This is the 12th hostel I've stayed at in China, and I spent 6 days here during my Guizhou trip. It's a place with very clear pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Convenient location: It's within walking distance of Qingyun Market, the Ethnic Minorities Museum is just across the street, there's a Walmart right by the subway entrance for supplies, and a really good massage place in the Broadcast and Television Compound.
2. Fair price: The rates didn't even increase during a concert period.
3. Responsive host: The host was always accommodating and quick to respond.
Cons:
1. Small space: Both the 4-bed dorm room and the bathroom/shower area were very cramped. No wet/dry separation. Due to the small space, there are no lockers inside the room; they are in the main hall.
2. General hygiene: It was just okay. For example, under the mattresses, there were countless 'treasures' left by previous guests, and there were always hairs in the sink.
3. Public areas: No curfew and no smoking ban.
Suggestions for the owner:
1. When guests check in, the host could briefly introduce the common area facilities, such as the laundry room and where the lockers are.
2. The hot/cold labels on the shower faucet in the women's bathroom are completely reversed. Please fix them or put up a clear sign on the wall. Also, regularly inspect and maintain all facilities.
3. Some mattresses are too thin, like lying on a board, while others are too thick, making it hard to sit up straight without hitting your head when getting in and out of bed. The mattresses vary between beds. I suggest replacing them all with a moderate thickness.
4. There are gaps around the edges of the mattresses where things can easily fall. Please check around the mattresses for any lost 'treasures' after guests check out.
5. Implement rules for public areas, such as no loud music or shouting after a certain hour.

Amazing hostel! Super clean, kind staff, a lot of space in the common areas! You can also watch a film on a projector (I couldn't figure it out as I don't speak Chinese), read something, or have a drink at the bar. It was surprisingly quiet. There's a locker room where you can leave your luggage. In the bathroom they also provide scrunchies and cleansing wipes, and in the room you've got a disposable towel for each day plus a toothbrush+toothpaste set. They've got decently priced local snacks and souvenirs (eg. magnets and pins), which is great! Location-wise, it's very close to the station (around 10 yuen taxi to Guiyangbei railway station), downstairs there's a mini market, and if you walk around the block, you'll see a lot of food places (open even late at night). There are no signs showing where the hotel is so when the taxi drops you off, find a lift (outside the building) and go to the 3rd floor. I do recommend it a lot! :)

Super satisfied! The location is absolutely prime. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and super quick to respond to messages. The restrooms were also consistently clean; I often saw someone coming to tidy them up. Really good, it’s definitely boosted my impression of youth hostels in China!

Great place to stay for one or two nights. Close to the North station and Metro station. Clean, but under the bed a wide layer of dust, need to remove) bed wide, seats many. In general, there is a chair, table, microwave, drinking water. the toilet is very clean, but instead of the door blinds, it is strange) in general I am pleased, I can recommend other travelers.

If you are here for exams, I highly recommend it because it is close to the school. For those who like to eat, don't worry because there are food everywhere and all kinds of snack streets around. Hahaha. The boss is also very friendly. Overall, the experience is very good and I met many new friends.

When you come to Anshun, it is really worth staying at Guiyang Yifang Youth Hostel! The location is right next to Anshun Ancient City, making it convenient for visiting attractions and finding snacks. The Youth Hostel lobby is very large. You can rest on the sofa when you are tired and chat with other guests. It doesn’t feel stuffy at all.
The boss's sister is very enthusiastic. When asked about places for fun and delicious food, she will tell you in detail. The rooms and public areas are kept clean, making it very comfortable to live there. The price is also affordable, cost-effective, worth it!

It's great; the stray cats here are very well cared for. It's a very nice shop; the staff are all nice, and the kittens are very friendly. The location is convenient, but it's a little hard to find, as the hostel is located above ground, so you need to look up. Judging from the decor, this shop has been open for quite a while.
Charming accommodation decorated in Turkish style with exceptional service! Convenient location adjacent to the Ancient City but tucked away on a quit street allowing for peaceful rest at night. Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!

The atmosphere of the Youth Hostel is very good and everyone is very enthusiastic. The boss will send it to Fanjing Shandong Gate for free in the morning.
Friendly reminder: Fanjingshan tickets can go to the on-site visitor center the day before to buy the next day.
On the way to Fanjing Mountain, find the Hongyun Golden Summit QR code in advance to make an appointment in a good place, don't go to Putuo Square to make an appointment.

Superb place to stay with high cp value! Spacious, free laundry, nice design - just like staying in a cafe. Full with amenities like heater, fan, hanger and thick privacy curtain all at bedsides. Even kitchen and refrigerator are sparkling clean, hey this is god damn rare in china ok! Guests staying here are lacking of travel vibes but they are cool and peace, everyone seems like maintaining the cleanliness together! Say no more, you can check my pictures to express my feeling better. Definitely my best stay in China! (Tips: the bed is a bit hard for me but still it is Abt solid 3 inches thick) If u don't mind this is definitely the place to stay peacefully, surrounding by all kind of malls, bars, clubs and cheap restaurants! The boss is very friendly and polite too (normally Chinese won't answer much to requests but he did all for me!) thanks boss!👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏💯💯🍀🍀

GGuest UserThe B&B is located at the highest point of Langde Miao Village. It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus to Shangzhai before 18:00. After 18:00, you can drive into the Shangzhai parking lot. The landlord's brother and sister are very nice. They called to check on the situation and even picked up and dropped off the luggage. The view from the viewing room is very good. My brothers and sisters kept the little house clean and warm. During the National Day holiday, Langde Miao Village has dances, choruses, Lusheng performances and bonfires which are very fun. Prices are not high, and many travel photography shops charge reasonable prices. It is a very good choice for holiday travel.
Compared with Xijiang, Langde Miao Village is not big, but it still retains the customs and customs of the past. The buildings are also ancient buildings, which are very Miao village characteristics. Because it is not very popular, there are not too many people. After the bustle of the day has dissipated, Walking along the river, watching birds, fishing and shrimping, sitting on the terrace overlooking the Miao village, looking up at the stars, you can really relax. In addition, the singing maids and dancing girls in the village are very cute. Come again next time!

AAnonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...

GGuest UserThe owner was very welcoming and the room was very clean. The value for money is excellent, making it worth a long-term stay. Dining is also very convenient here. There's a food court just over 100 meters away. It's also close to the high-speed rail station.
MM46546****The location is very easy to find, and if you contact them in advance before entering the ancient town, you can even avoid paying for tickets. The owner is very welcoming, the decor is cozy, it's clean and hygienic, and very warm. Highly recommend staying here!
