H am writing to share some feedback about my recent stay at your hotel. There were several aspects of my room that I was very pleased with, but I also encountered some disappointments regarding the service and amenities that I believe need to be addressed. The Room (Positive) On a positive note, I was very pleased with my room overall. The space was incredibly spacious, and both the kitchen area and the toilet/bathroom were excellent and very clean. While we did find the heating and ventilation a bit challenging to figure out at first, we eventually managed to get it sorted. Regarding room service, it would be highly beneficial if staff members were able to come straight up to the room to check on a customer when an issue arises. While I appreciate being able to call the front desk, having someone physically present to help right away would make a massive difference. The Breakfast (Disappointing) Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major disappointment and really terrible. There were hardly any healthy options available. Furthermore, I would have liked the staff at breakfast to be a little more attentive and welcoming. While they weren't explicitly rude, they lacked the warmth and helpfulness you expect at breakfast. The Lobby & Public Area I found the lobby area very difficult to relax in. For some reason, football was being played loudly on the TV with nobody actually watching it. When I mentioned this to the staff, they refused to turn it off. Because the area is already quite tiny and the TV was so loud, it made sitting there and eating very uncomfortable. Staff and Customer Service In general, the hotel was quite clean, but the overall service left a lot to be desired. I would have liked the staff to be more present, helpful, and proactive in meeting guest needs. During my stay, I was made to feel like a nuisance and a ”problem” just for asking for basic assistance. A paying customer should never be made to feel like they are being problematic simply for wanting their needs met. Conclusion To summarize, the room size, cleanliness, and facilities were perfect bonuses. However, the breakfast quality, lobby atmosphere, and the staff's defensive attitude really let the experience down. I hope you will use this feedback to improve your guest services in the future.i

Hotel really well situated for the motorway and for Newbury station. The facilities are really good, and service received from the moment we arrived from the very friendly and helpful member of staff on reception. Really lovely breakfast with a great choice of food. Will definitely be returning

A beautiful estate and so much to explore nearby. It's quite close to Windsor center and only a few min drive away from Windsor Castle. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing at first because the main hotel reception is a little hidden, but easy enough to find after one or two attempts! The room is reasonably spacious for two and fairly clean. I only wish there was a fridge! One of our curtains fell on the second day of our stay. We were out when it happened and found it fallen when we got back. We went to reception to let them know (this was around 1pm) and they said they'll send someone over to take a look. We waited in our room until 6pm, called reception again, and no one came. We went down to reception the next day to inquire again and were told that maintenance had left for the evening, but that they will be sent to our room straightaway the next morning. We went out the next morning, came back, and found the curtain completely removed!! No replacement. We asked reception if someone was going to come replace the curtain and they basically said they couldn't fix it at this point, and that they could change us to a twin bed room (we were originally in a double) that was much, much smaller. Not the kind of situation I would expect from a hotel that flaunts its customer service. We also asked for room service on all three nights and not once were our bedsheets/duvet changed (we had an orange juice stain in the middle of our bed that was still there every day). Overall the location is great and the hotel is super aesthetic, but we didn't like the fact we had to stay in a curtain-less room for 2 nights with no compensation or alternative (and had to chase them to even do something about the fallen curtain).

From beginning to end of our visit the staff were the ones the shone through. Impeccable level of service and general friendliness made our stay very pleasant indeed. The hotel couldn’t be better situated within the ancient old town of Windsor. We only went to the restaurant for breakfast and this was also at a very high standard. Would recommend to other families

This is the first time I’ve stayed in many years, in fact it hasn’t changed it’s like go back into a time warp back to the 90s. The staff are very nice and the breakfast was very good (they have real eggs). Now the not so good stuff. The rooms are basic and outdated. Our mattress was old in fact it caved in the middle. Being a IHG member they had a loyalty week giving away prizes which was a nice touch but they removed the free bottle of water (not good) All in all a 6.5/10

Adequate hotel for the price. Mattress and pillow were slightly uncomfortable. Due to the hotel being a wedding venue, I was kept up at night due to the wedding music from below.

Booked the family room and was incredibly satisfied! It was surprisingly spacious. I was traveling alone with three kids, and there was a big bed and a sofa bed that could sleep two. I was worried it wouldn't be enough for four people and had even asked the hotel to add an extra bed in advance, but it turned out to be more than enough space. It's also very close to the hotel, about a ten-minute drive, which was great.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the hygiene was clean and tidy. The service attitude was good, offering great value for money. It's a bit of a distance from the train station, requiring a short walk or a ride-sharing service.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Reading-South M4, Jct.11 for one night and had a very positive experience overall. The location is convenient, especially for those traveling via the M4, and the hotel facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. Everything from check-in to the room comfort met my expectations, making for a smooth and enjoyable stay. I’d rate my experience a 9/10 — the only thing that would have made it a perfect 10 would be the inclusion of free parking. Aside from that, I had a great stay and would happily consider returning in the future.

The hotel very close to slough market, also it is 5km from windsor market i went there on foot, if you enjoy natural views and rivers there are many places to enjoy, the rooms in the hotel are clean and they provide all that hotels should prived, but the should put good isolating window to keep the noise from the outside unheard, also they should lower the floor of the toilets to prevent the water pooring into the room at shower time. Despite the room of improvements i mentioned earlier i enjoyed my stay with them and i will visit them again.
