HHASKKI checked into the Regent Chongqing on Christmas Eve and experienced the festive romance brought by what I consider the pinnacle of Chongqing hotels.
🏨 Hotel Environment:
My stay at the Regent coincided with Christmas Eve, and the hotel was absolutely brimming with Christmas cheer, much livelier than my previous non-holiday visits. They had set up numerous Christmas trees, with the large ones in the lobby and various restaurants being particularly beautiful and photo-worthy. During dinner, there were even interactions with LinaBell and Santa Claus, creating a truly festive atmosphere.
Inside the room, a delicate Christmas cake and a greeting card were prepared. The next morning, I found a Christmas stocking filled with candies and cookies hanging on my door – the hotel truly put in a lot of thought with these small Christmas surprises.

I stayed in a Luxury River View King Room. Although the hotel has been open for quite some years, the room facilities are still well-maintained. The separate double vanity, river view bathtub, 2-meter king bed, full set of Le Labo toiletries, and Dyson hairdryer all made for a great experience. The river view was quite expansive; downstairs was Jiangbeizui Diamond Square, directly opposite was Yuzhong District, and from a side angle, I could glimpse Hongyadong, though it was quite a distance away.
🌟 Highlights:
Beyond the hotel environment, the Regent's service is largely the best in Chongqing. The day before check-in, the butler proactively called to inquire about my arrival time and needs. During check-in, they provided a detailed introduction to the hotel and its benefits (even though I booked through Ctrip, they recognized my IHG Diamond status and offered a member gift, a Le Labo lotion, though room upgrades and lounge access were not included). Since I was traveling with a child, the hotel also prepared a full set of children's toiletries in advance, which was very thoughtful. Additionally, the hotel offers services like 3 pieces of free laundry per person per day, a choice of bubble, petal, or lemon baths, complimentary mini-bar on the first day, and a butler closet, making for an extremely comfortable stay.
This stay also included two complimentary drinks vouchers for the Two Rivers Bar, which could be redeemed for cocktails, beer, soft drinks, etc., allowing me to experience the Christmas ambiance of the bar.
The hotel's dining options are also excellent. Breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the noodle station, which offers a variety of choices like Chongqing noodles and laksa. Robbins Grill on the 2nd floor is also considered one of Chongqing's top steakhouses, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor is a great spot for a relaxed drink. All in all, the hotel can cater to various dining needs during your stay.
🌉 Hotel Location and Transportation:
The hotel is located in the Jiangbeizui area of Chongqing, on the banks of the Jialing River, close to Qiansimen Bridge. It's separated from tourist attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong in Yuzhong District by just one river, boasting a superior geographical location. It's a 30-minute drive to the airport and a 15-minute drive to Jiefangbei without traffic. Nearby, you can access Metro Line 6 and Line 5. You can also walk across Qiansimen Bridge to Hongyadong, making transportation very convenient.

QQingjiaowoqingfenggegeI was in town for a business trip and decided to try this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which left a great impression. The accommodations were also excellent. Crucially, I had a great night's sleep (the first night was a bit noisy, but I realized after waking up that I hadn't closed the window; once shut, it was perfectly quiet). I will definitely continue to choose this hotel for my monthly business trips.

ZZheruitianxiaEnvironment: The hotel's location is excellent. There are many snack stalls downstairs, and it's just a few minutes downhill walk to Hongyadong and Qianximen Bridge.
Hygiene: Both the room and bedding were very clean.
Service: I really want to commend the staff. From the hot tea offered during check-in to the daily thorough cleaning by the housekeeping aunties and the quick tidying up by the staff at breakfast.
Breakfast: The restaurant isn't large, but it offers a rich variety of food. The noodle station even had egg rolls, which was a pleasant surprise!

GGuest UserThis was an absolutely fantastic trip! Both the hardware and the service were impeccable. The butler contacted us in advance, met us where we got off, and helped with our luggage. When we arrived in the evening, supper was also delivered to our room. The portion size of the supper was seriously like a full meal.
The amenities in the room were the most generous I’ve ever seen in a hotel. They even thought of earplugs and eye masks, and the shampoo and body lotion provided were excellent.
This package also included a superb dinner, which my friend and I enjoyed as an early Christmas celebration. The Basque cheesecake among the desserts was incredibly delicious. Later, when we were sunbathing and having tea on the terrace, a server brought us sliced fruit and some small cookies. In short, I felt that the hotel's generosity stems from a magnificent operating philosophy. After reading the hotel team's introduction, it's clear that their aesthetic, attention to detail, and employee enthusiasm are all top-notch. My only regret is that there aren't more hotels like this – I've already recommended it to all my friends!

AAHMAD FARHAN F M AL-MASLAMANIThis was our second stay at Harmony Oasis Hotel, and once again it proved why we chose to come back.
The room was honestly a big reason. It didn’t feel like a standard hotel room at all, more like a well-designed serviced apartment. It was very spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The layout made a lot of sense, with a comfortable living area, a proper dining table, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Having a washing machine, microwave, kettle, and plenty of storage really made the stay more convenient, especially for longer trips. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully prepared.
The bedroom was quiet and comfortable, with a great bed and good sound insulation, which we really appreciated after long days out in Chongqing. The bathroom was another highlight. It was large, elegant, and very clean, with a separate shower, a bathtub, and a smart toilet, all in excellent condition.
We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. We didn’t request it and weren’t expecting it, so it was a very nice gesture from the hotel. The upgraded room made the stay even better and showed how much they care about their guests.
The location is hard to beat. Being so close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong made getting around extremely easy, yet the room itself was quiet and relaxing once inside.
Most importantly, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality really stood out and made us feel appreciated as returning guests. If you’re visiting Chongqing and want space, comfort, and a great central location, this hotel is an easy choice. We would definitely stay here again.

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of everything. I read in a guide that first-time visitors to Chongqing should stay near Jiefangbei, and it's true – all the main attractions are super close. From the hotel, you can overlook Jiefangbei Square, and at night, the neon lights are a spectacular display of urban prosperity. Right outside, there are three long queues for popular网红 (wanghong/influencer-famous) shops, so you can grab a Tea Yen Hue Se (Chayan Yuese) every day. The room itself is pretty standard, and the sink being inside the room means getting ready can disturb your roommate. I was told breakfast was basic, but it actually exceeded my expectations; they had milk, bread, porridge, noodles, fruit, and yogurt. Plus, the panoramic view from the 29th floor made breakfast a truly pleasant experience.

AAnonymous UserThe 54-square-meter room is very spacious and bright, meeting the standards for apartment functionality and facilities. It was cleaned very well and was tidy, which deserves praise. However, the facilities are indeed a bit old, probably due to the hotel having been open for a while. The location is excellent and convenient for getting anywhere. Heading up to Baixiang Street, you'll find a street rich in local culture, with places to eat and have tea. To the left, it's a 10-minute, 10-yuan taxi ride to Hongyadong, Raffles City, and the cruise terminal. To the right, heading towards Shapingba, you can cross the road from the hotel and go down to the riverside to see the Yangtze River.

It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
