It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.

We stayed at this and the hotel is convient for driving but not so much for walking but I didn’t mind that. The worst was when someone used our bathroom and wrote on the mirror, that was a little odd but considering it’s Barsley I was not so surprised

I genuinely do not recommend this hotel. After checking in, I found a large, awkwardly placed pillar in the room, which severely impacted the living experience. The bathroom also had a pungent, unpleasant odor, indicating a poor environment. It's clear the hotel assigns less desirable rooms to foreign guests, which significantly detracts from the overall experience. I advise everyone to book with caution.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to provide some feedback regarding the breakfast service. The overall environment is pleasant, the location is good, and the hotel appears newly renovated. This is my second stay, largely because I previously enjoyed the excellent breakfast. However, on this occasion the breakfast quality seemed to have deteriorated. In my opinion, the food variety was noticeably reduced and did not justify the £20 per person charge. I also observed that breakfast closes at 09:30am on weekdays, yet most guests tend to arrive around 9:00am, creating unnecessary rush and congestion. Extending the breakfast service to 10:00am would significantly improve the guest experience and better accommodate typical guest behaviour. I hope Radisson would consider this feedback as part of their ongoing service improvements.

Weird staining on the bedside cabinets and weird smell to the room. The floorboards were really creaky and you could hear the water flowing from other rooms however the room was nice and warm and the location was brilliant

Love this hotel ❤️ 2nd stay here this year Came for a birthday treat and Antonia on the desk treated us to a late checkout and 2 free drinks at the bar! Great customer service. The beds are the most comphy beds I've slept in....would have took it home if I could! Great location for the train Station and lots of near by car parks if you drive. The bar has a good vibe sells a mice range of beer including Camden Pale Ale. Good ciffeea too at reasonable prices. The bar staff are very friendly. The all you can eat and drink breakfast is 10/10 and is on until 11amnat the weekend...perfect after a big night out Would definitely recommend 👌

Excellent stay at the Novotel Sheffield centre hotel as a couple. it provided an excellent base for going to the tramlines festival . The room had a very Comfortable bed and a fridge was a nice bonus. The bathroom had a shower over bath a hairdryer, iron, ironing board were provided. Staff were polite and helpful.
