It's a nice plaza with everything from restaurants and supermarkets. The whole neighborhood looks a bit classy. The gym and swimming pool are good, a good choice on the way to Milwaukee
The location was great and I really liked the free transportation ( you should boocked it earlier by contacting the front desk)— super convenient!
Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options. The pancakes were already gone even though the buffet had just started about 30 minutes earlier.
Also, both coffee machines at the reception weren’t working — one was broken and the other kept showing an error. When they tried to fix it, they had to turn it off completely, so unfortunately, no coffee in the morning.
At first glance, this seems like a fine hotel, but our stay was very disappointing. The floor above our room was extremely thin and poorly insulated, making every step clearly audible. Unfortunately, there were dogs running back and forth almost constantly, which meant we got virtually no sleep during our stay. While the hotel itself is decent, the lack of soundproofing makes it very uncomfortable. For this reason, I cannot recommend it.
Very satisfied with this hotel 👍! This hotel should be the best hotel in Rockford. It was transformed from a factory in 1916 in 2020. The creative design is good, and the hotel has an industrial style. The breakfast is also American, which is good. It is better than most hotels in the United States. The service is good and simple. The facilities in the room are complete. The facilities in the suite are complete, and the sofa bed is also good. There is a scenic bar on the 12th floor. Although the scenery of this small city is only a river, the light is beautiful when the sun sets. This hotel is a landmark building in this small town. The small city of 150,000 people has a small population. We had dinner on the underground floor, steak and fish fingers, which was not expensive. The tax in Illinois is only 8%, and the tip is reasonable. In short, for a place with a strong rural atmosphere, this hotel gives you a leisurely feeling. The hotel gave us six glasses of self-selected wine, which felt very good.
Super charming place. They have sweets that are more like long-term rental amenities. Or extended stay. Very nice property with a great bar and a solid breakfast. The staff is wonderful and great place to stay if you want to be centrally located in Bloomington. Highly recommended !
Best deal at ORD. Pro: SUPER strong water pressure in the shower (make sure you don't flood the bathroom!), very decent rate and nice professional staff. Close enough to get tons of food delivered if you don't have a car, close to the fashion outlets mall. Con, wifi can be weak on higher floors. I stayed here for NYE and had to come back, first visit was a high floor and zero internet, on our second visit they put us on 2nd floor, so they're aware of the issue and will give you the best room they can. Housekeeping is nice and respectful and they honor Bonvoy members benefits like late checkout etc.
Friendly and helpful staff. Had to bring our pup along last minute, and the animal fee wasn't bad at 40 bucks for a night. Overall we were very pleased with our stay for the price.
Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast. Potatoes, powdered scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage links, yogurt, bagels, fruit, etc.
The Keurig in our room was by no means clean. That's really my only complaint about the joint. Decent place to hang your head for the night, and the price was very reasonable.
My wife and I found the location and the cleanliness to be great. However the only reason I would give this hotel a bad review is because of how thin the floors are. We were on the 3rd floor and you could hear the people from upstairs basically breathing. Other than the lack of sleep from the noise I would rate the cleanliness a 10, The location a 10, the Service a 10. Again great esthetics horrible build!
Very Good

GGuest UserThere was an unknown $200 fee that trip.com is not aware of that the hotel calls a ”resort fee”. This makes a good rate for staying in downtown Chicago very expensive. On the part of the hotel and possibly trip.com, this is deceptive. This fee is not published and there is no real alternative to paying it.
We've stayed many times at this hotel for convenience to our convention which is held across the river. In mid-January, this has been a great choice.
AAndrewEngineerThe hotel is a bit dated. Service is very good. Excellent breakfast (especially. egg white omelet with spinach and mushrooms). Pool is good but lacking a hot tub. Self parking for $39 a night is a bit too.much.
GGuest UserLocation is good especially 5mins walk to the Grand subway station and it’s in the Shopping Loop. Room facilities is not that good, hair blower plug is shaky unable use. Towels not provided as per paid occupants. Need to request. Unable to do the make up for ladies as the Sensor entrance light is too dim.
DDajianalidaolasipaermasitangxianzuI forgot to take pictures. The location of this hotel is pretty good. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway and about 15 minutes to Chinatown. It is within 5 kilometers from the city center. The room is quite big and clean. The breakfast is simple and cost-effective.
JJamesThis place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel.
GGuest UserThis place is conveniently located close to the airport with all facilities, which was great. The pool water was warm, perfect for swimming with kids. There's also a water dispenser and unlimited bottled water available on the first floor.
TTerence CaoBe careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members.
A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones.
We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending.
Hope the information is helpful for you.
GGuest UserAccidentally booked this hotel during the Days of the Dead event that was going on at the hotel that weekend. So when I arrived I was surprised by many of the attendees, but some absolutely interest costumes and people were there. Even saw Alice Cooper and several stars of the current hit movie Terrifier hanging out in the lobbies and at the restaurant. This hotel is located across the street from the convention center and also the Rosemont Theater and close to O'Hare. That was my biggest problem, so many loud planes flying over (very closely) all through the night. My room was on the side next to the Rosemont Theater and their very bright sign was a little annoying, especially since the blinds don't close all the way to block off the light or help with sound reduction. As with most busy hotels, the unfortunate noises from other guests slamming doors or taking a shower is something I might expect at a lower name brand hotel - unfortunately these problems are present at this location too.
My room purchase came with free breakfast buffet at the restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic. A wide variety of fresh fruits and standard breakfast foods, all laid out nicely and neat. I would hit this place up for breakfast anytime I am in that neighborhood.
Staff was friendly, took the hotel shuttle back to O'Hare. Has a decent size indoor pool and a couple of workout rooms, which I didn't use. Also had a Caddyshack themed bar and restaurant, food was also decent there.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was decent. However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.
GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Holiday Inn O'Hare Area and had a fantastic experience! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere—perfect for getting a good night's rest before my flight.
The hotel also has a well-maintained fitness center, which was an added bonus.Overall, the value for money at this Holiday Inn is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay near O'Hare Airport. I will definitely stay here again
