Tour leader Li Hanyu was conscientious, responsible, and dedicated. As a tour leader, she was outstanding, with timely and excellent problem-solving skills. Thumbs up! 👍 This Antarctic trip was very successful, with no regrets. The accommodations and food were excellent, the itinerary was rich and varied, and I even saw many different kinds of penguins. The glacial ecosystem was abundant, the cruise ship was comfortable, luxurious, and offered a great adventure. The atmosphere on board was fantastic, and the room butler service was excellent. Antarctica was amazing! I loved it! I made the right choice in choosing this travel agency; safety was ensured! I will recommend it to my relatives and friends.

Boarding and disembarking were well-organized and orderly, with no chaos or pushing. The buffet restaurant on the 14th floor had an incredibly wide variety of food; there was simply too much to eat! Beef, lamb, seafood—the selection was endless every day. My stomach was never big enough! I occasionally went to the main restaurant; the service was excellent, and tipping wasn't required. The ocean-view rooms were spacious and cleaned twice a day, so they were always spotless.

The 15-day Princess Cruises experience was absolutely perfect. Despite the large ship and many passengers, there were no queues or crowds. The buffet was available all day with a wide variety of options. We booked our restaurant in advance and had a fixed time and table for a three-course dinner every night – it was delicious! We sat at a window table for two the entire time 👍. There were plenty of activities on board; we participated in various lectures and games, which we especially enjoyed 💕. We went to the gym every day – with such good food, we had to burn off the calories! The swimming pool would be even better if it were a bit bigger 😀. Our cabins were cleaned twice a day, very clean, and ready by the time we returned from breakfast each day – very prompt. The ship's staff were all very friendly and made us feel right at home ❤️. We only booked the cruise fare through Ctrip; hopefully, they will add Princess Cruises' own cruise tickets and land excursions in the future.

116 Days, a Journey Warmer Than Home Before setting off, I repeatedly wondered: would I be lonely, would I regret spending 116 days at sea? Upon boarding the Crown Princess, all my anxieties vanished. Smiles were everywhere, a constant feature of the ship. In the 15th-floor restaurant, the waiters remembered my habits; a simple greeting was full of warmth. Their thoughtfulness wasn't a standardized procedure, but genuine kindness from the heart. Days were relaxed yet fulfilling. Mornings were spent dancing to Zumba, afternoons strolling through the 7th-floor shopping area, and nightly performances on a brand-new stage—116 days, every day a surprise. Bridge classes brought strangers closer. We sat chatting, exchanging stories, forging precious friendships on the azure sea. The voyage eventually ended, but the reluctance to leave remained in my heart. It was a mobile harbor on the sea, gentler than home. Here, I could unload all my burdens and be myself. If you also yearn for a long voyage, don't hesitate. This journey will become a shining memory in your life.

Although the cruise ship was relatively small, the onboard activities were plentiful and of high quality. The food was decent, but there wasn't much Chinese food. After 14 days, I often felt unsure what to eat. The various attractions in New Zealand were all excellent. My main complaint was the disorganized management of the buffet restaurant. Meals were distributed by staff, but there were no instructions on how to queue, leading to frequent queue-jumping, which was very annoying! Additionally, the air conditioning controls in the bedrooms were outdated and couldn't be precisely adjusted, so I always felt like the air was blowing directly on my head while sleeping. The air conditioning was also quite noisy.

Frequently Asked Questions

You must carry a passport with an expiration date that meets the destination's requirements (usually valid for at least 6 months after the cruise ends; please refer to the actual boarding information), your cruise boarding pass (e-ticket or printed copy), and any visas required by all countries/regions on your itinerary. Depending on your nationality, other identification documents (such as a residence card or national ID card) may also be required. Please confirm the final requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates and the cruise line before departure.
Modern large cruise ships are equipped with advanced stabilizers and are routed to avoid rough seas, meaning most passengers never experience noticeable seasickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider booking a cabin on the mid-to-lower decks where movement is minimal. Other helpful tips include packing motion sickness medication, wearing anti-nausea wristbands, and getting fresh air on open decks. Note: Medication availability at the onboard medical center varies, so please check with your specific cruise line.
The vast majority of cruises automatically charge a fixed service fee to your daily cruise card account. For specific rates and collection methods, please refer to the information published by the cruise line after boarding. This fee typically covers basic gratuities for room service, dining staff, and more. Unless you wish to tip extra for exceptional service, additional cash tips are not required. We recommend consulting the cruise line's official guidelines when booking or after boarding.
Most international cruise lines use the US Dollar as their onboard currency. Upon boarding, you will link a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) to your cruise card. The ship operates on a "cashless" system, meaning all onboard purchases (dining, drinks, shopping, service fees) are charged directly to your account and settled at the end of the trip. While you don't need large amounts of cash on board, we recommend bringing some small bills (USD or local currency) for minor expenses and tips at ports of call.
Usually, within an hour after leaving port, your phone will connect to a maritime roaming network, which carries extremely high call and data roaming charges (often exceeding US$ 5/minute). We strongly advise putting your phone in Airplane Mode and relying solely on the ship's Wi-Fi. Most ships offer paid Wi-Fi packages. Purchasing a voyage-long package is generally much more cost-effective than paying by the day. Some luxury cruise lines include basic Wi-Fi in your fare.
Every international cruise ship is equipped with a medical center staffed by at least one internationally certified doctor and nurse. They are fully capable of treating common illnesses (colds, gastroenteritis) and minor injuries. Please note: Onboard medical care is quite expensive, and the pharmacy has limited stock. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cruise medical coverage and packing an ample supply of any prescription or over-the-counter medications you regularly use.
After boarding, you must attend a mandatory safety drill (usually required to be completed within 24 hours). During the drill, you will hear the ship's dedicated alarm signal. Please immediately put on your life jacket (located in your cabin closet) and follow the evacuation route map on the back of your door to your designated assembly station. Please keep in mind: Do not use the elevators, follow the crew's instructions, and stay calm. Even if you have been on multiple cruises, you must participate in the drill on every new voyage. Please refer to the ship's on-site broadcasts and guidance for the specific signal and assembly location.
The night before disembarkation, affix luggage tags to all checked bags as instructed by the cruise operator and leave them at the marked zone outside your cabin. Do not pack items required for the next day such as daily wear, official documents and valuables into checked luggage. Retain your passport, room key and hand luggage with yourself. On disembark day, exit your cabin by the stated timing and proceed ashore in allocated groups per announcements. Avoid remaining inside the cabin. Inspect every drawer, closet and cabin safe thoroughly. Exact timings and baggage rules follow the cruise line’s Disembarkation Guide.

