The hotel is located on a mountain. In late April, the cherry blossoms at the foot of the mountain were in full bloom, but there was still some snow around the hotel. Lake Tazawa in spring, especially on a sunny day, is absolutely stunning; the water is a deep blue, just like the sea. We had great weather during our stay. Every morning after breakfast, we'd take the hotel's shuttle bus to Tazawa-ko Station to catch the Komachi Shinkansen to Kakunodate, Akita, and Morioka to see the cherry blossoms. In the afternoons, we'd take the Shinkansen back to Tazawa-ko Station, then the shuttle back to the hotel for dinner and a hot spring bath. The hotel service was excellent, and considering the price, the food was quite good too!

I stayed here from 21 April to 24 April and it was a highlight of my trip. The hotel offers very refined dining experience; instead of a standard kaiseuki, dinner was served course by course. This allowed us to slowly enjoy the incredibly fresh, regional ingredients. It was easily one of the best meals I've had. The onsen is pristine and offers a truly serene atmosphere, facing a lovely garden. Since I visited in late April, I was lucky enough to enjoy the view of cherry blossoms while soaking - a spectacular and relaxing experience. Most importantly, the staff's dedication to service is world class. I realised after checking out that I left my earphones behind. The team was kind enough to courier them directly to my next hotel. I am so thankful for their help. If you want a stay that combines beautiful views with genuine care, this is the place to book.

It's a very typical Japanese hot spring hotel, old but comfortable. The airport transfer service, hot springs, breakfast and dinner were all perfect. We walked along the mountain road to the seaside. The scenery was so beautiful that it cannot be described in words. What was particularly great was that during dinner, the auntie saw that we liked the paper towels under the plates and very thoughtfully rolled new ones for us. It was so heart-warming despite the language barrier. It was the best experience of this trip. . It's a pity that I don't know her name. I hope I can say thank you to her. I will go again in the summer if I have the chance!

I stayed with a young child and a junior high school boy and four people. The type of room is different due to my own recognition mistake and there are small children, so if you consult the front desk staff, you will be happy to respond quickly and prepare a room that suits your wishes. I changed it only with money. It was a really helpful and enjoyable trip. Dinner was also barbecue, beef, pig, bird, seafood, and drinks were self-drinking and alcohol was all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes, so I couldn't eat it at home! Breakfast is not large and it is a good buffet and I usually don't eat much breakfast, but everyone has eaten too much since the morning. The hotel was very clean and the location was good. Normally, neither myself nor my son gets up early, but I take a walk while looking for shells on the sandy beach opposite early in the morning. The children seemed to be very satisfied! However, since the parking lot is gravel, it was difficult to move by stroller, so if you know, you can drop it in front of the hotel. The children were also good, so it was very good as my home!

When I went there, he said there was no single room, so he gave me a double room😎 Very traditional hotel! There is even water 👍🏿 already many hotels do not give water🥲 The curtains cover the sun very well (I'm afraid of the dark🫨 The 55th anniversary of this TMI hotel 😆おめでとう!

This hotel has a great location within easy walking distance to the station and the park. Breakfast served on the top floor has a good aerial view of the city. Food selection was also great with excellent service even for someone like me who does not speak Japanese. Will return for sure.

When I checked in, the whole space echoed the single sound of the tuner tuning the piano. Sure enough, the evening was a concert once a month. We enjoyed the night with other guests. The Japanese drama is not deceiving me, this is what happens in life. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, self-grown, pickled, pickled side dishes with rice balls (Akita rice is really delicious) Dinner is different every night. Surprise from the previous dish. Together, together, together, together, even dessert ice cream is homemade (Akita people are really capable of hands-on) cost-effective to be touching Last night, I opened the door and played the movie. The familiar sound of the film was the king of the circus! It was snowing so heavily that it was a life moment. I have always said that I am going back to Akita's hometown for the past year. It was just a joke because living here has become so figurative.

I wasn’t too impressed with the top floor public bath at first but the trick is to use the day use one on the ground floor which is connected. My biggest objection is to breakfast ending at 8:30. Had I known I wouldn’t have booked breakfast in advance.

Really nice home stay in a lovely little village. The host was friendly and helpful. Even though we turned up super late, he was very gracious and welcomed us into his home. Thank you!
