Luxurious hotel with all the comforts one would expect from a Hilton Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Situated on a hill with a spectacular view of Lake Erhai. If you feel like a spoil, this hotel is worth it. Also, a shuttle taking you to the gate of the old town leaves at regular times through the day.

Hotel is close to the old town of Dali, literally a ten minute walk down the hill. Also close to the hospital for a COVID-19 test if needed. Check-in was simple, although they don't speak English....the hotel made contact with me on wechat before we arrived and were very helpful. Hotel arranged a driver for our second day and driver was very good. Didn't try breakfast at hotel as it was basic and instead got food delivery...no problem. Hotel were kind enough to let us do our laundry for free and gave us clothes racks to dry our clothes, which was good. Rooms were comfortable, although bed is on the floor...I guess this is a local thing? Heating was good also...this was needed at night as it got cold. Unfortunately no tea or coffee in the rooms, although water was provided. My only complaint would be that water was never hot or even warm from the shower in both rooms everyday. Tried morning and evening and no luck. Nothing worse than a cold shower on a cold morning! The hotel should fix this problem as this shouldn't happen!

The whole house is equipped with smart appliances that can be controlled by voice. We also provide snacks and good night soup. Bathing in the swimming pool is also very comfortable, and a disposable pool cover is provided, which is very considerate. 4. There is a pick-up or drop-off service. Since we booked a car ourselves, it was not available, but the housekeeper still helped us deliver it to the door and also gave us Yunnan specialty flower cakes. 5. There was a housekeeper to contact us before check-in, who informed us of various matters in advance. If we needed anything, they would help as soon as possible.
