The living room is still relatively clean and the refrigerator is not bad, but there are still many shortcomings. First, the toilet is a bit narrow. When taking a bath, the water will splash on the washstand. The toilet flushing setting is not very convenient and the ventilation fan should not be used. It should be broken. I am worried about carbon monoxide poisoning and the bedside plug is too much. Few others are not bad, I hope I can improve these a little bit.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly our butler, Lulu. Before our arrival, she proactively contacted me to understand our needs and went above and beyond to fulfill them. She was incredibly helpful with anything she could coordinate and actively sought solutions for things beyond her direct control – truly commendable! 👍 During our stay, she was incredibly responsive and efficient in booking activities and arranging a late check-out. So, these 5 stars are definitely for our butler. Another great point is the lifeguard at the pool; they are, without a doubt, the most responsible I've ever encountered at a hotel. They diligently watched the pool every single minute, never getting distracted. The staff at the kids' activities also did a fantastic job, engaging with every child and ensuring everyone felt included. On the downside, the room cleaning could be improved. The non-slip mat in the bathtub had a greasy film underneath (though when I informed the butler, she immediately resolved it and provided disposable bath liners). Replenishment of amenities was also inconsistent. The hot food at the executive lounge was disappointing and didn't match the quality expected from a five-star hotel at this price point. Lastly, the kids' club was very small and lacked proper ventilation.

Pros: The service was great! I added the front desk on WeChat, and they were very responsive to any questions I had, even recommending places to eat. I stayed in the 180 sea-view suite, which was a nice and clean apartment with a huge balcony and a clear view of the sea. You can cook in the room (though you need to bring your own pots and pans). The location is also decent, about a six or seven-minute walk to Silver Beach. They offer free sand-digging tools, which is a big plus! There's an owner's canteen downstairs for breakfast, which is very convenient. Cons: There are other residents in the apartment building, and some are renovating. With only two elevators, waiting times can be quite long. The front desk is outside on the first floor and separate from the residential area, making it a bit hard to find. The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low.

No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room.

Just checked into the Holiday Inn Express, and it's been an amazing experience! The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, plus excellent transportation links. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and tasted great too. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Our stay at the Beihai Marriott Hotel far exceeded our expectations, and I have to give it a heartfelt five-star review. Firstly, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very close to the Silver Beach scenic area, within walking distance, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. Our high-floor sea-view room offered an excellent vista, with an endless ocean view right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening was truly refreshing. The room comfort was top-notch. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were of good quality. A special shout-out to the impeccable cleanliness; every corner was spotless, making our stay very reassuring. The service was remarkable. From check-in at the front desk to room service, every staff member greeted us with a smile and responded promptly. When we asked about nearby dining options, the staff patiently recommended several authentic local eateries, which was very helpful. Amenities were abundant. The outdoor swimming pool had clear water, and our child didn't want to leave. Although the kids' club wasn't huge, the facilities were safe and fun, making it great for families. Breakfast was a highlight. In addition to the standard Chinese and Western buffet, there were local specialties like seafood congee and Vietnamese pho, which tasted authentic – we had a bowl every day. Overall, the Beihai Marriott offered a high-quality holiday experience at a reasonable price. Whether for a couple's getaway or a family trip, it's an excellent choice. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Beihai!

Traveling with my child, staying at the Crowne Plaza was incredibly convenient. We were right next to Silver Beach Yuyou Plaza, which made it super easy to go clam digging and play in the sand. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, and there's even staff to help with washing and drying, which was a huge plus. The complimentary morning tea voucher was legitimate – no hidden catches – and the morning tea itself was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was also very diverse. My child and I would usually have breakfast at the hotel, and that would basically cover us until dinner. The evening buffet was also quite extensive, with excellent service and a great selection of seafood.

Facilities: The hotel has a very stylish design with various room types. We chose the 'Wave Seaview' room, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, offering an instant view of the ocean. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive and modern, including a constant-temperature hot tub, a dryer, and smart home features (the large smart TV was a lifesaver for putting the kids to sleep – they’d just watch it and drift off 🤣). Service: The butler service was superb! With a team of 10 butlers, all our requests and issues were addressed promptly. It's perfectly suited for families with both elderly members and young children. Every day, there was afternoon tea and a 'goodnight stew,' along with airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. They also arranged activities like clam digging and sea fishing, and even provided a farewell gift upon departure! Location: It’s located in the Golden Beach area, not far from the old town and very close to the Oceanarium. A night market is right downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find various local food stalls. It's a bit further from Silver Beach, but a taxi ride takes about half an hour, so transportation is convenient! Especially noteworthy is the complimentary travel photography service. They collaborate with Yuexiang Travel Photography. The photographer was excellent at capturing moments and kept us in a great mood throughout, leaving us with beautiful memories of our family of five. After the first day's shoot, we immediately booked another session for Silver Beach the next day. The photographer arrived on time and even waited a bit for us. Since we had seniors and kids and didn't want to overexert ourselves, she encouraged us to play naturally while she took photos. We were extremely happy with the pictures!

This is a fantastic homestay! The staff are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. The Rainforest Restaurant has a bar area where you can order new cocktails, and the evening ambiance is really nice. There's also a pool at the homestay, perfect for a swim in the summer. Booking includes pier pick-up and drop-off, and breakfast is also included with a self-service buffet. Overall, it's a great experience.

I highly recommend this homestay! The service is impeccable. Before checking in, the homestay thoughtfully created a group, and the 6 service staff were warm and thoughtful, and also sent a detailed guide to Beihai. The private hot spring swimming pool we booked was changed for each guest and cleaned spotlessly. The hotel has an elegant environment and is located in the Silver Beach Villa District. The breakfast is delicious. On the first night, we bought seafood and the chef helped to process it. The taste was amazing. The salt and pepper mantis shrimp and spicy fried crab were a must. The fish caught in the afternoon was also very delicious after the chef cooked it. Any service needs can be responded to in a timely manner, and the service attitude is cordial and friendly. In the end, we didn't have time to book a car, and the hotel also helped us load our luggage and take pictures. It was really reliable! When I come to Beihai in the future, I will definitely recommend this homestay to every friend!
