It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

Great stay！ Central location, quick walk to all city attractions. Rooms are clean, quiet and beds extremely comfym. The best hotel in Sheffield this trip. Breakfast range is generous and tasty, staff friendly and professional. Perfect base for visiting Sheffield, will return.

From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.

We stayed at this and the hotel is convient for driving but not so much for walking but I didn’t mind that. The worst was when someone used our bathroom and wrote on the mirror, that was a little odd but considering it’s Barsley I was not so surprised

The hotel service was generally poor. One day, our room wasn't cleaned. When I complained to the reception, they surprisingly said the housekeeping staff had already left, even though it was still in the afternoon. The receptionist just told me to pick up clean towels at the counter when I returned, refusing to even send them to the room. The counter staff weren't very friendly either; they didn't even apologize!

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to provide some feedback regarding the breakfast service. The overall environment is pleasant, the location is good, and the hotel appears newly renovated. This is my second stay, largely because I previously enjoyed the excellent breakfast. However, on this occasion the breakfast quality seemed to have deteriorated. In my opinion, the food variety was noticeably reduced and did not justify the £20 per person charge. I also observed that breakfast closes at 09:30am on weekdays, yet most guests tend to arrive around 9:00am, creating unnecessary rush and congestion. Extending the breakfast service to 10:00am would significantly improve the guest experience and better accommodate typical guest behaviour. I hope Radisson would consider this feedback as part of their ongoing service improvements.

Weird staining on the bedside cabinets and weird smell to the room. The floorboards were really creaky and you could hear the water flowing from other rooms however the room was nice and warm and the location was brilliant

Special thanks to Guest service manager Louise who was so professional and helpful. She was so understanding when I said I need to swap for a quieter room as I am staying a couple of nights. She also suggested booking the breakfast ahead of time and a couple of local places. The room was clean and the view was fantastic.The 218 and 272 bus outside the hotel take you to Bakewell and Castleton, which is so convenient. Will come back next time!

We chose this place for a hiking trip to the Peak District. It's just a short uphill walk from the train station. There are several Chinese supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for groceries. - The room was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. You need to swipe your card to use the elevator, and there's CCTV in the hallway. You can hang a sign on your door if you don't want your room cleaned. We stayed for four nights and felt very safe. - ‼️ You can check out before 12 PM. ‼️ However, the hotel's Wi-Fi isn't very smooth. The housekeepers make a lot of noise every morning while cleaning, which really disturbs light sleepers who want to sleep in a bit.
