The hotel is situated next to a large, beautiful park and is just two tram stops from Krakow. A bus stop is conveniently located a mere two-minute walk from the entrance, making transportation very easy. There are several other hotels in the vicinity, and a small supermarket is also nearby. I particularly enjoyed the room's interior color scheme, and the bathroom was impeccably clean.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the station, but there's a bus stop nearby so it's easily accessible. The hotel was very clean. The shower was also fine. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
A very enjoyable stay, the hotel is located off the beaten track but is a great base for nearby attractions: Oświęcim, Energylandia, Wadowice and Kęty. Great staff and very good amenities on site: indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, restaurant, cozy large rooms and a tasty breakfast for dessert.
Family trip to the Christmas market in Krakau. Perfect location of the hotel selected online. Although the hotel is very well maintained, it has come into the years. Not recommended at the cold season. We had 2 rooms, one heat well, the other heatly cold and that at -2C external temperature. On request at the reception the time was said to check it from 19:00h (!) to become warmer, is a old building. Warm water comes after about 10 minutes, even in the ice bath. Also here from the reception “Is a old building!”. House is very bright, guests from England rather not careful, but night noise on the rides. Parking at the hotel is possible, € 47 per night (200 zl). No cheap recommendation nearby.
Summary: best location in the old town, but in the cold season nothing for hot showers.... Nix for me and my girls.
The hotel is in a great location between Auschwitz and Energylandia. It is a really nice hotel. Unfortunately, they are not so good at keeping it clean. In the 5 days we were there, they didn't even manage to refill the toilet paper in the room. We had to do it ourselves.
There is a restaurant below the hotel and our room was right above it. Loud music played in the garden until 11 p.m. You would have thought the music was in our room, it was so loud. Otherwise, the room was really big. The fridge in the room was also very loud, so you couldn't sleep. We turned it off.
The breakfast buffet was OK. I've seen better ones, but also much worse ones.
You can see that the hotel is a bit old. But overall, it was good for the price.
Brilliant from the first greeting to the farewell!
Lovely staff who went the extra mile to welcome you and helped in any way they could.
Impeccable English spoken; Brits are rubbish at other languages, in my experience. Nothing to be proud of 😌
The room was amazing. A very new hotel, so everything was still pristine. Probably the smartest place I have ever stayed in.
Quiet - I guess it was well soundproofed; heard nobody else - like we had the floor to ourselves.
Reception and bar/ cafe- style area was welcoming, serving snacks and great coffee.
Did not use the dining facilities, but the area looked very good, on Level -1.
Very good quality toiletries.
Luxurious towels and bedding.
Nespresso coffee machine
Fridge
Water filter/ ‘kettle’.
Really cannot fault anything.
I would try another Tribe hotel and would hope it would be of the same standard.
Since we were traveling as a family, we needed a triple room, and this hotel happened to have one. An Uber from the airport cost about 62 PLN, and from the hotel to the Old Town, it was around 27 PLN. There's a bus stop called Mehoffera a 6-minute walk from the hotel, where you can take bus 130 directly to Galeria Krakowska Shopping Mall, the main station, and the Old Town, taking about 20 minutes. The location is excellent.
When we checked in, they told us we were staying at the Premier Krakow Hotel next door. The room was spacious and very clean. Bottled water was provided daily, and the room was warm and comfortable. The service was fantastic.
There aren't many dining or shopping options nearby. The closest is Diamond Kebab, about a 7-minute walk, which was pretty good.
If you prioritize great hotel service, high value for money, and are okay with being a 20-minute journey from the city center, then this hotel comes highly recommended.
It was a perfect hotel to relax after our trip to Paris. We enjoyed comfortable bed and swimming pool with jacuzzi in it. Breakfast was also high quality. I can recommend this place
Excellent location less than 5 minutes walk to the airport. Ideal for those with early flights to catch. Also accessible to city via the local train. Hotel offers a super comfortable sleep.
The hotel is decent for its price. However, it's quite a distance from Krakow's Old Town. The breakfast is excellent, considering the price. Overall, we're satisfied, but it would be good if they could fix the issue with the room doors. They close abruptly and make a lot of noise, constantly interrupting our rest. Additionally, a smart TV would be preferable. Finally, we requested a wake-up call service for two days, and it wasn't provided either time. As a result, we missed a pre-paid excursion one day. Interestingly, they did call us for check-out later. It would be beneficial if these points were taken into consideration to improve the quality of service.

GGine GuyThank you for such a lovely and comfy stay with the outstanding service from the receptionists to the maids, the chefs, the staff, and the mechanic. All my needs and wants fully served perfectly. See you my second home in Krakow❤️❤️❤️
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is clean and comfy, perfectly warm for the freezing temperatures outside. Situated right next to Kraków Grzegórzki train station, it was easy to get to/from the airport and to other places via the train as it connects to the Kraków Główny main station.
Staff were helpful, explained where we can go around Kraków. We were given plenty of clean towels, room cleaning service daily. Hair dryer was also provided, with a drinking water dispenser right outside the lift.
Only thing would be the shower as it sometimes pulses between slightly hotter and colder water. Was pleasantly surprised when it’s got heated flooring in the shower though!
