised to send postcards. If you’re a solo female traveler, bookmark this place, period.

However, the nearest subway station is a little far to walk - around 20 mins. However, service was excellent here - the boss was very kind and helpful, and the cleaning service was regular. The bed was comfortable, and hot water was in constant supply in the bathroom. The amenities provided were good too, having a kettle, shampoo, and body wash. Hand wash was however lacking by the sink. Cleanliness perhaps left a little to be desired - my room had seen better days with peeling wallpaper and some stains on the wallpaper too. That being said, it wasn’t such a problem as to make me uncomfortable especially given the affordability of the place. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
