Cons:
1. There's a connecting door in the room leading to the next room. Although it has a lock, you can still peek into the other room, which feels very unsafe.
2. There were monkeys in the hallway, geckos on the walls, and ants in the room. You'd think I was staying in the middle of nature.
3. There are bedside tables, but no power outlets near the bed, making it very inconvenient to charge devices.
4. The showerhead switch is like those you find in fast-food restaurants – is it to save water? You turn it on full blast, then have to slowly turn it off until no water comes out, then open it again, and slowly close it again.
Pros:
1. There's a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, making parking convenient.
2. The staff are friendly and provide good service.
3. The bed sheets and duvet covers are changed for every new guest.
4. The room size is quite spacious.
Stayed at Keteri Boutique Hotel recently during Raya season. Overall quite satisfied with my stay 👍.
The room was comfy and exactly as shown in the app – clean and decent for a short stay. Location is also very strategic, easy access to nearby shops and food places.
However, a few things can be improved.
There’s no lift, so a bit troublesome to carry luggage up the stairs, especially if you have big bags. Also, the WiFi at Level 2 (my room area) couldn’t connect properly.
Another thing to note – the hotel location is quite happening during festive season. There were fireworks just below the hotel until midnight, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might have some difficulty sleeping. Maybe on normal days it’s quieter.
Overall, still a good stay for the price and location. I’d give it 4.5/5 ⭐
Centrally located. We were on the eighth floor of an 11-story building, which offered great views. When I booked, only twin rooms were available, but they offered to switch us to a double when we checked in. The room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and four pillows.
There was a lot of noise from the neighboring room (we shared a connecting door), you could literally hear every sneeze. Luckily, the neighbor checked out later, and the noise stopped.
Breakfasts from 7 AM were good, with about 5-6 hot dishes, cereal, rice porridge with toppings, stewed meat, rice, and noodles.
On the downside, there were very few power outlets in the room – only by the kettle and TV, and the one by the TV wasn't working (though credit to them, they sent someone to fix it right away). The internet setup was terrible; I had to connect my laptop and all devices through my husband's phone. The plumbing was old, and the bidet faucet was broken.
When we asked about the local bus stop, they said there was one near the hotel. Good thing we didn't listen and still caught a bus from the actual stop. I wish the concierge staff were more informed about local transport.
Nice hotel nearby kuala perlis terminal ferry..seaview room. Breakfast is a very limited choice. But it tastes good . The balcony is dirty with the bird poop
Smooth check in procees. Additional breakfast available at RM12 per pax.
Would like to suggest to put harum manis to be paired with the pulut served at breakfast. Because it's harum manis season and more guests coming in because of the international and tourism event in town. If not the season, simple fruit platter would be beneficial as desert.
p/s: You don't have to harum manis the whole year though
Situated near Kuala Perlis Town, Noor Boutique Hotel offers comfortable stay at affordable price
It's located near main attractions in Kuala Perlis, such as Al-Hussain Mosque, Colourful Village, Wai Village (yes, a big Y).
Short driving will bring you to the Thai border (Kayu Hitam) and ferry terminal (to Langkawi)
Looking for foods? It's close to shoplots and local eateries areas. Breakfast? No problem, there is a cafe available next to the hotel.
