QQingjiaowoqingfenggegeI was in town for a business trip and decided to try this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which left a great impression. The accommodations were also excellent. Crucially, I had a great night's sleep (the first night was a bit noisy, but I realized after waking up that I hadn't closed the window; once shut, it was perfectly quiet). I will definitely continue to choose this hotel for my monthly business trips.

HHASKKI checked into the Regent Chongqing on Christmas Eve and experienced the festive romance brought by what I consider the pinnacle of Chongqing hotels. 🏨 Hotel Environment: My stay at the Regent coincided with Christmas Eve, and the hotel was absolutely brimming with Christmas cheer, much livelier than my previous non-holiday visits. They had set up numerous Christmas trees, with the large ones in the lobby and various restaurants being particularly beautiful and photo-worthy. During dinner, there were even interactions with LinaBell and Santa Claus, creating a truly festive atmosphere. Inside the room, a delicate Christmas cake and a greeting card were prepared. The next morning, I found a Christmas stocking filled with candies and cookies hanging on my door – the hotel truly put in a lot of thought with these small Christmas surprises. [CityDusk] Room Type: I stayed in a Luxury River View King Room. Although the hotel has been open for quite some years, the room facilities are still well-maintained. The separate double vanity, river view bathtub, 2-meter king bed, full set of Le Labo toiletries, and Dyson hairdryer all made for a great experience. The river view was quite expansive; downstairs was Jiangbeizui Diamond Square, directly opposite was Yuzhong District, and from a side angle, I could glimpse Hongyadong, though it was quite a distance away. 🌟 Highlights: Beyond the hotel environment, the Regent's service is largely the best in Chongqing. The day before check-in, the butler proactively called to inquire about my arrival time and needs. During check-in, they provided a detailed introduction to the hotel and its benefits (even though I booked through Ctrip, they recognized my IHG Diamond status and offered a member gift, a Le Labo lotion, though room upgrades and lounge access were not included). Since I was traveling with a child, the hotel also prepared a full set of children's toiletries in advance, which was very thoughtful. Additionally, the hotel offers services like 3 pieces of free laundry per person per day, a choice of bubble, petal, or lemon baths, complimentary mini-bar on the first day, and a butler closet, making for an extremely comfortable stay. This stay also included two complimentary drinks vouchers for the Two Rivers Bar, which could be redeemed for cocktails, beer, soft drinks, etc., allowing me to experience the Christmas ambiance of the bar. The hotel's dining options are also excellent. Breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the noodle station, which offers a variety of choices like Chongqing noodles and laksa. Robbins Grill on the 2nd floor is also considered one of Chongqing's top steakhouses, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor is a great spot for a relaxed drink. All in all, the hotel can cater to various dining needs during your stay. 🌉 Hotel Location and Transportation: The hotel is located in the Jiangbeizui area of Chongqing, on the banks of the Jialing River, close to Qiansimen Bridge. It's separated from tourist attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong in Yuzhong District by just one river, boasting a superior geographical location. It's a 30-minute drive to the airport and a 15-minute drive to Jiefangbei without traffic. Nearby, you can access Metro Line 6 and Line 5. You can also walk across Qiansimen Bridge to Hongyadong, making transportation very convenient.

__WeChat235793****Exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient. Parker checked me in quickly and even gave me a detailed rundown of the hotel facilities and local dining spots. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby. I'll definitely choose Atour Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong again next time I'm in Chongqing!

