The hotel environment is quiet and elegant. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom experience was great. Requests were handled very promptly with attentive service. Highly recommended! The hotel is in a great location with very convenient transportation; I truly recommend it as all the popular attractions are nearby. Overall, a fantastic stay! There's also an outdoor terrace outside that is great for taking photos.

I had a fantastic stay at Sawmill Youth Hostel. The place was always clean, and the common areas never had any unpleasant smells. The bathrooms were spotless and dry, with no standing water. My bed was tidy, and all the bedding was brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. They were quick to help with any issues. The lobby had a relaxed atmosphere, and I enjoyed participating in the games organized by the hostel in my free time. The location was convenient for getting around, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was excellent, and the cleanliness and service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hostel for short trips and will definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

Environment: Fantastic! From the moment you step out of the elevator into the common areas, rooms, and washrooms, everything is impeccable. There are plenty of vanity tables. I really love the common area; it has a very warm atmosphere with many sticky notes on the wall where people share their stories. We briefly cross paths in this shared space. Service: Good. After check-in, they briefly explain the important notes and escort you to your room. Cleanliness: All areas are very clean and tidy. Facilities: The only minor drawback is that the bunk beds easily disturb each other. I slept on the bottom bunk, and whenever the person on the top bunk moved or turned over, the bed made some noise, which significantly affected my ability to fall asleep.

This is my seventh night staying at Duoyuan Youth Hostel 🏨 on September 8th. I've previously written simple introductions and reviews about the common areas, dorms, bathrooms, and other aspects, so this time I'll write about something different! I'm someone who can be both introverted and extroverted. Today, while playing with the somewhat haughty black and white chubby cat in the lobby, a guy from Wuxi who was traveling suddenly joined me to watch the cat 😺. We chatted quite a bit. Even though I'm in an unfamiliar city, traveling alone, these simple conversations made me feel a sense of familiarity, a closeness that came from these fleeting, pleasant exchanges. I'm very grateful to the hostel for this 'gift.' It might require a bit of luck, but when it happens, it brightens your whole day, and you even leave with a slight feeling of calm and composure. I hope every backpacker who comes to Duoyuan has good luck, good experiences, and meets many wonderful people! 😃 Also, a big thank you to Nanjing Duoyuan Youth Hostel. Two days ago, I asked a staff member at the front desk if they had a bag for me. He couldn't find one, so he just gave me a canvas bag with 'Nanjing' inscribed on it. He said it was a souvenir, and I was so happy to receive such a thoughtful gift!

I chose this hostel for my solo trip to Suzhou, and the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations! It's located right next to the South Gate of Lion Grove Garden, just a few minutes' walk to Pingjiang Road and Humble Administrator's Garden, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. It's great for getting to all the attractions. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful, patiently answering all my questions about sightseeing. The facilities are complete, with laundry and drying areas available. The female dorm beds offer excellent privacy, making me feel very secure as a solo traveler. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Suzhou! It's so convenient to go anywhere and really comfortable, the value for money is great. A day trip in Suzhou is wonderful. Yesterday there was a bit of sun, and then it immediately rained – truly the misty江南 (Jiangnan, a region known for its misty landscapes)!

The environment was better than I expected, with individual lights for each bed. The front desk staff were very helpful and carried my luggage for me. They provided hot drinking water, disposable cups, a hairdryer, and tissues. The location is excellent – the subway station is super close, just a short walk across the street. Right outside, there's a snack street and a mall, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside is having a Zhaoyiming and Haoxianglai downstairs, constantly tempting me to go in and buy snacks! :D

The room was spotless, and the auntie at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful. They even upgraded my room for free, and the location was easy to find. I hope this hostel keeps up the great work; I'll definitely be back next time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience staying at this hostel. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and the atmosphere made me feel truly at home. The staff were kind, respectful, and always willing to help whenever I needed anything. What I appreciated most was the peaceful environment and the overall care given to the residents. It was more than just a place to sleep—it was a comfortable and welcoming place where I could relax and focus on my studies. I’m genuinely grateful for my time here and for all the good memories I made. I highly recommend this hostel to students and anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place to stay. ❤️

After the start of autumn, I traveled to Suzhou, my second stop on my solo journey. Suzhou is beautiful, with pavilions and towers as picturesque as a painting. A hundred years ago, I stood on the same land as the ancients, savoring the misty rains of Jiangnan. This hostel is the most comfortable one I've stayed in during my travels. While staying there, I realized the owners invest a lot, and it's well worth it. What impressed me most was that the toilet was automatic, a Panasonic one at that! Even my own home doesn't have such a fancy one, haha. After my trip, when I look back on Suzhou, I'll remember the streets and alleys I walked, the temples I visited, the Suzhou-style noodles I ate, and this incredibly comfortable hostel. To find such a cozy hotel while on a tight budget at 18 really left a deep impression of Suzhou on me. If I ever get the chance, I'd love to revisit Gusu and Suzhou again.

The overall environment of the room is very good, very clean, the bed is very soft and comfortable, and the equipment and facilities are perfect. I have been here more than once or twice, I am very satisfied, and I will come to 😚 in the future.
