Hotels With breakfast in North Karelia, Finland

I booked the hotel via Trip.com. The hotel booking is paid, however during check-in, the front desk manager said that she couldn’t find the payment record. I reached Trip.com right away and I got replied and assisted immediately. The payment actually transferred to the hotel side but the manager kept saying that they couldn’t find the record. After spending half hour standing at the reception, we are allowed to check-in. The manager apparently wasn’t competent nor polite. She definitely need to learn how to deal things internationally. She didn’t apologise at all.

The apartment is so nice but after the the booking it is hotel responsibility to contact to the customer and tell the way of check in but they did not contact to me. I reached the hotel and then make a call them to ask for the check in process. It was too cold and I was waiting outside for them to tell me what to do. Rest of the things are nice.

Sokos Hotel Kimmel is a beautiful hotel, staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet really nice lots of choices. Had prawn pasta for an evening meal, for such a large hotel, prices very reasonable. 5min walk to the main train station, and 10min walk to the town centre, Overall Sokos Hotel Kimmel was Great!! Will definitely be going back.

Had wonderful Karelia Pastry for breakfast on our last day. :) Will be great if there are more varieties for breakfast. Overall we had wonderful 2 weeks stay here.

Hotellissa iän tuomaa kulumaa mutta muutoin siistiä. Erinomainen sijainti keskustassa (kaikki palvelut lähellä). Huoneesta hyvä näköala keskustan puistoon ja torille. Loistava henkilökunta, auttoivat asiassa kuin asiassa 😄 Täyttävä ja monipuolinen aamiainen. Lyhyt kävelymatka juna-asemalle. Suosittelen 👍

Siisti ,hyvä asiakaspalvelu ja runsas ja maittava aamiainen. Kylpylä myös hyvä ja miellyttävä. Olin varannut päähotellista huoneen,mutta sain hotellihuoneenomaisen huoneen n.300metrin päästä mökkimajoituksesta.

The room is very good, on the third floor, lake view, unfortunately on a foggy day, no lake is seen. Just inside the park, except for the hotel, the hiking routes, the logo is very clear, the pine trees, boulders, the content of super high negative oxygen ions, the experience is very good. Breakfast is very good.

Staying here on a business trip, the local store is better. Good service
