Perched on the cliff face of Lion Peak at an elevation of 1630 meters, the hotel offers breathtaking views of rolling cloud seas and majestic peaks right outside your window. It's within walking distance of attractions like Monkey Watching the Sea and Shixin Peak, making it easy to catch both sunrise and sunset. Although our visit was hampered by rainy weather, preventing us from enjoying the sunrise and sunset, the fusion of the 400-year-old Red Temple with modern glass villas creates a serene atmosphere where Zen coexists with nature. Here, gazing at the clouds, listening to the pine trees, and stargazing truly soothe away all weariness. It's definitely worth another trip to Huangshan for this experience.

Absolutely fantastic, super worth it! The hotel staff are incredibly welcoming, and every plant, and even the dog and parrot, make the place feel so warm and inviting. They offer shuttle service to the cable car parking, and it's only a pleasant 1-hour climb up from the Yuping cable car, not tiring at all. The return journey is a quick 20 minutes on a shortcut. It's also just a 5-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is very convenient. The room itself is truly amazing; the cleanliness and the view are impeccable. The hotel's little celebrity dog is so friendly. Staying here is perfect for stargazing and enjoying the mountain views.

An excellent hotel! Every detail was meticulously handled, the decor was tasteful, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff were attentive, patient, thorough, and welcoming. The food was a definite plus, and the room offered great views. Perfect!

The room was spacious and very clean, with a large balcony that offered sunset views. In the evening, I participated in the hotel's Song Dynasty tea-making activity, which was really interesting. The next day, I had to rush for my hike so I missed the Baduanjin session. Both the dinner and breakfast at the hotel were delicious. My only minor complaint is that the hotel's extra bed was a bit hard.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the views are beautiful. The hotel team's service was especially thoughtful; they had everything arranged well in advance. Big kudos to the butler and the entire team! The restaurant exceeded our expectations, with unique and delicious dishes. Overall, it's definitely a top-tier guesthouse experience. Just a couple of minor suggestions: there weren't any dedicated children's toothbrushes, and the brush head was too large. Also, the bottled water was a bit small.

You can truly feel that this isn't just a perfunctory business operation; they've truly dedicated themselves to creating an exceptional product and service. The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forests—peaceful and restorative. Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for. I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart. They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost. It’s rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

The service here is truly exceptional, I've already recommended it to my friends. They've thought of everything! The private car service for transfers was a really nice touch. The morning Qigong (Baduanjin) practice is also a unique feature, perfectly blending with nature.

Facilities: The overall design of Shilin Cliff House is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in Huangshan. Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, with trash in the room being cleared regularly. Environment: The environment is beautiful, located below the 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea' rock formation in Beihai, making it very convenient for watching the sea of clouds and sunrise in the morning. You can even enjoy the sunset from your room. Service: The butler service is exceptionally thoughtful. From early recommendations for our itinerary, arranging tickets, to private car transfers, everything was meticulously handled. After we checked in, the butler met us at 'Brush Blossoms Peak' (Mengbi Shenghua), introducing the area along the way and guiding us to the hotel. They also explained all the facilities and services. We even experienced Song-style tea ceremony. Even after checking out, the butler continued to provide follow-up services. The experience was absolutely superb. Dining: The individually plated meals were incredibly delicious, with each dish named after a line of poetry. The ingredients were fresh; it's truly amazing to enjoy such fine dining at the top of Huangshan. Six-seater business VIP car round-trip transfer from Huangshan Xinguoxian transfer point to the cable car lower station within the scenic area: They provided private car transfers. The driver's service was excellent, and we had access to a special lane for the cable car, so no queuing was necessary.

This hotel in Huangshan is absolutely fantastic! In terms of views, it's the best choice, hands down. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit; it's so peaceful and refreshing. The staff are all incredibly dedicated; a group of young people looking after just over a dozen rooms, which is a big plus.
