The property, often referred to locally as “Ravana Rabge,” perfectly captures the charm and serenity that make this region one of Sri Lanka’s most beloved travel destinations. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning architecture and its seamless blend with nature. Built across multiple levels on a hillside, the structure offers panoramic views of rolling green mountains, dense forests, and the distant valley below. The design is both modern and rustic, with warm wooden finishes, open balconies, and large glass windows that allow natural light to flood in throughout the day. Early mornings here feel magical—the soft golden sunlight gently touches the hills, while birdsong creates a peaceful wake-up call. One of the highlights of the property is its beautifully maintained outdoor space. The pool area is particularly inviting, offering a refreshing escape after a day of exploring nearby attractions. Sitting by the pool, surrounded by greenery and fresh mountain air, creates a sense of calm that is hard to find elsewhere. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, encouraging you to relax and fully enjoy the moment. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Great location about 10 min walking from the train station, good staff and the place is clean and tidy. Looks like kind of a chain and that was what I wanted. The room is really small tho and there was no TV. But at least it’s very comfortable and you feel safe. As a solo women traveling I would recommend this place

The ventilation window of the bathroom is directly open to the outdoors. After turning on the light at night, mosquitoes will fly in and small geckos will climb in. The room may be because it is too humid and has a smell. However, the hotel's service was very good. We went to Safari the next morning because the off-road vehicle was stuck in the mud and delayed the time. We returned to the hotel late. The hotel also called to ask if we needed to set aside our breakfast.

good for relaxing and peace of mind

We had 2 nights in Hotel Onrock. It's a nice hotel and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast was good. The only thing is that the hotel is located quite high up, and the walk-up is very steep. Other than that, all was good.

At the beginning, our hotel confirmation was not found. After a few minutes we got our rooms. The pot was very nice.

I had a wonderfull stay with a very friendly stuff. Salindu is a Artist in cooking i enjoyed is food daily. Adit the Man who is always there for me anytime . I can highly Recommend this Guest house in the green nature. Thank you so much for your care. I will come back with my next Sri Lankan journey. Greetings Sita

All the staff were very kind and had a great stay. We had a buffet breakfast and dinner, but none of them were delicious and enjoyed Sri Lankan food. The hospitality of the hotel was transmitted by the manager at breakfast. I would like to use it again.