GGuest UserBeautiful property with Michelin quality. Love Sunyata Ren-ai’s modern architecture and interior designed around its history. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed yet highly functional - a rarity for heritage hotels. For instance, the standalone mid-century wood wardrobe reminds you of what a priest would have in his room yet it opens up with plenty of storage and is lit internally. There are no awkward corners on the property, and space is strategically used and designed with a gorgeous mix of textures and colours.  Extremely hospitable service - hotel staff are wonderfully helpful and reach out ahead of your stay to follow up on details. That was how they found out my luggage had burst from a faulty zip and way too many books - immediately arranged for additional person to be on standby with a box for the books. During the stay, they worried about whether i needed extra binding for the luggage and then also had 3 colleagues on standby on checkout to help me bring my stuff out (xiaofan, ningning and xiaogan) who waited by the street with me to see me off. Honestly they were more worried than i was! And this is the pinnacle of hospitality where hotel takes greater ownership on addressing and pre-empting your concerns.  Room inclusions are great:  1. Breakfast is set in a beautiful restaurant in a stone basement. Selection is small but competently executed. The noodles are perfectly seasoned, fruits are fresh, coffee strong. 2. Afternoon tea - i had thought they would casually bring out the usual scones and sandwiches the kitchen was going to make on the fly, but it came instead with a choice of coffee and their desserts on display for sale. This means you get an intricate dessert - for free! 3. Supper - given my work and flight itinerary, i ordered in their complimentary supper, delivered at 9pm. again, not a matter of leftovers. They brought in beautifully plated 4 dishes for both nights, balanced in terms of staples, taste, texture, which is sufficient to satiate you without overfilling you for the night’s rest. 4. Photography - we all know the prowess of Chinese photography. i was apprehensive as i’m usually behind the camera and i wasn’t dressed for the occasion nor had professional makeup - the 3 weeks of non-stop work commitments showed! However, the energy and kindness of the photographers made the session really enjoyable, and not to mention the hotel provided an unmatched background for phototaking. They also edited the photos within an hour for you to choose from - you get the first 5 free, but you’d be tempted (AND PLS DO) to choose more. In terms of location, this is a destination hotel, blending beautifully in Mountain City Alley, with all the modern creature comforts. You wake up in the morning to empty walkways, interrupted only by birds and curious cats. The street livens up to little shops selling trinkets, vintage pieces, coffee (many of them), clothes and snacks. In the evenings, the light warms to an orange hue and you watch the sunset over the city in the quiet of your room. Mountain City Alley is not (yet)as commercialised as other ancient towns (each selling the same suite of souvenirs and mala soup base) and each shop had its own personality. Hotel is perched near the peak of the mountain city alley. if travelling by car, you’d need to drop off at Jiashi Old Folks’ Home and take the stairs (5min) down to the hotel which has a discreet corridor next to the church. Hence those with mobility issues - consider yourself warned.  Sunyata is one brand to watch and I’ll be back!

MM2hn8wn7j****Hotel itself is located in a superb location. It is in the heart of everything and we also spent our countdown to 2026 in Moxy hotel. It has this wonderful and beautiful rotating bar at the highest level, and welcome drinks are served there. We needed this room outside of its usual operating hour due to our red eye flight, and Lan Jian at the front reception desk was the most helpful and gave us the most wonderful assistance we needed. Thanks a million to him. Moxy hotel is very lucky to have him. Will recommend this hotel to our friends and family 👍👍

MM2fbhz739****The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making it super convenient for shopping! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and whenever we had an issue, they resolved it almost immediately – the service truly is excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time! Plus, its geographic location is superb; it's very close to attractions like Jiefangbei, Bayi Delicious Street, and Hongyadong. You basically just walk a short distance and you're there. Loved it!

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature. The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected. Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is pretty good, very close to Hongyadong, and you can even see it from the window. However, navigating Chongqing's hilly streets is truly challenging, especially when we encountered traffic control during the National Day holiday. Dragging our suitcases through a surging crowd for 10 minutes was an unforgettable experience. The hotel rooms are quite old-fashioned, and consequently, the facilities are also dated. The windows facing the street surprisingly weren't double-glazed, so even at midnight, we could still hear the bustling crowds talking and car horns blaring downstairs, which definitely impacted our stay. On the positive side, since we stayed during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel gave us a complimentary souvenir, which was a thoughtful touch.

__WeChat46854****Located on Binjiang Road in Yuzhong District, the room offers stunning river views right outside the window. The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

MM250031****This hotel was an absolute gem for my business trip to Chongqing! It's located right in the heart of the business district, less than a 5-minute walk to my client's office. This completely saved me from the hassle of squeezing onto the subway or getting stuck in traffic during rush hour, letting me sleep an extra half hour every day. The subway station is right outside the door, so public transport is incredibly convenient if I needed to go to other areas. The amenities downstairs were a lifesaver for a business traveler like me: a 24-hour convenience store for coffee, snacks, and emergency supplies, and a Chinese fast-food restaurant next door offering everything from steamed buns and soy milk for breakfast to rice bowls for dinner. The food was authentic and affordable, so even if I worked late, I could always grab a hot meal downstairs, never having to worry about food. The room details were also perfect for a business professional. The desk was spacious and flat, the chair was comfortable even for long periods, and the lamp had just the right brightness for reviewing contracts or creating presentations. The high-speed Wi-Fi was stable, with no lag during video conferences. The bedding was soft yet supportive; after a day of client meetings leaving me with an aching back, I could just lie down and sleep soundly until morning. The front desk service was incredibly efficient. Check-in and check-out were lightning fast, with no waiting in line. I needed to print some contracts at the last minute, and the staff not only quickly helped me print and bind them but also thoughtfully asked if I needed extra copies – truly exceptional service. The breakfast spread was also extensive, with congee, noodles, rice dishes, milk, eggs, fruits, and pastries all available. I could choose whatever I liked, and after a hearty breakfast, I felt energized and ready for my work discussions. I will definitely stay here again for my next business trip to Chongqing!