The Ultimate Lazy Cruise Guide: 3 Countries, 1 Ship, Zero Stress!

The Ultimate Lazy Cruise Guide: 3 Countries, 1 Ship, Zero Stress!

✈️ I’m not a fan of long flights or living out of a suitcase — so I tried something new: Boarded in Singapore, stayed in one room, and woke up in a different country every day. 🌏🛳️ Ovation of the Seas is back in Asia from April 2025, and honestly? It’s the easiest trip I’ve taken. What’s onboard? · 🛰️ North Star capsule for full 360° ocean views · 🎭 Two70° theater with wraparound shows · 🌀 Skydiving simulator & surf pool (didn’t try, fun to watch though) · 🍣 18+ restaurants — I kept rotating between steakhouse, buffet & dumpling bar · 🌅 My fav part: sunset drinks + quiet walks on deck You can stay active 24/7 or do absolutely nothing. I did a mix of both. Routes I considered (all round-trip from Singapore): 1️⃣ 4D3N – Singapore → Penang → Singapore 2️⃣ 5D4N – Penang + Phuket 3️⃣ 9D8N – Surabaya, Bali, Lombok 4️⃣ 15D14N – ends in Japan (Yokohama) — the slow travel dream ✅ No flights ✅ No hotel check-ins ✅ Just unpack once and enjoy the sea I saw couples, big families, solo travelers — it really works for anyone. And the ship’s big enough that you can always find your own quiet spot. 📍Best part? The journey feels like part of the destination. Not rushing, just floating. #RoyalCaribbean #IslandHopping #SlowTravel

Worthy of being called the "cruise ceiling"! 6 days and 5 nights of luxurious relaxation experience

Worthy of being called the "cruise ceiling"! 6 days and 5 nights of luxurious relaxation experience

I've never been on the MSC Meraviglia! This 6-day, 5-night luxury cruise was absolutely amazing! 🌊My time on the MSC cruise ship completely cured my anxiety! The swaying waves were the perfect white noise!💤 The gentle sea breeze and ever-changing sunsets on deck!🌅 Eat, lie down, get tipsy, unwind, feel free... This is probably the vacation every working person dreams of!👑 👩‍💻As a travel blogger who's always on the road, I've personally proven that cruise travel is my #1 favorite of the year!✨ No rushing to see attractions! No moving hotels! No itinerary! An entire happy planet is floating on the sea 🏰 Even the scenery is literally arriving at your doorstep 🔖Recommended 6-day, 5-night itinerary: Depart from Shanghai International Cruise Port → Sasebo → Busan → Return to Shanghai (A quick note: MSC's service truly spoils passengers) ✨"What You Need to Know About This Castle at Sea" ▫️Balcony Room: 180° Unparalleled Ocean View + Exclusive Champagne Time 🍾 ▫️Foodie Paradise: 4 complimentary restaurants + a 15th-floor ocean view buffet—a true foodie paradise! Sichuan barbecued crayfish...a delight for Chinese stomachs 😋 ▫️Old Money Aesthetics: A galactic staircase crafted from 60,000 crystals—the Italians truly understand romance! ▫️Warm Service: The crew was incredibly nice and thoughtfully provided us with the next day's itinerary every day❤️ 🎡"You'll Never Be Bored on Board" ✔️Shop Now: Duty-Free Shopping Street, a shopaholic's paradise ✔️Play to Your Heart: Waterpark + F1 Racing + Bowling + XD Cinema ✔️See a Show: Broadway-caliber musicals on a rotating schedule ✔️Drink to Your Heart's Content: 20+ unique bars, offering tipsy fun from sunset to late night ✔️Relax: 6 pools + a jacuzzi, perfect for sunbathing 💭The biggest takeaway from this trip: A true vacation isn't about rushing through itineraries, but about finding the most comfortable rhythm of life amidst the swaying waves, where even the flow of time becomes gentle. I still miss: The daily wake-up call of the sun and the never-ending sunsets over the Pacific Ocean✨

Things to do in Genting Dream Cruise at night

#singaporetrip #gentingdreamcruise During my first day in Genting Dream Cruise, I have been wondering what activities should I do during the night as we were on a ship. But there were also plenty of activities could be done during the night. Highlight of activities during night: Swimming pool/ hot tub (deck 18) · Open until 10pm · Swimming attire · live band Zodiac Theatre (deck 7) · live performance · usually around 9 pm The Lido (deck 16) · supper starts from 11pm -2am The boardwalk (deck 8) · relaxing and enjoy the night breeze Zouk Beach Club (deck 17) · movies time to those who wants to enjoy an open movie I had a blast during my stay. I will definitely come back in the near future.
