The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

I stayed at Baoxin Junlan for 4 consecutive nights, and the butler Wu Qing provided excellent service. She responded to all my needs promptly and her replies were super fast. I really love this hotel; the room is very comfortable with a balcony and a bathtub. The hotel even provided complimentary bathtub liners, making for a truly relaxing soak. I'll definitely come back next time I visit Xuzhou. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay inside the property. However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise.

My stay at Peppers was fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a great location. Housekeeping was outstanding and kept everything spotless. My expectations were definitely met with the room. Only two small negatives: the restaurant downstairs is extremely overpriced, and when I called 40 minutes before check-in to see if I could get my parking pass early, I was told no — I’d need to buy a normal ticket and then the pass at check-in, which felt inconvenient. Overall, I was really happy and would definitely stay here

Very happy with the service regarding my order for additional services - eg surprise flowers and a birthday cake. All was very well communicated and the execution was exceptional - was a lovely surprise for my partner. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you Grand for making our stay truely memorable.

Booked this for my relatives. We drove together from Kangaroo Island for more than two hours to get to the hotel. They also thought this hotel was good and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, they only stayed for one night and left early the next morning.

The room was a bit small and the cleanliness was just okay. Breakfast was the same every single day, which got really old. However, the location is great – it's lively nearby, close to Chinatown and attractions, making it very convenient for dining and shopping.

This hotel has an absolutely excellent location. It is very close to the airport bus stop, making the trip to the airport incredibly convenient. Since the hotel opened in 2004, the overall facilities are a bit dated, but everything is well-maintained and in good working order. A nice bonus is that the bathroom is very spacious.

Safe enviroment for solo traveller..a little tired and needing an upgrade  but handy location in good area. Gardens and grounds need tidying. Always enjoy my stay here

Getting to the hotel from the airport was easy – just a bus ride and then two streetcar stops. It's an apartment-style hotel, complete with a microwave and a mini-fridge. I mainly booked it for the balcony, which offered a nice view. Despite there being businesses downstairs, it was surprisingly quiet. There's a small supermarket nearby and Chinatown is also very close.
