Hostels in Guangdong, China

This is my top choice for a trip to Guangzhou! It's just a few minutes' walk from Caihongqiao subway station, making it convenient to get to Beijing Road and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. The capsule beds have comfortable mattresses and soft pillows, so I slept really well. The bathrooms are clean and odor-free, and they even provide free cotton swabs and shower caps – such thoughtful details! Tao Tao is incredibly capable~ They can handle anything~ Amazing~ Amazing~

The apartment was very clean. We wore the slippers provided by the apartment inside, so there were no unpleasant odors. Our own shoes and socks were left outside. The bed sheets and duvet covers were also clean. It's really good value for money. The night view from the window is beautiful, and because it's on a high floor, there are no mosquitoes.

This is definitely the best value hostel! It was much cleaner than I expected, and each bed has its own locker. You sometimes have to wait for the bathroom, but it's really well-ventilated so there are no strange smells. The biggest surprise was the rooftop star-gazing terrace – watching the stars at night was so incredibly therapeutic~

I stayed here for about 6 days in total. Before coming, I was really nervous and scared because I had previously stayed in a very dirty and crowded hostel. But when I arrived, it was completely different – this is by far the best hostel experience I've had in Shenzhen. The bathrooms have a wet/dry separation, and there are plenty of shower rooms and toilets, so I almost never had to wait in line. The auntie cleaned daily, and they even provided a vanity room. The common living area outside is also very spacious with lots of seating, like a library where everyone can work or study together. The front desk staff and volunteer girls were all very gentle and sweet; they meticulously explained the hostel's facilities, which made me feel very welcome and warm.

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s super clean and quiet, and there’s a full wardrobe where you can store all your belongings and even hang your clothes. The shower rooms have shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner. There’s also a small shelf next to the bed inside the capsule where you can put all the things you need. Downstairs near the reception, there is a common area where you can work and hang out with friends. It’s very convenient because the rooms themselves are completely quiet and nobody talks there. The only downside is the small number of showers, but I think if you avoid the “rush hour,” there will be enough for everyone. Thank you so much — I really loved this hostel, and I even made a Chinese friend there.

The room was very clean and odorless, and everyone was quite quiet. During my stay, I noticed that all the guests were young and well-mannered. It's about a 5-8 minute walk from Hongshan Metro Station. From Hongshan, you can get to Shenzhen North and then to West Kowloon in under an hour. It was very convenient to handle business and sightsee in Hong Kong during the day and then return to the accommodation in the evening. There are many food options downstairs, and the prices aren't too high, with a good variety available.

I was originally going to leave, but ended up extending my stay for another day 🐶. The cocktails were delicious, and the craft beer (which I forgot to photograph) was great too. It was pure bliss just drinking and having desserts every day. I'd wake up, drink, pet cats, and sunbathe. During my few days in Zhuhai, apart from evening strolls, I only went out sightseeing on the first day; the rest of the time I just chilled out here. If I didn't have other plans, I feel like I would have stayed for a few more days.

It was good experience to stay even for long term. Beijing road is very near, can go by walk, it is around 1.3 km. Small supermarket is also available nearby, but bring your kitech utensils for sure.

Foodies, this place is for you! Downstairs, there are tons of eateries: Cantonese restaurants, supermarkets, dessert shops, you name it. I had a double-skin milk pudding there, and it was super authentic. The hotel is located on the second floor of a commercial building; you'll see it right at the top of the stairs. Next door is a quiet calligraphy shop. The hygiene was excellent. I think the rating is a bit low. I, a solo female traveler, stayed for two nights.

The facilities are excellent, and the location next to Jinsha Park is lively in the evenings. There's a commercial street next to the park, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The bathrooms are very clean, but the hostel doesn't have curtains; it would be better if the business owners could install them.
