The sea-view room was great, and the location was convenient, close to several popular attractions. The pool was large with long opening hours. The only downside was the parking; it seems they might lease out spaces to the airport, which made it poorly organized. Despite the $55 daily parking fee for hotel guests, finding a spot often meant a long search and a long walk, sometimes even having to park on a dirt road.

Checked in at 12 noon, the environment is really first-class. The front desk upgraded my room type. Although it was booked by Ctrip, this is a good comment.
Facilities: First-class. The best Hilton facilities this time. You can watch the sunset downstairs, right by the sea.
Hygiene: Clean and hygienic. The hotel is relatively new.
Environment: Beautiful. The hotel is mainly for conferences and business.
Service: Breakfast is a set meal. Tips are automatically included in the bill. Please note that no additional payment is required.

It was a really clean and satisfying stay! Since check-in started at 3 p.m., I left my luggage at the accommodation and went for a walk along the beach. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, but if I come back again, I’d definitely love to stay here once more.

No slippers or hairdryer, so keep that in mind. The deposit was $75 and it was returned quite quickly, within two or three days. Check-in was very simple; basic English is sufficient. The room was quite spacious and had a working AC/heater, which was plenty. There's a Panda Express and a convenience store nearby.

Very nice hotel, downstairs is the harbor, there is its own small bar. It is still close to the beach of Hawaii, the scenery is very good when you stroll to the beach, and the room is very big and clean!
It's very close to the beach, the whole area is lively, there's a bank and supermarket across the street, and the surrounding area is bustling with restaurants and eateries, especially at night. It's very convenient. San Diego also has a relatively safe atmosphere. There are places to sleep, kitchens, and lots of interesting people. It's a great place.
We stayed for two nights and only stayed for one night because of the typhoon flight delay. The trip platform said that the order could be modified or cancelled due to the impact of the typhoon, so we left a message first and then called the hotel, but the hotel said that it still had to pay for two days.
After checking in on August 14, I received a trip letter saying that because we had checked in on August 13, we could not modify the order to stay for one night. In fact, we have accepted the order when we inform the hotel that we cannot modify the order, but we are more unhappy that the platform or the hotel mistakenly planted our check-in time. It feels like an excuse is to ask us to pay for two nights.
Great for the price, great view, a good neighborhood. All except the internet; the internet basically went down during my entire week-long stay, and the hotel did nothing about it: no fixes, no compensation, not even an announcement. The front desk just told me to connect to Wi-Fi, which never works in the first place. In the first few days, I even thought it was my fault. Can't believe that in the 2025 bay area the hotel can't even provide internet access.

RRANThe location is very good, it is recommended that the sea view room, the landscape is better, you can see the US military base in the distance, park the aircraft carrier, there are always black Hawk helicopters constantly rising and falling during the day!
AAllgo𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱. I stayed there for 2 weeks, working from home during the day, going out at night. Pros:
- excellent value for the comfort and amenities at under $65/night
- great desk & comfortable chair for laptop work
- nice modern Philips large-screen TV you can connect to via HDMI
- the Internet was ok (~10Mbps) but disconnected daily (reconnecting the WiFi restored it)
- pretty quiet considering the proximity to the freeway: just white noise, haven't heard any revving or sirens
- walls don't provide much sound insulation but I've heard only ONE neighbor conversation during my 2-week stay. It did help that I chose a room on the top floor, and next to the janitorial room (#522)
- the wall-mounted A/C was surprisingly quiet, and heating worked fast
- ventilation was okay if you keep the window open about 1ft
- only saw 3 flying insects, and a crawling one in the shower
- clean room, only found a few hair strands in the shower
- mini-fridge was quiet and held a week's worth of food
- great use of space: 4 large drawers, rack with clothes hangers, space for suitcases to be out of the way, 2 mirrors
- the staff was very kind of provide a microwave, can opener, paper plates
- pool was clean
- two hot tubs were great, and MUCH cleaner than my friend's who stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott next door
- coin-operated laundry on site ($2.50 + $2.50 W/D, $1.50 laundry soap)
- nice landscaping and you could smell eucalyptus trees
Neutral:
- the pool/hot tub area closed at 10pm
- there's nothing to do in the walkable area (just other hotels), but North Park is only a $10 Uber ride away, and the Fashion Mall is right across the freeway
- construction in front of the lobby should be finished by the end of 2025
Cons:
- gym was tiny and lacking: only 3 cardio machines (one elliptical that felt awkward) and one cable stations with fixed cable points; no free weights, towels, or watercooler cups
GGuest UserThis Hotel has great customer service all the way through. It is in a prime location basically a block from Fisherman’s Wharf. The rooms are a little small, the bathroom is as well. They have a vanity outside of the room with the only bathroom switch which I thought was weird. I requested a quiet room and I got exactly that so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all it’s a good hotel especially when you are out and about in the City.
周周The hotel room is very old. The location and environment are very good. However, after the departure, the authorization deposit was deducted for more than 28 US dollars. No one mentioned it, including Ctrip and the hotel front desk. I don't know why the previous comments didn't mention Everyone should pay attention to when considering hotels.
GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the beach. The hotel itself is similar to a domestic express hotel. The hardware is average, and the air conditioner and exhaust fan are very loud. Parking is relatively convenient, but you have to pay $21 per night. Another weird thing is that the car cannot go directly from the lobby to the guest room inside the hotel. You need to park in the lobby after checking in and then drive to the main road to the guest room parking space.
The overall cost performance is not high. The breakfast is good.
PPeter ClemensGreat views and comfort, but watch out for extra charges!
I recently stayed at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. While the hotel itself is very nice, I encountered an issue that significantly impacted my experience.
Despite having booked and fully prepaid my stay through Trip.com, the hotel attempted to charge me an additional $45 per day plus tax for the so-called ”Destination Fee” at check-in. After contacting the hotel, they refunded the fee after multiple letters and two weeks.
This seems to reflect a policy of charging the Destination Fee by default, regardless of whether it has already been prepaid through third-party booking platforms. I worry that many guests either don't notice the charge or aren't aware that it may already be included in their booking.
That being said, breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the facilities are generally high-quality. If the billing issue hadn't occurred, my stay would have been much more enjoyable.
Overall, it's a lovely hotel in a great location—but guests should carefully check their bill and be prepared to follow up if something doesn't add up!

YYulinSIMONEnvironment: Opposite is the Pacific Ocean, and you can listen to the huge waves crashing against the rocks at night
Health: For a motel, I am very satisfied.
Facilities: There is a swimming pool and a hot pool, which is good for taking a dip at night
GGuest UserService: All the front desk staff were incredibly diligent and professional. They answered all my questions and were quite enthusiastic.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. They even cleaned up the hair I had stuck to the wall!
Location: It's very close to Fisherman's Wharf and feels very safe. The location is excellent.
Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, so don't expect too much. Both the faucet and shower have low water pressure.
Breakfast: Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM and offers a wide variety of choices. You can eat as many strawberries as you want, even the ones that cost $6.99 a box at the supermarket! Eating a good breakfast here can definitely keep you full until dinner.
