Tacks⭐We had an amazing stay at the Rebak Island Resort & Marina in Langkawi. The resort is set on a beautiful private island, offering a peaceful and relaxing escape away from the crowds. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding tropical greenery.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We especially loved the private beach, large swimming pool, and the regular boat transfers to the main island, which made getting around easy. The island itself is full of wildlife and beautiful nature, making it perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a tropical paradise.
If you’re looking for tranquillity, great service, and a unique island experience, Rebak Island Resort is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Ayhan175Here's an emotional yet natural five-star review:
We recently spent several unforgettable days at Berjaya Langkawi Resort, staying in a Rainforest Chalet, and it was hands down one of the best hotels we've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
From the moment we arrived, we felt completely connected to nature. The chalets are nestled right in the heart of the rainforest, where you wake up every morning to the sound of birdsong, surrounded by adorable monkeys, squirrels, and other jungle inhabitants. Yet, the room itself was incredibly comfortable, quiet, clean, and cozy.
The hotel grounds are simply stunning – vast, incredibly lush, and meticulously maintained. It’s a joy to stroll around, and the shuttle service makes it easy to get anywhere quickly. The beach is clean, offering beautiful views of the Andaman Sea, and the sunsets here are simply magical.
I must give a special mention to the staff. Everyone was so friendly, smiley, and always ready to assist. Their exceptional service truly made us feel like valued guests.
The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes. The on-site restaurants also left us with only pleasant impressions.
If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in nature, tranquility, and high-quality service, Berjaya Langkawi Resort is the perfect choice. We left with regret and are already dreaming of returning. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for this unforgettable vacation!

Tacks⭐We had a very enjoyable stay at Ombak Villa Langkawi. The resort is located in a peaceful setting by the sea and offers beautiful sunset views. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and the swimming pool area was a great place to unwind. The resort is also conveniently located close to the airport while still feeling quiet and secluded. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
The only minor downside was that some areas of the property could benefit from a little updating, but this did not affect our overall experience. We would happily recommend Ombak Villa Langkawi to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Langkawi.

Shella01Our stay had some genuine highlights, but unfortunately the inconsistent customer service left us disappointed, especially considering we stayed for 11 nights.
The biggest highlight was the infinity pool by the Glass Bar & Restaurant. It was a wonderful place to relax, and being able to order food and drinks directly to the sun loungers made for some very enjoyable afternoons. The beachfront loungers were another great feature and perfect for spending time by the sea.
The room was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable, so we had no complaints there.
Food was mixed. Breakfast was fairly mediocre with limited variety, although we enjoyed both lunch at the beachfront bar and dinner at the Glass Restaurant. The café was also disappointing as several of the pastries we tried were stale.
Unfortunately, the customer service was where the hotel fell short.
My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and before arriving I emailed the hotel twice to ask about arranging a romantic beachfront dinner package. Neither email has ever been answered. After checking in, I asked again and was told someone would get back to me. Once again, no one ever did. In the end, we gave up and booked our anniversary dinner at another resort.
We also arranged a late checkout the day before departure and even had our room keys extended, only to receive a call from reception on checkout day telling us we had overstayed because they weren’t aware of the arrangement.
Housekeeping was another issue. After being out for most of the day, we returned around 4:30 pm to find our room still hadn’t been serviced. A housekeeper knocked just before 5:00 pm asking to clean. We asked for five minutes so I could get changed, but she returned almost immediately saying she was leaving for the day and we needed to hurry. When my husband explained that I was changing, she looked at him and commented that he was already dressed, which felt quite inappropriate and uncomfortable.
Breakfast service was also frustrating one morning. The restaurant was busy and there were many uncleared tables. When I explained to the hostess that there was nowhere for us to sit, she simply acknowledged us without offering any assistance until I asked what they were going to do about it.
Throughout the stay, many interactions with staff felt rushed, as though guests were an inconvenience rather than welcomed. I’m not sure whether this was due to communication issues or simply inconsistent service, but after 11 nights it became increasingly frustrating.
This hotel has excellent facilities, a lovely pool, and a beautiful beachfront location, but the service unfortunately didn’t match the setting. With more attentive and proactive customer service, it could have been a fantastic stay.

