The hotel felt really upscale, a true sea-view room. Downstairs, there's a seafood street, and you can even set off fireworks on the beach – it's incredibly romantic, with half sea and half lake. The only downside was the hotel's swimming pool; the indoor one wasn't heated, so it was freezing when I got in. The outdoor hot spring pools were too crowded. Everything else was great.
The staff were friendly and the room was clean, which was nice.
I stayed in a suite, and with three beds, I had a comfortable stay with my friends.
It seems like stylers are a must-have in hotels these days, and they really helped me out.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wonju!
When I go to visit my son's military, I can go out for 2 days and 1 night, so I booked a family room, but there is no space to move except for a double bed for 4 people to sleep in. The space is like putting 2 double beds in a 2-person motel. You can use the gym as a facility for a fee, but the cleaning is not only on the counter, but also on the equipment, so dust is no joke. I thought I could die from working out. There is no one to manage it, and I made a claim to the hotel, saying that they outsource it to an outside company and that they do not manage it. Don't go to the gym.
The ocean view room was truly breathtaking. The rooftop observation deck offers stunning views of both Seoraksan Mountain and the East Sea. The gym boasts ocean views and even doubles as a dance studio. The mango smoothie in the 4th-floor lobby was delicious. A game room in a hotel was a first for me! It's only a 10-minute jog to the Sokcho Ferris Wheel, and right behind the hotel is a port famous for its fresh seafood and crabs.
I loved breakfast and dinner. The food on the second floor was satisfying, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Thanks to the staff who subtly avoided me, my meal was even more comfortable.
I was touched by the staff's small considerations. Thank you.
The front desk was also very helpful with my questions, allowing me to ride the cable car without waiting and adjust my schedule. I also appreciate all the staff for their kindness in making dinner reservations. Thanks to them, I had a comfortable and enjoyable trip to Seoraksan.
I was satisfied with the parking and location.
For those heading to Seoraksan, this is a great restaurant with a great view. No need to worry about parking.
I was surprised by the long line to the small park. I highly recommend staying here.
The bedroom was a bit small, but I slept well.
I'll stay here again if I visit Seoraksan again.
Super value for money. No complaints.
Parking is valet with no extra to pay. DIY laundry keeps all clothes dry and cleaned for multiple days of exploration in beautiful Gangneung! Staff recommended good eating places for grilled pork and beef. Don’t miss the gimbaps!
Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over.
Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest.
Amenities around the areas are sparse as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldn’t go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore.
Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly!
All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there.
The room upkeep was impressive. We were two people, and there were plenty of towels provided, all neatly maintained, so we had no discomfort whatsoever using them. It's a small detail, but I felt it truly showed the hotel's level of management.
Another great aspect was the in-room beverage service. Whenever we requested bottled water, it was continuously provided without any shortage, and various drinks and beers in the minibar and fridge were also complimentary. This significantly enhanced our convenience while relaxing in the room.
When I first booked, I thought the hotel's location might be a bit far from Gangmun Beach, Anmok, and Songjeong Beach. However, walking there, the perceived distance was not as burdensome as I had imagined.
If you take your time, stopping to enjoy the sea views and take photos, it took approximately:
° 30-40 minutes to Gangmun Beach,
° 20-30 minutes to Songjeong and Anmok Beach.
It felt like just the right distance to leisurely walk, stopping to admire the sea along the way. So, ultimately, the location wasn't much of an inconvenience, and I even thought it could be an advantage for those looking for a quiet stay.
Overall, the hotel offered high satisfaction in many aspects, including service quality, room maintenance, room service, and complimentary beverages. It's a highly recommended place if you want to relax quietly in Gangneung and enjoy the sea. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
It's quite a distance, so if you're coming on your own, you'll need to take a taxi. It costs about 25,000 won each way. The breakfast spread is huge, but there are no restaurants around the hotel at night, only within the resort itself. There isn't even a casual spot to grab a drink.
Nice clean hotel across from a nice beach for surfing. I was initially disappointed to find the hotel was across a very busy road from the beach, but the hotel itself is quiet and the rooftop in the morning was a great way to take in the sunset. I might not book here again because of the busy road but the hotel is nice.

GGuest UserNice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

GGuest UserExcellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to ****** which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern.
I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes
Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot.
Overall very good and comfortable stay.
AAriesha Nadhira RoslaneMy friends and I came to Intercontinental Alpensia because we got a really good deal and expected to experience snow right at the resort. The snow arrived a bit later than we hoped but honestly, we still had such a good time! The room was lovely, the weather was perfectly chilly (sometimes too cold.. so come prepared!) and we were lucky to catch real snow at Mount Balsangwan by taking the cable car at nearby resort (Mona Yongpyeong)
We have to give a huge shout out to the in-room dining service; the Beef Risotto and Frutti di Mare Pasta were soooo good. Truly delicious!
The whole area is so pretty and calm, especially with the Christmas vibe when we visited. Everything felt cozy and magical. We definitely plan to return! ❄️💙
浩浩汉Lotte Resort has the best ocean view sitting on the edge of a cliff on the coast. Located centrally in sokcho, it offers the dining options of town and also the outdoor hiking of Seoraksan just 20 mins drive away. Resort had lots of in house facilities, water park, 7-11 at basement floor. Truly exceeded expectations.
