The best part about this hotel was the absolutely spectacular view of the surrounding maintains and valley from the spacious minimalist room and huge terrace; the sunset was among the best I’ve seen in my travels. Another highlight was the food (an extra but reasonable charge) which was plentiful, local, fresh and delicious. Be forewarned that because of the hotel’s isolated location in the mountains (about 1.5 hours from the city), there are no local restaurants or shops, so stock up on any extras/supplies before you arrive (coffee, wine, snacks included). I understand that the owners (who are very hands off) are in the tea business and have a plantation nearby, but unfortunately (perhaps due to the language difference), I wasn’t given any information about this so did not get to experience a tour. One thing that could be improved is the wifi, which was slow but adequate. I ended up extending my stay by 3 nights and spent most of my days reading on the terrace. I would recommend this inn to people looking for a quiet nature getaway.

This is a condo apartment unit. This particular room is actually half-split from the condo apartment. The balcony is therefore also halved. The unit is on the 16th floor and gives a full view of the lake, this is the best to enjoy the harbour view. Room has Aircon cum heater function. The TV is practically useless unless you subscribed to the China pay-per-view services. The toilet and shower is combined, it can get wet and the tiles are slippery. Advised to wear the rubber slippers provided for safety You will need to call up the hotel when you arrive, as the condo needs entry tags to access into the lift lobby. The hotel owner/chambermaid will come down to bring you up to the 16th floor. There are plenty of food outlets downstairs, also some convenience stores. The park is just across the street. The lake is just across the street. Taking taxi from the railway station cost only RMB10 to the apartment.

A sizeable triple room! There were even two sinks. We needed to do laundry and the front desk lady very kindly took our clothes to wash. However they do not have a dryer, so you'll need to factor in time for clothes to airdry. Hotel is on 31st floor (highest floor) of a building with other hotels on other floors. Which means we had a really good view of the city. Was a pleasant stay and would come back to stay if I'm in the city!

May I highlight to potential customers that Novotel Living is not the same as Novotel Kunming City Centre even though both are located next to each other within the same compound. Novotel Living is like a home residence that comes with a mini kitchen, washing machine and even a humidifier. I must compliment their customer service staff (both Ms Fu and Ms Yang) for being professional and could attend to all my needs. Particularly Ms Fu who went an extra mile to delight my customer experience when assisting me to get a cab to a tourist attraction. Perhaps the only constructive feedback to give Novotel Living is there is certain odour found in their bathroom that can be very unpleasant to some customers. The unpleasant smell usually comes from the water pipes or sewage pipes. Other than that, Novotel Living is a value-for-money for all travellers.

This is high rise residential area, with big community, school, pop up market, food stalls, restaurants, 10 minute walk to metro Lianda Station, University Town South zone (Line1) and near Kunming South Railway Station. It is very convenient to stay here when you are expecting the early train for another cities. I access route to Vientian, Laos. You can see hotel signage Infront of building. Inside on G floor, there is a reception of the building, you can ask for the hotel name and the man will advise you go to hotel lobby on 16th floor. Staff is friendly (please use translator app for Chinese) The boss also recommended me the sightseeing places nearby. I stay 4 nights feel like home, comfort bed and amenities are well equipped, emergency Oxygen masks, TV, kettles, hot shower is immediate when need.

The room is clean and the environment is very good. The boss and the boss are very enthusiastic, so after staying for one night, we stayed in another room type for another night without any additional charge. The only drawback is that the toilet and shower room are not set up reasonably. It would be much better if there is a curtain to separate them. The hotel is located in the central business district of Pu'er. Downstairs is a dining street, especially the Walnut Music Restaurant. Hotel building is combined with several other hotels, this hotel is only on one floor i think. I’m surprised by how clean & spacious the hotel is, theres even smart system. The staff is also helpful whenever we need anything. It’s close to the railway station, we had no problem dragging our big luggages & walking to the railway station at 6am it’s around 10-15minutes walk depending on your pace.

Living in a very comfortable and satisfying homestay, my family came to Dali for a trip and compared several Mulan homestays. We were not disappointed. The sea view was very beautiful, and the sunset in the evening was beautiful! The large living room is spacious, bright and tidy, and the overall hygiene is very clean. It has complete facilities and disposable supplies. There is a kitchen for cooking, a washing machine and a balcony for drying clothes. It feels very good to live in a homestay for the first time. My family likes it very much. The community environment is very good. It is very pleasant to walk to the edge of Erhai Lake and take a walk to see the scenery! The landlord is very good and thoughtful. He explained the sea route to us in detail. There are many special foods nearby. It is convenient for travel. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.

The washing machine in the room is my favorite. I went from Guangzhou to Kunming to Pu'er and finally came to Banna. The clothes I brought have been changed. It was still raining in Banna, and the clothes I was wearing were also wet.