SSiraThe Mercure Krakow Stare Miasto instantly impressed me with its beautiful, modern, playful lobby design — highlighted by a replica of Queen Barbara’s dress (wife of King Zygmunt August), complete with a plaque sharing her story. Service was another highlight: the check-in staff were warm and welcoming (one even greeted me in Thai), and homemade snacks were offered at both check-in and check-out. The location is superb, directly opposite Galeria Krakowska, a massive mall with everything from luxury brands to groceries, restaurants, and a food court. It’s also just a short walk from the Market Square, main shopping streets, and the Czartoryski Museum, home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Lady with an Ermine. Wawel Castle and the Kazimierz district are a bit farther, but still manageable on foot with comfortable shoes. My room was clean and comfortable, though a little plain, and the bathroom on the small side. Breakfast was the one weak spot — the food selection was modest, and at peak times the dining room felt cramped, sometimes leaving only counter seating (I recommend going later once the rush has passed). Still, these are minor quibbles. With its inviting lobby, warm and attentive service, and unbeatable location, this hotel is an easy one to recommend.
GGuest UserI really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. I was in a twin room with a balcony, bathtub, fridge, complimentary water, toiletries. Lovely, bright and clean, comfy beds and nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. The scrambled egg and little sausages were so tasty. The cakes were lovely with coffee afterwards. Also cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and breads and juices. Lovely and quiet, never heard a sound from other guests in their rooms. A real calm and relaxed vibe. There's also an outdoor seating area and a shop across the road. The tram stops are just to the side and are so easy and frequent. Ticket machines are at the stop, or you can pay on board. Don't forget to validate your ticket. Great base for exploring the Jewish quarter and ghetto, Schindler Factory Museum and don't miss the Plaszow guided tour, a highlight so far. Tram 3 and 24 takes you there from outside hotel and coats 4 zlotys. They are in the process of building a museum there, so it's going to be much busier in the future. Go now while its not as well known. I would definitely return to Columbus hotel, an excellent choice, enjoy!
GGuest UserNice hotel on the outskirts of Krakow. 10 minutes walk to the train station, from where 7 minutes to the airport. The room had water, a kettle, tea and coffee. Nearby, across the road - McDonald's.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed the stay. To start with the staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast selection and choices were very good. The hotel in general and the room in particular were very clean . The location was perfect and close to most tourist attractions in the city. Finally on top of all that their price was reasonable. I will use it again if needed and will recommend it to others.
GGuest UserThis hotel is a short walk (around 10 minutes or one tram stop) away from the train station. The hotel has a somewhat dated look, a striking near-brutalist aesthetic. The interior is slightly more modern, with a 90s vibe. Nothing is broken and it does the job. Frankly I found the location to price to performance ratio very good for a hotel booked on the day of staying there. Overall, I had a good stay. The rooms are large too!
GGuest UserPerfect stay in centre of Old Town only 2 min walk to Town Square. Very professional staff who are so friendly and helpful. Superb underground luxurious Spa. We chose an internal room overlooking the restaurant rooftop - the room was absolutely perfect for us being so quiet and a comfy king-size bed. High quality furnishings with beautiful bedding and good choice of pillows. Beautiful bathroom with a fantastic shower complemented the quality of the room.
This hotel is pure luxury with a high quality finish which we could not fault.
There are so many restaurants on the door step we decided to sample as many as possible around the old Town rather than use the hotel breakfast and dinner options.
I've travelled with corporate brand hotels for many years with work and I really don't see any advatange of point rewards when you find private hotels to this standard at very competitive prices. The corporate chain hotels are also out of the old town area, so it makes this hotel a perfect choice. I will certainly return to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it.
SSiraI absolutely loved my stay at Stradom House, Autograph Collection. From the moment you enter the lobby and bar, the stunning interior decor sets the tone, and the room itself was spacious, artfully designed, and luxurious yet comfortable, with elegant furniture and a beautiful bathroom—easily a 10/10. My room was located in a separate building accessed through an underground tunnel, which at first seemed quirky but turned out to be utterly charming, as the tunnel itself is beautifully decorated and enchanting to walk through. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious hot dishes made to order from the à la carte menu complemented by an abundant buffet, all enjoyed in a gorgeous breakfast room overlooking a peaceful garden—a truly fantastic way to start the day. The location is another strong advantage, within an easy walk of the Market Square, Wawel Castle, and the lively Kazimierz district. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, style, and unforgettable experiences—I highly recommend it.
GGuest UserHotel is pretty decent for the price.
In terms of positives, the rooms are pretty good. The pool/ sauna are good. I've been to hotels with pools more like paddling pools, but this one you could actually swim lengths in. It was busy around the evening (5-8), but dead in the morning which meant I could have a nice relaxing swim. Reception were nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent enough, though a bit expensive in my opinion. The big downside for a visitor to Krakow is the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Around 20 minutes in a taxi to the centre. There's a bus stop outside the hotel, but the only buses which stop there don't go to the centre meaning a connection is needed. Nearest small supermarket around a 7/8 minute walk and there's a big shopping mall 15 minutes by foot. I stayed for work so was happy enough. First time visitors to the city would be better off getting something closer/ better connected to the centre.
