The only positive thing is the location next to the shopping center and all the good restaurants. There was no cleaning for 2 days, the breakfasts were absolutely useless. Everything was withered as if it had been cut the day before yesterday.
A new, chain 4-star hotel. Excellent value for money – clean, pleasant staff, and a fantastic breakfast with tons of options. By the way, you can even eat there without staying at the hotel – 40 Lari per adult and kids eat free!
The downsides are the low ceilings and water-saving showerheads. But you find those at Holiday Inn and Ibis too.
This is an amazing hotel in the heart of Batumi, right opposite Europe Square, housed in a historic building with an astronomical clock. This IHG hotel opened at the end of December 2025. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's care, attention, and impeccable style.
We stayed from January 3rd to 7th in a standard king-size room on the 3rd floor, with views of the historic city, the square, and Batumi Tower. The room was spacious with high ceilings, central air conditioning, and was very warm and comfortable in winter. In the room, we found fluffy bathrobes, soft slippers, an ironing board and iron, a capsule coffee machine, a tea set, stylish glasses, a Smart TV with YouTube, and a mini-bar (extra charge). Water was replenished daily. Housekeeping was excellent – a big thank you to the staff – and the toiletries were high-quality, with hygiene kits (toothbrushes and other amenities) provided upon check-in.
The spa wasn't open during our stay, but the fitness center was. I particularly want to mention the bed and linens – we slept wonderfully.
Breakfast initially was a buffet (hot dishes, pastries, cheeses, good quality coffee and tea), and later became à la carte, offering eggs Benedict, toast with salmon or bacon, syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), and pancakes. The breakfast service was exceptional.
I especially want to commend the reception staff: everyone was very friendly and spoke multiple languages, including Russian, which was very convenient. Special thanks to Assistant Manager Avtandil for his attentiveness and help; I've never experienced such hospitality. Thank you to Nana for the late check-out.
We were completely satisfied with the hotel and the service, and we will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.❤️
The hotel is located 40-50 minutes walk from the sights. The rooms are clean, bright, spacious. Cleaning, change of towels, every day! Breakfasts are quite varied, you will definitely find something to suit your taste. There is a fitness area, Finnish sauna, swimming pool, mini children's paddling pool. Minus the pool is poorly cleaned, in the corners at the bottom you can see garbage, a little, but it is there. The hammam works nominally, there is no steam injection, it's just like entering a warm room.
Price-quality ratio.
These are really good apartments. For those booking, please note that these are privately owned apartments, meaning you're responsible for your own cleaning during your stay. Just a heads-up for anyone this might be important to. For us, it wasn't an issue. The view from the room is absolutely stunning, with the entire promenade and neighboring skyscrapers visible. The six elevators work perfectly, even with the high traffic. The location is ideal, and we were completely satisfied. The beaches in Batumi are like Sochi, with large pebbles, and it's the same in Gonio, the beach outside the city that everyone talks about – it’s wonderful there.
Excellent hotel! 🏨
I liked everything, friendly and helpful staff;
I have been rated by the category of the number ;) the class view
a delicious breakfast,
Training Hall + sauna
On the day of early departure gathered lunch-box
Everything was clean and neat;
Рекомендую!
The tourist city Batumi next to the Black Sea, the hotel is not far from the sea, 10 minutes walk. High-end rooms and restaurants can see the sea view, breakfast is very rich. Room facilities are general, health is decent, is the ordinary apartment building converted into a hotel, sound insulation is indeed general. I don't understand why small hotels in foreign countries often advertise themselves as 4-star hotels?
Прекрасный опыт! Все очень хорошо, в номере все есть, быстрый интернет, все новое и работает, встретили, показали. Очень довольны выбором, рядом ТЦ, парк, море. Рекомендую
Lovely hotel, right on the beach and in walking distance of all the sights of Batumi. Excellent amenities. Very relaxing and couldn’t be more helpful- offered my friend and I each a free upgrade. Would stay again!

GGuest UserThe people in the reception were very welcoming. The room is wide and clean. Every request dealt immediately. The morning breakfast was tasty and varied. I will love to come back and stay there again. Thank you
BBuerderenLocated in the new district of Batumi, it's close to the airport but a few kilometers from the old town. However, Batumi's traffic is extremely congested; it took us over an hour to travel just a few kilometers in the afternoon. The city's management is truly terrible.
The room was small but fairly clean. It's very close to the beach. Because our flight was in the morning, we hadn't had breakfast, and there was a 50 baht deposit required to borrow an umbrella.

BbellavaThe hotel is located in the old town. The location is excellent!!
The rooms are relatively large and clean, the breakfast is normal, but monotonous, nothing has changed for 3 days, and cappuccino coffee is available for an additional fee...
The SPA and pool are terrible (I took the hotel only because of the SPA) VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
The pool is small and the water is cold, stuffy and unpleasant!!!
When we checked in, there were no towels, and when we asked they said only an hour later🤔
There were three of us and they brought everything for two!!! (towels, water, shampoo, slippers, etc.)
In general, the impression was not pleasant, for that kind of money you could have rented something more decent... I will never recommend it to my friends!!!

AAnonymous UserLe Méridien Batumi, Batumi's most luxurious hotel, charges nearly 2,000 yuan per night, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing.
First, the room's soundproofing was extremely poor. On our check-in night, from around midnight until after 2 a.m., the noise from the square below and the disco music were clearly audible in the room, severely disrupting our rest.
Second, the service promises were unfulfilled. After negotiating with the hotel through the platform, they promised to upgrade us to two rooms on the other side of the building the next day. However, upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon, we were told that only one upgraded room was available, and the hotel offered no apology.
Furthermore, housekeeping was extremely perfunctory. After the room was cleaned, not only were new floor towels and slippers not provided, but the balcony ashtray still contained trash from the previous night. After repeated requests, the slippers were finally delivered, but they were of extremely poor quality, falling apart immediately after use, and completely different from the authentic slippers with the hotel logo provided on our first night. Such poor hardware and service levels hardly justify its ”luxury” positioning and exorbitant room rates. We can't help but wonder: On what basis did Ctrip use to rate such an unworthy hotel as ”No. 1 on the Batumi Luxury List”?
JJakhongirThe hotel is located next to a shopping center. There is a boulevard opposite the hotel, the sea 🌊 is across the road. In general the hotel is not bad.
KkurskFacilities: Maintaining the usual Marriott brand quality, the semi-open balcony offers expansive ocean views, allowing us to enjoy the sunset from our seats. The indoor pool is spacious and boasts stunning ocean views. The gym and spa are also excellent.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Located in a busy downtown area, close to the coastline. Nearby are supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, shopping malls, and hotels.
Service: The front desk staff is responsive and flexible.
XXiaohanyujianchunfenThe room is small and the surrounding area is more complicated. This Wyndham feels average overall. And a bit far from the main attractions of Batumi. Low cost performance, not recommended.
Trip.com It is said that there is a laundry service, but it is actually charged, not that kind of self-service.
