Resort World Langkawi is a place where land, sea, and sky meet in a panorama of calm beauty. Nestled along the island’s serene southwestern coast, it feels like a world carved out just for rest, romance, and slow, sunlit moments.
Imagine waking up to the sound of gentle waves tapping against the marina, with misty mountains rising in the distance like a painted backdrop. The resort’s Mediterranean-inspired architecture—soft curves, warm hues, and breezy walkways—invites you to slow down as you wander past lush gardens and quiet corners perfect for a peaceful pause.
The private boardwalk stretches out over jade-green waters, turning sunsets into something unforgettable. When evening arrives, the horizon glows in gold and blush tones, reflected on the calm sea like molten glass. The air is scented with salt and tropical blooms, and the whole place feels wrapped in a soft, dreamlike stillness.
From its intimate vantage points over the Andaman Sea to its gentle, relaxed atmosphere, Resort World Langkawi offers beauty not just to the eyes, but to the spirit—a sanctuary where every breeze feels like a reminder to breathe deeper, smile wider, and let time slow to a tranquil drift.

The staff is really friendly, the room and bathroom are comfortable to use, the swimming pool is really great just in front of the rooms. Lots of amenities.
15-20 min of walk to the main street with shops beach etc pretty good location.
Only thing is that there is no laundry service (there is a 24h service laundry around 5 min by car)

Location is right infront of the beach, depending on which room you get, you may get balcony and view the beach from your room. The room I have is viewing the road.
There is also car rental, restaurants, 7-11 and tour booking right downstairs which make it very convenient.
Initially when we check in, the toilet is choked and not usable, the staff is able to change our room quickly. Would be good if they did a check first next time, so can minimise changing of room.
Is sad thing that the swimming pool is down for maintenance during our trip.
Just to note, there is no hair dryer, so need to borrow from counter for 2hrs max.

Booked seaview room. Perfect business gateway and of course family gateway. Can relax and enjoy swimming pool, beach and sunset after hectic meeting. with this kind of facilities, makes me missed my children and family because the facility really families friendly. The food was not many choices but fair enough as u can have breakfast by sea with such a nice view.
Lovely Stay – Great Value, Super Comfortable and Friendly Staff! 🥰🥰
We stayed here for one night and had such a great experience! We booked the family of four room even though it was just the two of us — we wanted a big bed each, haha — and it was perfect. The beds were king-size and super comfy, so we both slept really well.
The room was clean, spacious and very affordable — great value for money. A kettle and tea were provided, which was a nice touch. There weren’t many amenities, though — just a wall-mounted body wash (no separate shampoo or conditioner) — but for the price, it was still excellent.
The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. We asked for a hair dryer and they brought one right away. There’s also a refillable water station between the rooms with both hot and cold water, which was really convenient.
We liked the outdoor seating area too and they kindly ask that smokers sit outside with doors and windows closed — which keeps everything fresh inside.
We took a Grab to Tengah Beach in the evening — it was quick and cheap both ways. The only small thing to note is that there aren’t many shops within walking distance, but taxis and Grab rides are very affordable.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again! Thanks TC Garden Resort 🪴🫶🏼
The hotel is located a little away from the main attractions, which may not be ideal for sightseeing, but it does make the place feel more peaceful and suitable for relaxation or healing. The pool area is nice and enjoyable. However, during my stay, a group of guests gathered outside by the pool at night, speaking and laughing loudly. This disturbed the otherwise calm environment, and I wish the hotel could manage such situations better to ensure a restful stay for all guests. The price is affordable with breakfast.
Rebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience!
Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort.
What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied.
Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient.
Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to.
1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly.
2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food.
**Summary:**
Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!

The resort has a great location, with easy access to beach, and the amenities and cleanliness are well-maintained. The swimming pool was also very good for kids, making it a nice choice for families. Breakfast was quite good and offered a decent variety. However, the windows in the room cannot be opened, which made the space feel a bit stuffy at times. Additionally, the staff could be more welcoming and friendly to enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but there’s room for improvement in service.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life this is an amazing place to unwind. They offer a small fenced house which is spacious with patio and large room and a working desk.
The internet is super fast in the lobby around 750mb, can be a little slower in the last rooms but on an average internet was super fast.
The bathroom is open with curtains but there are doors and locks and high fence for privacy. This bothered some guests when I read reviews but it’s just fine.
Facilities are good and service also. There is an honest snack bar for late night snacks and prices are as in regular shops.
Breakfast choices are plenty which is quite nice and you can have breakfast next to the beach.
Although dinner is also served I didn’t try it but reviews were good.
The hotel is next to the beach so it’s refreshing with several sun loungers and beach towels provided.z
Overall it was a fantastic stay with calm and quiet atmosphere.
If you want to relax this is an ideal place. Grab to the nearest beach and shopping mall is approx 10 RM. Airport is 5 mins away.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall.
Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process.
A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement.
The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies.
Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing.
Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception.
The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue.
Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.