JanemishaThe room was clean and cozy. This hotel is right on the beachfront with its own private beach! There are plenty of sun loungers, a large pool, and beautiful, unique grounds!
The breakfast didn't impress me at all ((( The only thing that made breakfast bearable was a glass of champagne… everything else was tasteless and cold (and I have a lot to compare it to, having stayed at several other hotels on the island)… there is parking available.
In the evening, we were treated to a fantastic fire show!!!! It was absolutely beautiful, held right by the sea! Splendid!!

Anonymous UserThe hotel is a little old and the maintenance could be improved, but the location is great. The beach is just a short walk away, and the restaurant, Hidden, is nearby and within walking distance, offering good food and an entertaining fire show. After checking out, we realized my daughter’s bracelet was left behind. The staff found it and kindly returned it to us, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you prioritize location and beach access over modern facilities.

l2006hgyOverall, I was very satisfied with the Westin Langkawi. The environment and service were excellent. The breakfast staff remembered our names and preferences every morning, and proactively helped us find a sea-view table by the window.
The hotel's ecosystem is great, with many monkeys appearing in the evening. The main pool has an amazing view, and there's a very private adult pool near The St. Regis. The beachfront Tide restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, especially beautiful in the evening, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Sitting in the semi-indoor, semi-outdoor area, enjoying the 'blue hour' and delicious food, was incredibly pleasant, though it did get a bit warm later on.
The downsides are that the room facilities are a bit old and the bathroom is small, but it was generally clean and tidy, so it was still acceptable. The hotel design is very good; rooms on both sides of the main building can directly access the breakfast restaurant, and a short flight of stairs leads to the lobby. Stepping outside immediately takes you to the path to the pool. Overall, the stay was satisfying. The hotel's location is convenient, and it's easy to get to Kuah Town for island hopping.

Anonymous UserThe view from the balcony is absolutely spectacular and definitely the highlight of our stay. The room itself was very neat and tidy, and we appreciated the large TV.
However, the facilities look quite old and could use some refurbishment. The corridors also appear worn and are not very inviting. There was a strong smell of food, including durian, when we stepped out of the elevator, which wasn’t pleasant. Another inconvenience was that Block 1 only has one elevator, so we had to walk quite a distance to reach Blocks 3 and 4. The balcony also had sand on the floor and wasn’t as clean as we expected.
Overall, the room was comfortable with an amazing view, but the common areas and facilities could be better maintained to enhance the overall guest experience.

kk85Pelangi Beach resort is in a fantastic location. Prime walking distance to all restaurants and shops. The resort itself is beautiful. The breakfast buffets in both locations are great and the staff are super happy. However some things could be improved. The room , although comfortable and big with a great view of the island, has a lot of dirty stains on many of the e furniture and the door on the balcony needs fixed as it takes a lot of force to shut it tight. Also the buggy service is a disaster. Although convenient it takes such a long time to wait for this service- definitely needs a better system. I did appreciate the hotel providing birthday cake- I really appreciated it. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

NiliudashuThis hotel was just a place to crash; we were out all day anyway, so we didn't expect much. The location is excellent, right in town. Across the street, there's a duty-free chocolate shop, and plenty of food options within a few blocks. It's also beachfront, so you can catch the sunrise. We booked a suite, which was spacious, but the facilities were quite outdated. The hot water was intermittent, and it seemed like there was no hot water at all late at night! I left my swim trunks in the room and called customer service to ask about them. I figured if they found them, I'd just take a taxi back from Berjaya to pick them up. The first time I called, a man answered and said he'd look for them. When I called again, a woman answered. I'm not sure if she didn't understand English or what, but she just mumbled and rambled for a while before abruptly hanging up on me. Since I was short on time, I just gave up and bought new ones.
The breakfast was mediocre, with limited choices. Just enough to grab a bite.
The gym is tiny and the equipment is old, but nobody supervises it, and hardly anyone uses it. You just swipe your card to enter, so it's practically 24 hours. It was sufficient for my workout needs.
The infinity pool has a nice view, and my kids loved it. There were a lot of Indian people diving and having 'doggy paddle' races, making the pool quite chaotic, and nobody seemed to be managing it. The Indian 'doggy paddle' is hilarious; it's not the first time I've seen it, I've seen it countless times now! I even wonder if it's some kind of Indian national art form? The key thing is, this stroke is exhausting and inefficient, yet they all seem to enjoy it immensely 😂