CCurlygirl_travelsThis resort is big and beautiful, immersed in nature and their service is excellent.
( please forgive me if I have butchered the names or spelled them wrong)
Faraaz was welcoming and informative upon check in, I came in early to check in and he made sure to find me so that I can check in my room a little before 3 pm.
The surroundings are lovely, the resort hugs the mountains and is surrounded by lush green. There’s many activities that you can do within the resort, as well as the skybridge and oriental village a stone throw away ( you can get a one way shuttle courtesy of resort.
The room itself was old but the housekeeping staff does an excellent job because it was clean, there’s no sewer smells and the bed is cosy.
The only issue I have is that of the gaps which lets geckos in, a huge one made it’s home in the bathroom, thumbs up to front desk service which is open and the security came late at night to help find it but it had hidden. The next day I saw one come through the gap in the door, ( there is a brush at the bottom but doesn’t fit until the end) I clapped my hands wildly to chase it back out. Perhaps provide a door draft stopper, I just used the towels to fill in gaps as a makeshift one. However I know it is a resort surrounded by nature and these creatures will find a way.
Breakfast was excellent, I have to says the breakfast staff is the hardest working team I have ever seen in all my travels. Not only do they have to greet and seat, but they also accommodate late breakfast comers who come after the allotted breakfast time and wait until they finish a lazy breakfast.
The food here is delicious. It was a lovely stay.
Ps. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance for Phan Thai, I recommend at 6:30, it’s not busy yet and you can take pics and enjoy the beautiful sky dimming into glorious colors. It starts to get really busy at around 7:40 ( it’s still bright out) .
GGuest UserThe chalet is located by a quiet beach near other resorts. It is unlike the other neighbouring beach which is full of tourists. Here you can enjoy privacy and quietness . We stayed in water chalet at the upper floor unit. Once entering the surrounding you will feel like you are in ancient Japanese or Korean past decade. It is a truly amazing experience. The room furniture is sturdy and well maintained. The outside and the inside really match my taste. The water chalet is unique and relaxing. I will sure book again.
The only thing I would like to raise for improvement is the stairs to go up the unit . It is very dark and the light will only be turned on at night at 7.00pm. Under the staircase you will see mass.
Other than these everything is okay.

GGuest UserFrangipani is fabulous! Great location, perfect setting right on the beach, lovely villas surrounded by greenery rather than being in a tall apartment block, beautiful pools and a restaurant and bar overlooking the beach and sunset. Service was very prompt and friendly. The holistic approach to sustainability and zero waste was a real highlight (do the farm tour!) and a very welcome surprise. Definitely recommend staying there.

TTravel zumbieBooked 1 bed room suit this time, price was good. Room can stay up to 4 pax. Furnitures were old, renovation was on during my stay. No bottle water provided still, Room service came every day, one thing I want comments is house keeping staff don’t locked my belcony after cleaning although I did locked every day.
1103671****This is an established five-star hotel with a beautiful and pleasant environment, especially the thriving ecosystem. Several monkey troops often visit the balconies, and you can hear squirrels 🐿️, large lizards 🦎, and various birds singing in the trees. The hotel's breakfast is also incredibly rich, offering Western dishes, Malaysian specialties, fruits, cheese 🧀, various freshly squeezed juices 🍹, and champagne 🍾. It's only about 800-900 meters from Kuah Jetty ⛵️, making it super convenient for transfers to Koh Lipe, Thailand 🇹🇭.
AAlexis LumTook me a while to decide on Four Seasons due to slight put off by the location as it was rather secluded on the other side of the island. (which also meant privacy and peace) But was pleasantly and amazingly surprised by them.
Booking via Trip, I didn’t expect that the hotel will reach out to me directly to check about my trip and how they can facilitate my plans better. Having booked over Trip numerous times, this was a first. This is also not my rodeo with 5stars on Trip. I felt valued and felt the sincerity the hotel expressed on how much they welcomed my stay and looking forward to my arrival.
I arrived early for check-in and the whole process was swift, personal and made me feel extremely welcomed. Before I even asked, the team checked on my flight details out of Langkawi, and arranged for my late check-out to match my flight out so that I can stay rested and enjoy the resort till my very last moments in Langkawi. It surprised me as it was extremely personal and showed how well the hotel treated each guest and placed their needs at their utmost priority. I honestly didn’t expect their thoughtfulness.
A resort tour was then arranged on a buggy to show me around the area and to introduced to me the different restaurants and facilities. And then we were showed to our room.
Room was dated and had visible signs of wear and tear but all in all was within expectations. Clean and spacious and had a giant tub which filled up rather quickly despite the sizes. Room was well lighted with generous amount of day light.
Having shared with the team that I was celebrating my birthday, they arranged for cake and champagne in my room to welcome me. Their service was consistent and I also received great attitudes at their restaurant, Kelapa Grill which served great seafood.
Thank you Four Seasons Langkawi for such a memorable stay. Your service have been impeccable. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and warm hospitality. I will most definitely be back.
AAnonymous Userhad the pleasure of staying at Holiday Villa Langkawi from 15th to 19th September, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and direct beach access that made every morning feel like a tropical escape.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially loved waking up to the serene sounds of nature and enjoying my coffee on the balcony with a view of the pool and gardens.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, everyone made sure I felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay.
The beach was stunning – clean, peaceful, and perfect for swimming or just lounging under the sun. I also appreciated the range of facilities available, from the lovely infinity pool to the well-equipped spa and beachfront restaurant.
Overall, Holiday Villa Langkawi offered the perfect blend of relaxation and comfort. I truly enjoyed my time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Langkawi.
